Well, I mean, way out in the woods it was a hunting camp before it was. I'm sitting out here and I'm playing with the old dog that's out there. I don't know. I just happen to look up and this is probably, I don't know, it might be like 50 yards away, you know, at the closest, I guess. Down on the old road, I'm looking down this old road. You know, I see something down there. It's like, you know, it's like maybe black, maybe a real dark brown. And the dog immediately, he just took off and he goes over the house. And I guess when we're in the house, he bumped his hair or something, made rackets, you know, and they opened up the door, you know, you're okay, I dare you, yeah, okay, you know, and whatever shut the door, you know, and he's still standing there and we're looking at each other.

2:15I'd like to welcome Steven Country Jones to the podcast. Do you go by Steve Steven or country? Whatever they call me. Yeah, you want to be careful putting that out there. I've been, I've been called some things before. I have to. Why, no matter. How'd you get the nickname country? Oh, it was just a name I had a long time ago when I drove trucks. And that was like my handle on the CB and then people started calling me that. So, okay. Facebook has one of their weird things. Text your page down. I lose all my pictures and everything I had on there. So then I just went in one day and I changed the name and I said, oh, I'm with you. My nickname then. Well, how did you find your way into the Bigfoot world? Well, I don't know. It's, it's one of the things I've kind of been into my whole life and been

3:17looking around and not really been involved with people and, and you know, hadn't went to semi-arge or anything. Listen to anybody speak and I start listening to people speak and indulging places here to take the past, to make years, I guess. Yeah. I was always too busy. I was working and I couldn't do any glaze really. But are you actively doing like, I hate to use the term research but out looking for these things? Yeah, I do. You know, sometimes I'm like, I mean, I run up to up in the national boards and go up in the hills of Kusache, you know, all the time. And usually when I'm up there, I go do what I got to do. I go up there and go to the springs and get orders. One thing I do, and I, when I'm up there, usually I'll ride around and look and and stuff. Sometimes I see things, sometimes I see tracks, sometimes I see absolutely nothing. And I think a lot of it depends on the weather too, you know. I've noticed a lot of things, and weather controls a lot of, you know, and late in the evening, you know, the early part of the

4:20morning, I come up, I mean, I just get a better chance of seeing something then and then it was in the middle of the day. So I try not to be up there in the dark. I don't like to drive it dark. It dark time me more. So I'm going to ask you this question. This is something that I've heard over the years. And I think you're in a place to answer it as good as anybody. What does something that big and covered in hair do whenever it gets 110 degrees out in the swamps with the ticks and everything else going on? How do you think they cope with that? You know, normally we have a lot of water around here and there's places where we do have water. I'm sure they get the water a lot, but you know, I've thought about that before too, and I think probably the hair helps keep them cool. You know, it probably retains moisture and helps keep them cool. You know, you see a lot of other animals, you know, rolling around in the mud and stuff to kind

5:22of keep things off of them and keep cool. And I don't know if it's this way there. Do you notice the activity and everything kind of slowing down whenever it gets real hot? I don't know a lot. I have seen it before. I've actually found places in some of our, you know, some of our research in some of the places we've gone before around, you know, just down here now. I have seen places where, you know, I see it look like something hairy wallered in the mud, you know, and rolling around. And that was too big to be a hog. And usually hog is going to carry everything up anyway. And when I was torn up, it's like there's something rolled in and mashed it down. You know, he does. It's so merry. Do you ever see big hollowed out areas in the creek banks? Sometimes I do. And sometimes I've even found some nests before. And he's nestered huge. There's a picture of me laying in one. It's a lot bigger than me. Laying in that nest. You know, it's like a big bird nest or something, you know,

6:23you can tell it was built by something because there's pine straw and leaves and stuff. And there is no pine straw leaves around, you know. It looks like it'd be a good bed, you know. I mean, I don't think one of the things some person done it, you know. Yeah, I remember one time, the people that I used to run around with. I wasn't there at the time, but they talked about finding a very similar structure to that. It looked like a big old bird nest that was actually built into, it was an old man in house. I'm not going to say where. And the floor was kind of broken out of it. And you know, it had like the crawl space and everything. So there was a gap there between the floor and the ground and this nest was kind of built in that hole. And they said, you know, it was a good, you know, eight to 10 foot across. So I, I mean, I don't know what would do that. Yeah. And I found, you know, not really good tracks before,

