「癌症治療，不應該是一場苦行，疼痛也不是只能默默咬牙忍受。」這集邀請放射腫瘤科王裕仁醫師，以及全癌連理事、陪病家屬 Karen，一起帶我們走進這段不簡單的醫病與陪病經驗。當身體不舒服時，勇敢說出來、勇敢止痛，是治療很重要的一步。王醫師分享到，很多癌友未必知道，便祕有時可能是止痛藥造成的副作用，但這類情況其實都有專業可以協助處理，不需要硬忍或自行減少用藥，讓狀況變得更棘手。Karen 則分享，陪伴癌友最重要的，是把腫瘤看成生命中的一小部分，而不是全部。當癌友、家屬與醫療團隊一起合作，專注於 99% 仍然健康的細胞，治療就不只是延續生命的長度，更是在有限的日子裡，活出寬度、日常與尊嚴。
