Hello. Hello. Oh, to the episode 102 of The Bee. And you are final regular episode. That's an audio only podcast. Thank you. Thank you. It's the final podcast. But it's the final place you can ever find Karen. It's not good by it. See you over on YouTube. It's yes. Yes. Yes. If you'd like to listen to us in a, I dare say more, you can do it. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't.

Okay. Going on, I can't. We're going to talk just about ever again. We are going to talk about this. And it's a, you know, you know. You know, the first incident, you know, different way than what you think. YouTube.com slash page seven pod. Honestly, it really is kind of like dreams are coming true over here. As someone I used to be obsessed with, Kathie Lee. I was obsessed with gag, Regis and Kathie Lee. I was obsessed with Kathie Lee and Hoda and really this does just give me more of an opportunity to build out a, you know, technically a celebrity multiple shows that is as little about celebrity gossip as I can get away with. This is, yeah, we've been basically manifesting Hoda and Kathie Lee since the beginning. I mean, we're like, I could see them in these calf dance. We're going to be drink, they're drinking wine at 9 a.m.

We're not going to be doing that at 9 a.m. We're probably going to be our live streams. We'll be at a normal time where people can watch and we can drink. But that doesn't mean that that's going to stop us, Cara, because sometimes you need a buzz ball in the morning. A buzz ball in the morning, a buzz ball in the evening, a buzz ball in the summertime. Yeah. A buzz ball in your hand. Oh, yeah, you're drinking buzz balls any time. Buzz balls any time. I thought you were going to put the buzz ball on a bagel and I thought you just, I just imagine you pouring the grapes gone wild all over a bagel. Just being like, how can you do any time? How can you do any time? I'm glad that that's not what the case is. Man, honestly, I thought about you, Cara, because not that long ago, I was drinking a room temperature grape scone wild. One that was left at my house from the last time we were drinking buzz balls and, man, you know what makes a buzz ball really horrific? Drinking it at room temperature. Yeah, to me, they have to be like ice cold. Or when I do my buzz ball toppers, when we do our lives, your floaters, please.

It's in my floaters. Yeah, excuse me. My buzz ball floater, that's usually sitting on top of ice cold white wine that has ice in it, you know. God. I'm trying to hydrate, guys. When I'm on the show, I'm hydrating. Yeah, that's why we mix the wine with the buzz ball. Yeah, it's liquid and it goes inside of us and I know that that hydrates us. That's how it works, right? It's healthy. It's healthy. Yes, almost as healthy as it is to not have social media. I've been thinking about this a lot recently, Cara. I don't know. I think it's just because a friend of mine that I know exactly why. A friend of mine, it is his birthday coming up and I wanted to get more information so that I could get him a good birthday present. Then I went to go look up his socials and he's not online. He's like not on any social media. And I went to him and I said, you're not on any social media. He's like, yeah, man, he's like, you've known me for years and you never asked. It was like, isn't that nice? But also, that's crazy to me. How is your life?

And he's like, great. I love that I don't have social media. But I then started thinking much more because it was really difficult even 10 years ago. Dating Jeff and Jeff didn't really have that much of a social media presence and it drove me mad because I couldn't snoop and I couldn't find out more information. And I was thinking that was like almost 10 years ago. Like what do you be like now in 2026? And if you were, let's say you matched with somebody or you got for big and meet somebody in the wild, they have no social media whatsoever. Wild at first thought. I'm like, oh, thank God, that's amazing. Your life must be wonderful. But also, how does anyone stalk you? I just don't think you need to get.

You're just pre-stocking someone on the internet to me is like trying to give yourself pre-ic. Like why are you trying to see some kind of like crappy sketch they made 12 years ago? Why are you trying to see some old picture where they had a haircut they don't like? I think you're meeting a person who is living in the present and not that everybody's past don't matter. Like obviously if you found somebody like with a swastika tattoo, that would be something to really think about. That passed probably matters. That would be, you know? Yeah, like, but like you're going to find that out. Like you're going to know that pretty quickly, the swastika tattoo specifically. I guess I just think like you're just giving yourself a chance to judge someone based on their past. Yeah. And not like them for it. Yeah, exactly. I'm trying to protect myself, Cara. Like I feel like if it's like if you look at Justin Trudeau's history and you're like, oh, that one picture. That was a costume to you. Maybe you should learn for Katy Perry. Why would you post that?

You know what I mean? I feel like, but also in like, I remember specifically with Jeff because I and I still do find him so desperately attractive that I was looking for a time like a vulnerability that I wanted to see like a young, bad picture of him. And he had scrubbed all of the socials of them. I just wanted to see what I still, I've been married to him almost five years. And I still have never seen a picture of him in middle school. Really? Yeah. Never have. There's none. There's no all gone. Oh, and it drives me crazy. I just want to see. I'm just curious. Oh, gosh. Have you seen Jared's? Yes. I've got pictures of him. I don't think he would? Yeah. No, I'm not really grown up. This is one of the things I think of his kind of calling collab. I do believe in him. Even escriwatch, it's something to the Russianες pretty much. Theลє Stir шς шbones ш сюж ш toured her down in his inner space.

He could still see us in this place and that was really nice question, for me. Oh yeah, look at the Harsh Fitness stuff. And even his parentsassic Islanders get stage wyandy. That's cute though. That's like a middle school photo is different to me than what would be on social media, which would be like me, like two years at a college. You know, I'm bloated and I'm like at a party before, before there were like, there was any kind of filtering or phone editing. Like when we used to take photos, by the way, for all the youngs, when we used to take photos on like disposable cameras, the flash would go off and just absolutely whiten everybody to shit. If you're talking about white people, it would just literally wash you out so hard that like all my college photos pretty much, I was going tanning regularly and I look like a little ghost girl, you know? So I just like, you want to go back and look at those and be like, like, I don't know, you want to go back

and look at like some sketch I made for fun with my friends when I was 24. Yeah. I want to see. I want to go back and find girls are roommates and sketch me and Jackie made an episode I made with Jackie. Having a banana as a baby. And I get to a banana. Yeah. I mean, I can see a guy going, I don't think this is the girl for me, but why are you judging me based on that? I'm so much more. I'm so much more than just a banana mom. You're right. And so you're right, maybe it has nothing to do with dating. I just feel like I am such, I don't trust anyone. But here's the thing, we also know that all of social media is curated too. And a lot. So it's like, that's the thing at the same, that that's why I think I am fascinated by this conversation because every person I've brought this up to was like, I think it's a green flag that they don't have social media. And I was like, am I broken? I'm the only one that I'm just like, but I can't stop you. There's also a difference between social media and just like Google results. True. You can't just Google someone and see what's out there.