7:25which I'm not, you know, warring in the mud. No, I have seen like maybe two foot bridge or maybe one foot bridge would be a good one. And after that, I'd never seen any more tracks. Yeah. So, you can't follow the tracks and see where they go. You know, yeah. I mean, if you get consistent tracks sometimes, it's same like you could, you could get a little closer. But, you know, whenever I see a track, it'd be like one foot print in a ditch or something, you know, we're we're around the mud hole. Do you think they know that they're leaving tracks? Yeah, they leave tracks. But, you know, we got a lot of hard ground here. And especially, you know, it drives it is right now. Yeah. It's hard to leave a track right down. If anything, even doesn't leave a track. There were hard ground has a lot to do with it. There may be an area that they come through that was kind of soft. And then, you know, they step up on the bank or something and they're out of it. And they're back in hard ground again. You won't see no tracks. Yeah. Tracks is something. Sometimes it's, it all depends, you know, it's hard to see tracks. Whenever you were a young and that's whenever all this first

8:27started for you, do you mind telling that story about when you discovered that big foot was out there running around? When I was a kid, I don't know. I think it was, I probably wasn't in kindergarten yet. I mean, I was like four or five years old, you know, my dad, he would work sometimes. He didn't have a real heavy work schedule or anything. It worked. And so, he'd go west around and chase women during the day and everything. And I go ride with him, you know, whenever I'd get there, you know, a lot of times, I'd stay outside the house. Okay, we couldn't go in the house today. And I'd stay outside. Yeah. You know, they had dogs or something other. I'd stay around outside and play with their dogs and whatever. You know, and well, I went to this place one time. I mean, it was out in the woods. Well, I mean, way out in the woods, it was a hunting campus where it was. And there was, there was some woman living there, you know, he goes to see. I'm sitting out here and I'm playing with the old dog that's out there. And

9:30playing with the dog, you know, and I don't know. I just happened to look up and this is probably I don't know. It might be like 50 yards away, you know, at the closest, I guess, down an old road. I'm looking down this old road. And, you know, I see something down there. It's like, you know, like maybe black, maybe a real dark brown. And I'm looking at it. And the dog immediately, he just took off and he goes over the house. And I guess when we're in the house, he bumped his air, something made rackets, you know, and they opened up the door. You know, you're okay, I'd there. Yeah, okay, you know, and whatever set the door, you know, and he's still standing there. And then we're looking at each other. And then finally, he leaves, you know, and then wherever we left the place, I was still looking down the road. You know, hey, well, you see a deer down there, and I was, yeah, you know, whatever, you know, getting a truck and leaving. I don't even, I don't remember when this was. Do I know it was probably maybe a couple of years later,

10:33was when the, uh, that movie came out about the boggy creek, creature boggy creek, you know, yeah. And then, you know, I started looking at things a lot more than, you know, I was a little older and people talking about Bigfoot and all, you know, I'm like, oh, okay, that's what I saw. You know, I really didn't know what I'd seen when I was a kid. I never heard Bigfoot before anything. Really, the movie kind of started all that for me. You know, after that, I still kind of close to us, you know, the part of Arkansas is close to Oklahoma and, and Louisiana and all, you know, it's still close. And there's a lot of stories from around the area here, of things strange thing that people seeing. I've seen some strange stuff before, you know, seeing something, I see stuff crossing a road, you know, and I don't know what it is, you know, it's about time it's fast. You don't know it goes across the fast. You know, you think, you know, I'm able to deer or something, you know, but the colors are wrong. But now that one you saw in the road like that, whenever you saw it,

11:36you obviously didn't recognize exactly what it was. Yeah, I didn't know what it was. I mean, I was a little kid and I didn't really recognize what it was. You know, I didn't really know anything about them, you know, hearing them, I say they're my big flittery thing, you know, yeah, a lot of the old people around here, they used to call them boogers. Yeah, same here. He's like, okay, that's all booger, whatever you're in. Did you think it was a man or an animal? I didn't really know. I mean, I couldn't tell if it was a man. I mean, it stood straight up, like a man, you know, and I mean, I'm just a little kid, you know, but still I'm saying, you know, we all go hopper. Some may be wearing all that today. You know, yeah. And you think the dog instantly recognized what it was. That dog knew what was going because he, I mean, he left there. He ran out of the house and he was hiding in the house and didn't come back out. Didn't want to have nothing to do with it. Yeah, he was nothing to do with whatever it was. And then I guess maybe, I don't know, maybe a year or two after that after the movie came out, then I had another loop incident that happened. We used to ride motorcycles a lot. Go up in the

12:43wilderness and ride motorcycles and all them. And you know, sometimes you're riding down a trail, you know, and you get the others are way behind or you're way behind them or something, you know, my dad, he was going to play this trick on somebody and he's going to come out and splash mud all over or something, you know, whatever he's like, you know, I got something to do, you know, so I just keep on going up the trail. And I get up, maybe a hundred yards from here or so. I don't know. I mean, I'm outside of him anyway, you know, I didn't go on over the hill and going down for a creek, you know, a big, big swampy creek. It's always pretty bad in there. Lots of mud. And then you know, I'm looking at it and I see something in the bushes and moving, you know, and then then I notice whatever it was, it looked like it stood up. You know, I was like, oh, no, you know, what have I done seen now? You know, I'm thinking, right, reddit first, I mean, you know, it's a bear or a hog or something, you know, but then hackers stood up. I said, oh, no, I said,

