We caught up with Roberto in Santo Domingo following his performance at this year’s Isle of Light Festival, and went for breakfast and laughed our asses off. We’re talking the making of his most recent record Far In, as well as details about his upcoming album, growing up in South Florida, his animation work at Cartoon Network, and the duality of subtlety and restraint within his art.