No, no, no, no, I'm talking specifically about social media. I mean, yeah, you want to just check back and the Instant Facebook and stuff. Because also it shows more about the person to see what they choose to post. You know what I mean? I think that explains a lot. Yeah, yeah, but again, that's true. Again, a huge for me is when somebody is very different in person than they are on social media. Also, when they have like a social media persona, I'm like, then it's too much. Yeah, that's the thing. Because even my persona is technically just seems like if Jackie were trapped in a cage and forced to write a caption, like she feels that she is, that's what I create, you know? And... Well, and it's not fake. That's like an authentic Jackie sort of like... Perfect. It's like a Jackie, what am I trying to say? What am I? Like a... No, no, no, no. Like an alter ego. It's kind of like an alter ego of yours. You know what I mean? It is still part of you. It's not like...

It's not like, I don't know, I just know people that are like pretty cool and normal and down to earth and then online. They're just like, ugh, they just put out a totally different... That's why I keep Mr. Yummy offline. Because Mr. Yummy is a different part of me, but Mr. Yummy gets out of my fingers. And nobody's gonna want to listen to me anymore. Oh, I'm talking to Jackie's personalities. I just always... Truly thought that I was going to become the many faces of Eve. I just assumed at some point I was gonna have a schism. I'm gonna have mold, I'm gonna have DID. I'm just gonna have, you know, as many personalities and I'm still worried it's gonna happen. But apparently I think I'd know by now. Thank you, Bernie. I think you're past the usual date for that kind of thing. What do you mean I'm so young, Cara? Even I can be schizophrenic. I think he's schizophrenic. That usually happens much younger. You are young. Thank you. You're so young that she could be. Personality's are young, by brain and gorgeous. Thank you, thank you. I have friends. I will say though I have friends that are off social media

and they seem very happy and I'm sure it's great for them. They love it. Then I feel like I go years without knowing what the hell's going on with them. If they don't live in my city or like, I'll be like, what's going on? Like I don't know what your kids look like. I don't know what exactly. Honestly, I was also thinking about this because my big ex also doesn't really have any social media. And it's one of those not that I even care. But if I once or while, do you care, yes. I mean, I'm human, right? I'm curious. What's you up to? But you know, that's all right. The fingers, they just keep on walking, I guess. But I don't know where they're going to walk too. Right off a cliff. These fingers are made for walking. All right. Thank you for talking this out with me, Cara. Just I, you know, I think it's better that even in friendship, I think it's good to know that I never, ever trust anyone. And this is for everyone to remember. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and I know plenty of women also do like deep drives on people before they go on like first or second dates, I guess, because they do it out of like, you know, self,

like safety, safety. But also you should be meeting people at like, you know, share your location also. Yeah, share location with someone. Back before I just had my, I just got my mom's phone. I go, give me your phone and I shared her location with me. I was like, it's about time. I need to know where you are. It is, it is about that time. Although I, you know, I don't know if we've talked about this on this show. I, a friend of mine found out that Jeff and I don't share each other's locations that I don't know his location and she was dumbfounded. And she's like, how are you supposed to know where he is? And he said, I ask him. I used to track Jared. You have kids. I think it's bad with his phone. And I think if kids are a part of it, I think it's sometimes you just don't have the time. Before we had kids, before we had kids, I would track Jared. And he'd always be like, well, how did you know where it was? I was like, oh, I, I track you. And he was like, oh, okay. And then he did track me for years. Now he tracks me. I never check where he is. And he always checks where I am. Interesting. If I'm out with friends, if I'm out with friends, like sometimes I'll be like, I have this one friend

where we'll after we have dinner with like our group of our friends, she'll always be like, you want to go get one more? And because we live near each other. So we'll go get one more and he'll be like, everything okay. I thought you left the restaurant. And like now you're kind of in the neighbor. And I'm like, everything's fine, dad. I'm like, what are you talking about? Sometimes we just need one more. And I hope you're waiting around to get it after this ad. Hey, it's Dan Cummins. A bill for a limited time of participating restaurants. Tax not included, not valid for use within a combo or in combination with any other offer or discount. But did you get one more, Cara? I did. I got one more. Good. I mean, you know, he's just kind of like, oh, I just checked. I mean, the reason I track him is because the dumb ass would go pick me up at the LAX Airport when I said Burbank and Robert Burbank in the calendar and texted Burbank. And then I'm like, are you on your way to LAX right now? And he's like, yes, damn it. I'm like, I can see you. I can feel you making a mistake. Oh. I can also feel the solicited advice. Just breathe and down our neck. First, we're going to do our first voicemail. I love this. Yes. Thank you for calling, whose bitch. Tell us in the voicemail, whose bitch.

Hi, ladies. You might remember me from such, who's the bitch comments as the girl who broke up with her boyfriend because he stepped on her daughter's sucker and crushed them into the ground because he was. Oh, yes. That was the only one. That she was being a kid and he was trying to quit smoking. Well, that's me. Well, I'm still in the dating game. And I had recently started dating a guy and we had closed off from each other with each other. I should say, a love island might say we closed off. And we were explicitly dating each other. And you might even say we were boyfriend and girlfriend. OK. Anyways, we had decided that we were not going to see anyone else starting at the end of May. And now it's July. And I also happened to belong to this lovely Facebook group called, Are We Dating the Same Guy?

And I saw this face pop up with his fumble profile. And I commented on it and was like, why do you have this up here? And she said that they would have been boyfriend and girlfriend since April. And he'd started to fall off. Since we contact with her slowly. He hadn't seen her in like a month. But they were still talking and they were still exclusive. And so we discovered that we were in fact dating the same guy. So that just led to a breakup for both of us. Yeah. Obviously, there's not going to be having that happen. All the lies and such. But I was talking to his girl on Instagram. And I remember when we single mom was looking for friends. And we have decided to meet up for coffee.

