以往高中分成自然組跟社會組，現在教育制度不斷改變，在大學端的各校系，分成18學群，18學群再分成學類，之後是各大學學系。
高中端來說，則以班群分組，取代過去的四個類組，這些專有名詞，身為家長的您，在孩子進入中學就讀，就要開始了解，協助孩子探索興趣及專長，進而培養學習歷程。
