「排場」vs 「出陣」
八音班的演出型態主要有兩種，
一是靜態的演奏型態稱為「排場」，
大多由團員們圍繞著一張桌子而坐，
桌上放置樂器、擴音器演出。
另一種動態演奏型態稱為「出陣」，
是以步行或乘車進行演奏」，像是婚禮的迎親、送嫁，
廟會的迎神、出巡，都是以行進方式演奏。