And maybe we'll be friends. So I was wondering is obviously he's the bitch. But him, I the bitch for looking to find a friend from this very weird thing that has happened to both of us. Let me know. Thanks. Bye. Babe, why would you be the bitch? I know. What would you be the bitch about? I just like talking to my kids. You like to highlight the are we dating the same person pages? I think that's fun. It's crazy Kara that so many people not only use that, but then find out that information. Like that's crazy. And this helps many people, which is crazy. Because I just I never look at Facebook. I never would like this is such a smart use of a community forum. You know, it's a sad use of a community forum that we

got to be doing this that you even saw it and even thought, oh my God. I think that's like, I feel like even if I saw a picture of Jeff, and we're like, that's I know that's not right. You know, I'd keep going. You know what I mean? And I am proud of you for going in and just immediately ending it. I love that the friend immediately ended it. Nah, bitch. Fucking yeah. Yeah, just like that's like a game recognized game. We have a same worldview. Like, you know, it's like because sometimes you hear stories like this. And then the like one girl will be like, but then I kind of, I'm going to keep seeing him because I really like him and he like, you know, whatever, but like if two girls are both like, bye, bye boy. See you later. Then I think it's like you guys are just to be friends. You're both like putting yourselves first. Yeah. And you both like not going to be disrespected. No. The bitch to be honest, completely. Oh, I mean, he's definitely the bitch. And it's just a little jackass. It's just the kind of thing where again, I know that we talk about

secret families all the time. Like, I just, it is only, it's so surprising to me. When you find someone that I'm going to say is stupid enough to think that they can juggle more than one relationship when you're doing it surreptitiously. I think it is so like it's, it's, it's funny to me that people think that men think that they can do it too because it's just like that's not your wheelhouse, you know, like I'm going to say it. We're much better on the whole get away with things oftentimes. And yet you barely see a woman that has a second family. It's going to be time because we know that we don't have the time to properly be able to keep the family a secret. You know why it takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of work. And they don't even think like no one's ever going to find out where they going to make a Facebook post about like, yeah, they are. And they're going to find out.

And then they're going to become good friends. And I hope you're all alone. I mean, I can't believe these men are out there doing that when they know these groups exist. It's like you're too stupid. But that's the thing is that they're so stupid that they can't see. You know what I mean? It really is just, they're just like, my dick. They can't see the stupid forest for the stupid tree. Yeah, because their dick is in their eyes. And it shouldn't be a fair. I'm a dick in my eye. Oh, oh, my forest. Oh, you know, it just drives me baddie. I am, I'm happy. You know what? I'm happy that you broke up. Don't bring up bats, Jackie. Oh, God, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You know, the bat can hear. I'm proud of you though that you broke up with your boyfriend when he crushed your kid suckers. And I'm proud of you for immediately dropping this guy like a bad habit. But get a friend in the meantime. Get a friend. You immediately get off. This is awesome. You guys can wing man and try to find a good guy. Yeah. You can wing women each other and try to find a good guy. Yeah.

This is great. Definitely be friends. Love this for us. All right. Let's move on to our next solicited advice. This is an email. Okay. We've got greetings from Minneapolis. Ooh, I love Minneapolis. Okay. I'm bad on the phone. So let's try this. Let's start a mess up a chance with a beautiful lady in 2016 who literally introduced me to the last podcast crew, which led me to this and all the other podcasts. So I thought this is the place for an answer. Just don't use my name in case she loses to this. Got it. This beautiful lady saw a drunk arrogant, coked up guitar player and decided after two months to rightfully ghost my ass, which broke my heart and started me on a path that has led me to a stable job, having health insurance and two and a half years of sub right. Congratulations. Congratulations. As well as an incredibly undeserved second chance and I don't want to mess it up. She's unfortunately had a couple big sad family things happen over the last couple months. She's the busy and house sitting and really going through it. So we've just been texting, sending funny memes and the occasional fit check kind of pictures.

Nothing overtly sexy, which is fine. I'm not trying to push things. Love this. It's been lies my bitch status. A couple of these pictures have been her holding a white claw lounging in her backyard, barefoot, which to me is the same as a full on nudie nude. I would put in my hidden photo album and I wonder if I'm the bitch for not telling her that she's basically sending me a topless photo of herself. I'm not a creep about this kind of stuff. I can be a functional adult in public, but we never talked about this back in the day so she doesn't know. Would you ladies want to know if somebody you are casually but romantically talking with has a fetish for something you don't really think about it in that way? It's only been a couple photos. If she asked me what kind of polish she should put on or that kind of thing, I'd probably say something. But for now, I'm worried if I don't tell her that if the time comes for me to divulge what I'm into, she might think I'm a creep. I hope this makes for a little palette cleanser between some of the bigger things you tackle. I love you all very much.

Have a delightful day. I think I really think in context that this is a man, but I'm not sure. This person has a foot fetish and is wondering if they should let their current girly pop know that so that when she, I don't know, it just would get me so in my head about sending pictures. What do you think, Jackie? You guys are, you were saying nothing overtly sexy. I guess my real question is, are you guys, is this a friendship currently that you are hoping to have something with? I'm assuming. Or is this like a flirt because they said nothing overtly sexy. So I'm wondering, my big question would be, if I know that this might sound stupid

but go with me. I'm cooking. If you better cook are aware of the fact that you're flirting with each other, I would want to know just because I would want to know and even like as someone that has no problem with anybody having a foot fetish, it would mostly be because like, oh, well, then I want to get like a pedicure like, oh, I don't want to just show you any feet. You know what I mean? Like, that's how I would take it of like, oh, thank you so much for telling me because like, I want to, you know, because when you're in the beginning of a relationship, you want to put your best foot forward. But I also am sexy as well. Thank you. Yes. The hotter one. Thank you, everybody's got one. I would want to know where this was going before I open that up because I feel that if you weren't at that place and then I got from and we are assuming if I got that from a man, I just be like, oh, I was just sending you pictures of me in my backyard.

