18年期間拍了100多部電影、創造台灣電影奇蹟，戲稱自己「人生如喜劇」的朱延平導演來說故事啦！回首80年代，朱導電影票房連續大賣，無人不曉；卻也因此被黑道相中，經歷了一段不喜拍戲的時光。但走過之後他感慨又感激——「黑道兄弟是我的動力」，若不是在如此急迫的拍攝環境下，他不可能練就一身臨場發揮的技能、不可能有今天的朱延平。與電影有著解不開的緣份，電影界終身義工的朱導表示「我做了最棒的事情，就是我啥也沒做！」