I didn't realize like, oh, I didn't mean to do that. And I feel like it sounds to me like you guys would be physical if she wasn't going through all this stuff. Right. And you guys weren't like, like she's house sitting, she's busy separating. So I would say that like, yeah, after I would say more sexual contact is initiated, you know, like, I don't know if I was like lying in bed with a guy I was dating and he was like, oh, my God, I think your feet are so sexy or something. That would be like a good context to say that. And I don't think that she'd be like, oh, my God, I've sent you all these photos of me at the pool with my feet out. Like, I don't think that anyone's going to jump to that. But I'd want to make sure that she's on the same page as you before you said anything. Like I said, right. You really want because then you don't want it to also be like, where is this coming from? I mean, if you've just like had sex or you've just hooked up with what I was saying, you're saying like things that you find hot about it.

Because then you bring it up in the like, you know, you've actually been turning me on and not even knowing it this whole time. You know, like doing that because I also feel that there's a difference that all of us as adults in liking something like a foot fetish, which is very easily a consenting, consentible fetish that for you, I would at least to make myself feel better. I mean, I hope you're not like putting up the pictures and just like, you know, it's like going down on yourself. Like I feel like we can all look at a sexy picture and be like, damn, and then go on with our day. If you feel that this is something that you're like, I can not, I can not, I can not, I can not. That's also a different conversation too. And that should be also talked about in therapy or in anywhere, you know? Yeah. And I think you're you asked like you're you said you're mostly talking in text. And I guess what we're both saying is like, this is not something to bring up over text.

No. Oh, no. Don't bring this up over text. This is like a in person thing. I would say pillow talk. Pillow talk. Longs in a conversation that's pillow talkie or about sexual turn-ons. And I think like when she sends you pictures of her at the pool, you could just go, oh, you could say like, wow, you look so great or like, you look hot. I wonder when I'm going to see you or something, you know, like, but I also don't think that like if once you know this is definitely sexual going both ways of if she sends you a picture and a feeder in it, if you say, oh, damn, you're looking so good. You're looking really great too because it's all like I don't think that's still just flirting. You're still just flirting with the person. Yeah. I think it's like, yeah, like I'm saying like you could try to turn it into a flirtier direction. And then maybe it'll get there with the feet, but like, because all the way now it's maybe she's going to lean to that too. Like, no idea. But that's why we got to make sure we got to get closer to that before we don't want to scare her away. Because it's not because of a fetish is not a scary thing.

It's not all in how we communicate and talk about it. Like, I mean, you know, there, there's a spectrum. I'm not talking about all those, but I'm talking about just in general, you know what I mean? And I just feel that this is, but if you were to just randomly write her back and go, you know, I'm actually like a huge foot guy. And every time you send me one of these pictures of yourself just like at the lake with a white claw, I get like a massive boner and I just like love your feet. That would be a buy talk to you. Or like, I don't think you should, and that's not me shaming your fetish. That's just like, we're not, that's not where the conversation is going. We're not there yet. We haven't been talking about that. You guys haven't been like, if you're sift, if you're like having text sex or you're having phone sex or something, you know, like that's, or, you know, not to be like talking about things that you guys are into. Like if you're having the conversation, especially when you're first getting to know someone of like bringing up of like, oh man, I like, I'm totally, you know, it's like, I'm totally into heels or I'm totally. Like that's, it's more of like, it's like, I'm also, because there's nothing to be

ashamed of genuinely. It's like, I love pickleball, margaritas and feet and feet. Was up. I mean, yeah, dude, it's just like, it just depends on what you're into. Everybody's got something. It's all in how we talk to each other about it. But I appreciate that you wrote in and asked about this and I appreciate it. It already goes to show you are a good person for thinking this. You know, it's like, that's why I mean, like I don't want, you know, be like, oh, got, like, and be self conscious about something like this because it, like you thinking about this and thinking about how you put her in this situation. Now, I also feel it would be different if it was started like where she's starting a to ring business and she wants you to be the head of her PR. Yeah, I'd love it. You know, you should probably talk about these things just because you're going to have quite a perspective. Actually, it might be the perspective she wants. We're not talking about a toe ring job right now. We're talking to you and we appreciate you even thinking about it because this is how

we all should be is at least being aware of how we say things and how we communicate things. It's not just, will I'm communicating? That's how we do it. Yeah, let us know because what if she's really into feet too? Yeah, I'm glad she's given you another chance because it sounds like her ghosting you kicked you off. It's a great direction. Yeah, good for you. Hell and congratulations for doing all the work that you've been doing. Let's go to our next voicemail. Oh, okay. Thank you for calling. Tell us in the voicemail who's the bitch. Hi Jack, I hope you're doing well. This is Addy. I was calling with kind of like a medium six situation. I'll just be right back. So my best friend from high school is getting married. Very excited for her. Everything you know is perfect, wonderful. And for context, I, this best friend and I have known each other in high school and then

we also have two other girls that we would consider like our best friends. Besties. Four of us. Okay. And these other two girls have known my best friend will call her, will call her Bridget. They've known Bridget since, like great school. So they've known her for longer. It's just like with outside circumstances, Bridget and I stayed in our home town. We just gotten a lot closer, you know, as as we're adults, you know, worked through mental health stuff, all that good stuff together and what's really good about it. Okay, so here's the situation. So Bridget asked me if I would be her meetrin of honor and obviously that was something like I was honored and it really meant a lot to me. So of course I said yes. And Bridget is very, very close with her sister. So her sister was going to be the maid of honor. So just for clarification, out of us in our four friend group, I'm the only one that's married so far.

Okay. We're all excited. You know, I'm super stoked. And we like kind of move on with the plans. And I get a text from another of our friends. This is kind of that four friend group. You know, bestie group, we'll call her Sarah. And Sarah said, hey, this is kind of awkward, but I'm going to ask you this outright. Bridget asked you to be the maid of honor. And I said, well, no, she has to be the meetrin of honor. You know, because I'm married. And that light catapult is Sarah. Oh, no. And she was like hysterics, so she called me and she was like, I don't want to ruin this for you. But I just feel like really hurt that Bridget shows you over me. And I tried to like say to Sarah like, hey, because I'm married, you know, I'm the maid of honor.

The maid of honor is Bridget's sister. Right. And that's always been known. And Sarah even said, I knew that that that sister was going to be. The maid of honor. But I just, I don't know, I just had hope that I would be, you know, a more important status in there. So, here's the situation. And I, the bitch, for kind of having her feelings towards her, like the way that she called me and essentially was like, well, you don't deserve to be the chinsaid out. So, the situation that I, you know, should be the maid of honor. Even though it doesn't make any fucking sense because I'm married, she's not married. It's not even possible for her to be that good. So, it's a stupid, stupid fucking title. It doesn't mean anything. Yeah. So, my bitch, I like it's been very sensitive. And like I said, I'm here for Bridget. There's really hard times. And she's been here for me.

And we're really close to each other at least once a week. And we talk to each other every single day. And that's not the relationship that Bridget is there, I have anymore. And that's not something that's negative. But it just kind of hurt my feelings that, yeah, but like she came at me so far. It wasn't so upset. And obviously, maybe the bitch is just titles, like if that, you know, wedding, in the data titles, they heard the whole fashion set. Okay, so I love you guys so much. Trying to keep the screen. Let me, you guys talk to you later. Bye. But before we get to that advice, we're going to have to hear from our sponsor. Hey, it's Dan Cummins. We meet you wait for a whole ad to give you our juicy response to that. Yeah. So I think you see first of all, I just want to clarify that usually a brighter groom has a best man or a maid of honor. You're made of honor and your matron of honor are the exact same. The same. It's just a matron of honor is a married woman and a maid of honor is an unmarried woman.

So I do like having a kid in a separate one. It's kind of fun. You don't need to though. That's like you're having two maids of honor. Basically, like you don't need to is all I'm saying. And I personally had my sister just be my maid of honor so that I could avoid exactly what's happening with you and your friends right now. Same. But having said that. They got versus. I mean, I did just for rent. Yeah, but like when you look it up, it's like made of honor and matron of honor, they have the exact same. They have the exact same like rank. They do the exact same. They fulfill the exact same obligations. Like they're there to be like the second person to the like the right hand of the bride or whatever. But so like this person, Bridget definitely said to herself, my two girls are my sister and Adi. And if that's a problem for Sarah, she really should have kept that to herself to be honest. Like I can't believe she called you to cry about that.

Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention, excuse me. She left another little voicemail just telling us. I forgot to mention both my other best friends, including Sarah are bridesmaids in the wedding. So it's not like they're all bridesmaids. Oh, but she's just like so Sarah and Abbey are bridesmaids. So you're in the wedding party. Yeah, but Bridget, I think honestly, unfortunately, Bridget really should have made the sister, the matron, matron, made made of honor. Made she did. She made of our love to that and made all three friends. And he should have been, they should have all been bridesmaids. I mean, this is the fact that this is an issue, the fact that you know what I will say. Please, sorry, really quick, really quick. If you live far away from your sister and your best friend lives in town and is going to come with you to fittings and is going to come with you to pick out this and that I could see how you'd be like. You would be my other made of honor because my sister lives in China or is abroad right now or like is across the

country. You know what I mean? Like sure, or you just have your bridesmaids do it, which is what I did. My sister lives across the country. She couldn't do any of this stuff with me. So I just made my bride's name. Yeah, so you do like your bridesmaids do. Yeah, it's just, there's, I just feel like this, and I feel sad because even like Adi said, you're the only one that's married in your group before. So it's like they haven't gone through this system yet of understanding that at the end of the day, you're all going to be doing work and helping like it really like the title doesn't really matter. But I also understand having hurt feelings because Bridget didn't talk to them about it and just like chose Adi and then didn't talk to Sarah, didn't talk to the other friends about it. And I think that is kind of shitty. She shouldn't have to, I know, but if your friends are going to act like that, I kind of disagree Jackie. They live in the same hometown together. The other two moved away. They're still a good group of friends.

Your own bridesmaids. But guess what? The one that I'm the best friends with gets to be my made my made my made turn of honor with my sister. And you're like, maybe she's not even close with her sister and her sister's only made of honor because it would blow up her freaking family's life. She didn't make it her sister. And so she chose her friend who like I do think it is like a sentimental thing. And you have the right to choose whoever you want. You don't have to run that by anyone else. And they're all bridesmaids. This woman Sarah is making up a hierarchy that is bullshit. Like it is really crazy. And I think that calling up and going, I'm just going to ask you point of like, I thought I would have a higher status at this wedding and crying. That is not here for Sarah. I'm not here for sweating all about her and making another bridesmaid feel bad for having a half step rank up. Like you just said, bridesmaids are pretty much all the same. They're all the same. The matron and the maid are they stay on the closest to you. It's like not they get their own little they get their own little line in the program.

Whatever. I just I feel like these I'm going to assume either younger people have not been through the rigour roll of having many friends get married. And as somebody that like when I I know Carrie you've been in a bunch of wedding parties. I've been in a bunch of wedding parties when they tell me I'm just a bridesmaid or I'm just a groom's person. Done. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I don't want to be the matron of honor. It's too much work. It's too much work. It's so much work. You'd rather be a bridesmaid. You want to be a bridesmaid. It's more fun to be just be a bridesmaid. In fact, it's actually just as difficult to be a bridesmaid. They're all difficult because you have to do a bunch of work. I've also been a total non bridesmaid and planned the bachelor at and done tons of stuff and gone to fittings with people. You know what I mean? Like I just think it's like that's why I just made it with my am I wedding. Jared had his brother. I had my sister. I was like I just don't want this to turn into a let me pick my six best friends type thing when I have so many close friends that I love.

And I just it was so easy that way. That said. I think Sarah could have been a little bit more than I thought. Sarah could have easily hung up the phone and had a nice quiet cry to herself saying she'd actually find for Sarah to be disappointed. I guess she could be disappointed. But to make you feel bad about it. You're not the bitch for feeling hurt about that. I think. But I think that's she's she's totally acting like crazy. Yes. And I also feel like it's not on Bridget to do this. But I feel like if my if my people were acting a sunder in this manner. I think that I would then find different jobs for them to all do. You're like see, you're all special. And now you're going to do this. And now you're going to do this. And I feel like this is, you know, you're the matron of honor. You know, put out some of the fucking delegates, some of your things then. like, oh, you want to be the make sure to have honor? Great. Help me with these things. Great. We can all get this stuff done. It's like Sarah wanted it to be like,

I thought we were just all going to be equal bridesmaids because there was a maid of honor. And then what you, what Bridget did was like basically added a bonus maid of honor. And that's making Sarah but hurt. And I think that Sarah is getting maturely. Yeah, she needs to get a bitch. Sarah's the bitch. Like, I'm sorry. I have my good high school friends. And I could totally see one of them being like, no, I'm actually having this person because we live in the same damn town and we see each other multiple nights a week. That is, I see you three times a year texting, you know, phone calls, whatever. We're still close. But like, you're obviously going to get close with the somebody that still lives in your hometown or whatever. Yeah. I just think this shit is nuts. And you're right. It's a bunch of old fashioned hierarchy that's made out of nothing. You know, it's based on nothing. It's based on like really like just antiquated, stupid stuff. So there's a couple of other things going on. You know, we could be upset about all kinds of things but I know that a lot of us compartmentalize, you know, and then we just let you steal

and we'll be upset about these things instead. So hopefully Sarah gets her head on straight and understands that don't bring it to you, Adi. That shame be dropping on your door. But also if you want to just defuse the situation, you can, I guess, if you can. Yeah. You okay? Yeah. I just, I'm rereading a little bit of her thing to see if I missed any details. But no, I really think Sarah's the bee. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Great. I was waiting. I was like waiting to see if she said a reason. No, she didn't. Like I just don't like. I sorry. No, Sarah is not in my heart. Sarah. Sorry. Okay. Let's some read our next email. Will you Jack? Got you. Got you. Hi, guys. I love you both. And always listen to y'all as I get ready for work in the morning. It's like I'm gossiping with my girlfriends. Here's what's up. My mother-in-law, Laura, wants to do a big family photo

session with a photographer. It would consist of Laura, my husband, and myself. His brother and sister, along with their spouses and children. Here's the deal. I don't want to participate in the photo because I feel oddly superstitious about it. I feel like it's asking the universe, hey, look at these happy assholes. Let's tear them apart. It doesn't help that I work at a place that prints in at its photos and we often remove ex-spouses from family photos and reprint them. I don't know why I feel this way. I think I just really don't want my picture taken. I'm not a big selfie or photo person to begin with, nor do I post on social media or whatever. Even on vacations, I often take photos of stupid shit instead of the touristy stuff. My aversion to the traditional family portrait session could be stemmed from my upbringing as the youngest member of a very large, yet ignorant white trash family where everyone was divorced, poor, and proud of it.

Although I do not speak to any of them anymore, some of the, we don't do any of that snooty shit. Is still ingrained in me. I've told my mother-in-law how I feel about all this and she's insisting to do it anyways. I've even offered to do the photos myself because I have pretty good DSLR camera, a tripod, and a graphic design degree. That means I know Photoshop. I could do it for free and save her money. On top of that, my mother-in-law is still friendly with her ex-husband, the siblings' father, but absolutely does not want him in the photos. That was her third marriage, by the way, but now I'm just being a bitch for mentioning that fact. However, it does feel a bit on the nose, eh. My husband is indifferent to the whole thing. He just wants to make me happy, but he's also a good mama's boy and just does as he is told to make her happy. Or as a pretty good mother-in-law, she leaves us alone for the most part and she's genuinely a wonderful, hardworking woman.

So I guess that's why whether I like it or not, I'm gonna go through with it and wear whatever dumb, coordinating clothing choices that are made and put a big stupid smile on my face and hope the universe won't notice us and try to tear us apart. You're there as a pot, Lisa! I hope you guys could help enlighten me on why I am the way I am, a bitch, stop that. Or if forcing me to do something I really don't wanna do is a little bit dot, dot, dot, bitchy. What do you think? This is from Dana. Okay, so Dana, I don't really understand the superstition of it. Like I'm somebody who like has actually organized a family photo shoot for my family, but I tried to do it in a way that was like, here's a color palette. So like we're not all wearing like khakis and denim shirts. You know what I mean? Like I'm not trying to like look, I think those are cheesy, but after I had my daughter,

I was going to be in Connecticut with my family. We were all gonna be together, which is rare. And I thought, you know what? I'm gonna pay for us to get professional photos taken. And look, I'm like four months postpartum in the photos. Did one of my mom's friends come over and say, oh, you're expecting again to me? Yes, that did happen. I don't love the photos particularly, like of myself, particularly, but I do love that the photos exist. I do think like family photos are important. And I don't think you're tempting any kind of like deity to tear you apart. Like trust me, I have my husband's brothers. My brother-in-law's ex-wife is in all of my wedding pictures. That's a snapshot of time. I'm not having her edited out of all those pictures. You know what I mean? Yes. I think it's just like it's a nice thing. I totally get that you don't really like being in pictures and stuff like that completely. So I feel like a mitigating way to do this is because you say like your mother loves a nice woman and ultimately you're doing this as a favor to her.

So I would just make something upwards. Like I can totally come to the photoshoot but I can only stay for like 20 minutes. So you're really like you're gonna be in a few photos but you won't be in everyone and you won't be like doing that thing where you're like my mouth is hurting from smiling. Like I have another commitment. I'm so sorry I can make it to the photoshoot so they'll get all the group photos right up top. They won't do a bunch of ones like posed with you and your sorry, was it husband or husband? Like you know what I mean? Like they won't do ones that are like, okay now let's do like a funny one. You know, like you could just get in and out and then you've done this thing for your mother-in-law but you haven't like tortured your soul for like two hours. You know what I mean? Now like yes. I completely understand Cara. I also like I don't maybe I'm reading too far into this but just the fact that you're thinking about it being superstitious and especially as somebody that has a lot of anxiety and sometimes it manifests in what I feel is like, oh God, like there's a curse or all God,

like no, I just feel like the energy is just against me right now and I know that now Cara, you are not gonna like this response whatsoever but this is going to Dana, okay? And if you're superstitious, maybe you're a little woo-woo as well. As someone that I oftentimes used to get really wrapped up in my anxieties to a point that I would worry that they were going to become realities and I think a lot of people understand that's you know, some mental health responses inside of my brain that the more I start thinking about it, the more I worry that because I'm thinking about it that I'm gonna manifest it anyway and that all like and that all then what am I gonna do? The more I think about it and the more I worry about it and so all of this, so then in your brain you're like, oh, it's a superstition, that's what it is which like I feel like sometimes it's like the hat we put on an anxiety that we have or like a reason like an explanation for ourselves.

Sometimes when I'm really feeling this way, I'll do like a ritual for me. I'll do something for me that sometimes like gemstones that I write down all of the things that I want to happen, all the positive things that like I do a lot of like Bailey for rituals and things like that. If there is a way, if something that you can create for yourself that you feel that you're burning away all of the issues that you're having with it and you're left with something like a stone or something that you can keep with you that you have put the positive intentions into this is going to go well. I just need to have this stone with me. I just need to light this candle that day. I know that for some people that kind of stuff does not work whatsoever, but I'm just, and maybe I'm looking too far into this Dana, but maybe something like that to help you alleviate the anxiety of like something bad will happen if this picture is taken.

You know what I mean? Mm hmm. And what I could be for you, I just, I find that there are many different rituals that I come up with that help just give me the support that I feel like I need, especially going into a situation where you're uncomfortable. You're taking a picture, you're already uncomfortable taking pictures, you already have this idea about family photos already. So of course, it's sitting on you like a big wet blanket, you know what I mean? And you're just feeling these things which I completely understand. Also, nobody wants to take a fucking family photo. I get that too. Yeah. But I think that there are ways to work with your brain to help you manifest a more positive experience. Yeah, and I also totally get the whole like, I'm from a family that didn't do stuff like this. And so, my family didn't do something like that. But like, you know, it is just like, you're not having to pay for it. This woman just kind of wants the gift of your presence.

And so, I'm like, give it a finite time so that like make up some excuse of like what like I don't know why you gotta go. That you're giving your presence a little bit to your mother-in-law who is a nice mother-in-law and a wonderful person, as you said, to make her happy and then you're out of there. You're not getting to bog down in all of the, but also, yeah, like, let's do, like I would love for you to just do some, I don't know. What Jackie's talking about, some breathing techniques, some zen-centering because there's plenty of like, you know, happy assholes who don't get torn to sundaure after they take a family photo. And then there's plenty that do. It's really not the photo. But also, you know, you know Photoshop. So if you really feel that way at the end of the day, you can take them out. You can take yourself out of the photo. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like there are ways that you can work around this. I appreciate this though because, you know, these kind of things provide a lot of anxiety

for a lot of people. And not everybody is used to being in front of a camera, not everybody's used to just being perceived. And so it's completely understandable to feel this way, even if it's like, it's probably just a photo that's going up on her wall. Let's be real. Is she really gonna take it somewhere? Yeah, I don't think it's gonna get posted. I mean, maybe it'll get posted to some Facebook, but like, who's friends with her? You know, like, but like, who's gonna see? I think moms want to do this kind of thing. Like, like, because they want to like show off their families. They're proud of their kids. They're proud of who they've married. They're proud of their families. And they want to like, you know, have a photo of it, have a memory of it, and also take it to the world. Look at my beautiful family. I have this, you know? Yeah. And I think that it is bitchy to pressure someone into something they don't want to do, but you've admitted that you like this woman and you'd like, you're probably going to do it. So I'm saying, let's mitigate how long you have to be there. And try to just do it with as much of like any kind of positive energy because also you showing up just being like,

you're not fucking here. That's also not going to do anything either. Yeah. So it's like, you got to get yourself psyched yourself up for a place of like, get in it. All right, get your bread in the game. You can do this, Dana. We know you can. All right, let's get to our last voicemail. Last voicemail. Thank you for calling, who's bitch. Tell us in the voicemail, who's bitch. Hey, ladies, I wish I had an amazing opening. I guess this is where I share that I know Kara from that messed up first and Jackie's fucking it. I accept. Who cares? Who cares? Who cares? We're all together now. And I have a lot of situations to be honest, but this is tonight. I was in a very severe car accident a few weeks ago.

I'm okay. I'm okay. But like, I was concussed. I was unconscious when the ambulance, like, guys, were there and it was pretty major. I told all of my car. I'm healing. I'm doing all the things. But I also have to listen to my body, whatever. So I have a friend who last night invited me to, or not last night, but like yesterday morning, invited me to a show. And I've been laid off for about a year and was like, yeah, because I, that's one of my things that I've been cutting out of my budget. It's going to live music. And we work out a barter system where, you know, I'm like, yeah, and then I'll help you do something else and I'll help you clean your house, whatever, you know, right.

And so today, this is very typical of her. She changes plans of the last minute. Not significant enough to ever get mad at her, but tonight was a first. She's like, in the plan, she looks me at 5.30. I am going places via bus right now because my car is totaled. I'm also in so much pain and all this shit that I don't have another car yet. I'm, you know, I'm working this out. It just happened. And so she changes the plans to meet like an hour later. And I had planned my whole bus schedule out. So and part of that was stopping to eat food before I got there because I don't want

to pay the prices of food at the venue. And we have a good bus system. We have a great bus system, but it just so happens that one of the buses I needed to take was not a free point one. Okay. So I told her no problem blah, blah, blah. And then a half hour later, I said, you know what? This isn't going to work for me. And I thought because it was last minute, she wouldn't care. The invite was last minute. Also I should include that she said, I was going to take a date by dot, dot, dot. You know what I mean? It was just like a last minute inclusion. Sure. And so I just was like, you know what? I'm actually not feeling good. I'm still in a lot of pain for my accident. I really wanted to make it work. And then she changed it to be a little bit later. And she set me the ticket.

Mind you. So I could go at the right time and still go. But I just, I don't know. I didn't heal genuine of an invite. And I also wasn't feeling good. So I just was like, I know I have to go home and go to bed. And I did. I went home. I went to bed for like four hours on a Friday night. Damn. Um, what time is it now? It's a good 11. I slept. You may be pretty. Anyway, she's mad at me. She said don't text me. And I'm just like, am I the bitch? Because I can't feel is she the bitch for a last minute inviting and then being mad at me for canceling last minute, which would be fair. I think I'm both the bitch, actually. Anyway. Um, this person is important to me. And um, it just hurts my feelings.

I will also say when I got in the car accident, she's one of my only friends at the bike rack under her. And I said, asked her if she could take help me because she's like, how can I help? That's what people do. And I said, can you get me to the bike shop so I can get a tune up so I can start riding my bike more? And she was like, oh, I'll see. I'm so busy dating guys right now. I'm like, okay, I'm happy for her. She hasn't dated in a while. No hard feelings there. But just the fact that she offered to help me with something and then couldn't help me with the thing. And then one week later, invites me to a show last minute. And then it's mad at me when I have to actually cancel last minute. So that's the situation. Bitches. Um, love you, bye. I straight up be like, I was in a huge car accident last week. What are you talking about? Yeah, I can't take multiple buses to go to the show.

Done. I don't know. Like, I'm immediately just like, she was ready to take the multiple buses to go to the show before she changed the plan. The plane changed. And like, I feel like this is why I don't think that the person that is upset with you that invited you to the show. I don't think that they should be upset. Like I just, you didn't buy these tickets for the person calling in. This was not something that you hinged everything on. You said you bought them for someone else. You were going to go with somebody else. And now at the last minute after you changed the plans, now those plans don't work for me anymore. And you're upset with me about it. This is piss me the fuck off. This is piss me off. I feel a little bit differently. Really? Because let me say, she asked her the day before. So if she had said no right away, this person would have had 24 hours to find a new friend to go to this concert with her. Sure. Now it's 30 minutes, but now it's like an hour before and she's like, I'm not going to go. And so pushing all the plans at the last second, she pushed, she pushed the plans by

an hour, which I do agree is annoying as hell. But she also sent you the ticket. So you could go and do the plan exactly as originally. And go in. Yes. And you bailed was more like you weren't feeling like considered by her. Like you felt like it was like a last minute invite that this friend has offered to help you for stuff and then hasn't. And then she just like didn't even consider that you are in pain and working with public transportation. And they just pushed it an hour back. Like I think you canceled because she's like annoying you. Yeah. And not necessarily because like you couldn't make the show because you've just literally done the show exactly as planned. And she would have shown up an hour, 45 minutes to an hour or whatever after and see you there. You know, and you would have gotten your food. Like you wanted you would have gone to see live music. And then you would have just like had your companion join you a little bit later. It's not like she was like, well, I have the tickets. So you're just kept to wait. Right. By fountain for an hour. Yes.

And I would have been like, fuck that. That's not for me. And it sounds like it was all set for you to do it as originally planned. So I don't know that like necessarily her pushing the planet feels like her pushing the plan is on top of you just feeling like you're sort of an afterthought for her. You're like the last minute, you know, and it doesn't seem important to you. That's a thing though. The caller in has said that this person is important to them. And if they felt that way about you, you really should have been considered more. I feel personally, if I had a fairly good friend and I invited them last minute to something and I knew that they had just been in a car accident that they were, they were knocked unconscious and that their car has been impounded. I'd probably also offered to pick them up if I could or figures out something like that to like help them out a little bit. And I, I know that it's not on your friend to have to do all of those things. I just maybe we're just more considerate of friends than this friend is to you.

But I understand and I feel that you are valid in feeling pissy about it. Yeah. And I don't like when people change plans last minute either. I'm not like saying, oh, it's like no big deal that she changed plans last minute. She does that all the time too. That's annoying. I'm just saying it feels to me like you were canceling for a different reason than just the hour pushback because everything else was in place and you've had it all planned out and it was all ready to go. And it's one hour. It's not, I mean, if it hadn't been two, I would have been like, and I think you could have easily said to like, okay, I'm like really looking to see, I'm really looking forward to seeing you and like hanging out at the show together. Right. And just because of my pain level, whatever right now, like I don't know how long I can stand. I can stand out. I can stand out. On the other hand, if you literally just felt like, oh God, I took too much on last minute and I can't go, she should understand that. But that doesn't feel to me the reason why you canceled. Right. I also would love you to be strictly about pain. And you know, that doesn't feel to me why you can't.

Of like what you, what you told to her that like made her so angry. Like I would love to see the text interchange to have like the exchange to see what like how the pop off happened. You know what I mean? And how you explained where you were at. Yeah. I remember that she sent like a second voice. She had a second voice mail with like more extra. Oh, and for context, they're in their late 40s, both of these friends. So she wanted to like point out like we're not like young 20-somethings screwing each other over for like, I mean, it sounds like from what you're saying, you feel also like she's sort of being a little bit like she's reaching out to ask if she can help, but then not helping. She's asking you for plans, but only when guys aren't available. You know, like she's definitely putting you second. And I think you guys have to talk about this like, I have to be like, hey, listen, I'm

sorry if I canceled on you last minute and like screwed up your plans and you could have asked someone else to go to the show with you. Like it was nice of you to offer me the ticket and allow me to barter with you or whatever for the ticket instead of pay for it. However, I feel like maybe for me, it's been like just sort of a build up of a few different things. You're really important to me. And I guess I don't like I'm as important to you. I'm important to you. Yeah. Like you're choosing like dating and men and like your own schedule and this and that over me when I'm feeling super vulnerable right now when I just had this serious car accident my body's in pain. Yeah. That's definitely like an emotional mind fuck when that happened like a big accident like that happens. And of course, I just want to feel like I can rely on you. And I felt like I'm an afterthought and that I'm not and that you're like putting everything before me. Yeah, I would say especially I think that this I think this merits a big old conversation

with it because it doesn't seem like you're anywhere near the place of like, oh, I don't want to talk to this person anymore. So definitely talk through this. I understand what you're upset. I I I I imagine to I'm trying to put myself in her place to I would probably also be upset if it were last minute. But I would probably I would hope I would have given you a little bit more grace considering what you've been going through recently. But yeah, you know, maybe sometimes a friend needs to be reminded of that. And that's okay. I think she's like a little reminder like I've had this massive thing happen to me and also I don't really, you know, like feel like you've been there for me. Yeah. And there's nothing wrong with sharing that. Yeah. Especially doing the whole like how I feel about stuff. Not what you're doing. And it's about how I feel about all that remember we got to have our therapy speak in there. Y'all. Yeah. I feel you know, I really let us know how it goes.

And if you guys talk it out and where you guys end up. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, because I mean, yeah, I want you to heal and I don't want you to push yourself to go to stuff. But it sounds like you were excited about doing this all up until she just pushed the plan an hour and not just like kind of through you. And you didn't feel like the invite was genuine. Right. You feel like the invite was genuine before the hour push back. Right. Because you were ready to go and you planned everything out and so many questions. Yeah. I think to I think, you know, obviously as always communication, new Merot Uno always is with everybody with co-workers with friends with partners with everybody.