13:47that ain't no hog, you know, and ain't no bear. And it was pretty tall. And they just kind of like, looked at me and ran off. I mean, all this just happened just in a couple of split seconds. And then I was stopped on my back there. And then my dad came up and he said, what are you doing? You're waiting on us? And I said, no, I said, I just seen something. I said, look like big foot or something. I said, I don't know what it was. It's all you don't know what you're talking about or something other or whatever, you know, and he goes off on, he just takes off and I'm following them, you know, and then when he got up to about where I seen it, then we see it's trash was in the mud, you know, as I don't know, he was like, he was there getting water or something like he was, you know, I think as what he was doing, he was getting water out of the creek. You know, that was right. I mean, this was right in the middle of the day, but it wasn't, it wasn't cold weather. I mean, it was winter time, but it wasn't cold weather. Yeah. You know, so it was clear or weather, but without you recoup or weather, you know, we recoup or weather for us. You know, we could still, you know, it still gets warm though. Yeah. But you guys were riding motorcycles and it's, you know, daytime. So he must have not cared too much that you were there. Yeah. And I mean, we was pretty far into the forest too, when that happened. So you did not a lot of activity around the area where was that? Now, do people around there is it common for them to have bookers come on their property and stuff? Yeah, there's all kind of stories about that, you know, and people seeing this and seeing that,

15:53you know, and then, I mean, there's a couple of them whenever, you know, doing some investigation usually I try to go during the cooler times of the year and maybe cap or build a big fire or something set up all night, you know, and just look around, but there's going a few incidents that's happened to run the area here and there was somebody who would claim they hit one with her car not too long ago and we got some hair and some blood and all. I don't know whatever would become of that. I don't know one of the other guys got it was supposed to get some DNA off of it. I don't know whatever happened with that, but she claims she hit one with her car, but she may just be telling the story. I don't know. Right. I worked out here. I worked on folk is what I've done and we had a guy one night that oh, he still swears up and down. I hit a big foot. I hit a big foot. He was supposed to go run across the radius and deliver something and come right back and it's like then they started

16:55college work. You know, where are you at? You never ate or anything. And if I don't risk again coming back up the road, you're like, okay, you know, maybe you're ready old batters up and you know, a radio went out and he comes back and the front of the truck had looked like he hit a tree, but there was his hand front in the hood that we've all been in. Wow. And he swears up and down. Well, I had a big foot. You know, when the guy was telling him what the boss was, I actually telling him said, no, you don't tell him that said that we can right on the report right that you're got to tell him get a horse. Not only wasn't no horse and finally, you know, he ended up talking some sense into him talking right into the get a horse and then I know the next day then this would be a night and this is probably like two or three o'clock in the morning when this happens. And then by the time the sun came up, there was game wardens out. They was out there and they was looking for this horse that had been hit.

17:57And one of the game wardens, they had to come by our little office to go into the ranges, you know, and I know when they come out and then one of the game wardens, he come out, he come out first, he come out before about he helped you and he just sat in there and we were talking. He said, I ain't going in there no more. And I said, where would you at? And he said, well, I was where y'all told me to go. And he said, I went walking down in this canyon and said, it's pretty sticking there. You know, I said, it goes down and said, it's pretty deep in the canyon. He said, there was something in there in their growled at me and he said, I had to leave. I don't know, I'm scared. And he knows what it was. It's scary. But are there a lot of reports from around the military base? Oh, there's a few. There is a few. There are a few people that has told their stories before, you know, and other people, they just don't ever say anything. And I said, well, you know, that was whatever, you know, it was something else. And, you know, they don't want to believe what they what they seeing, you know. But there are some stories around. There's a few out there

18:59that I've heard. And there's a there is a guy here that he claims that when he was while he was at peace on his way, was that was another firing range they have. And he claimed that they, I don't remember for something happened anyway. Yeah, I know what it was. They said there was a big foot that got injured when during that was they were firing on the ranges. And then many had to go look for it. They made him go look for it. So his company, another company was out looking for and the ones in the other company, he said they actually tracked it down and finished killing it. Oh, wow. And so he said, I didn't see it, but he said, they all told that, but he said, after that said, we had to go to our briefing after that. They told us, don't say nothing to nobody. Did he happen to say what they did with the body? I didn't hear no more about it. He didn't really know. I'm sure somebody recovered it. I'm sure there was some wildlife officials or somebody

20:01there somewhere that got it. Why do you think they keep it a secret? I don't know. I think I think really I think the governments know about them for a long time and they don't us to know about it because they're trying to learn some of their secrets. You know, it was for nothing, but some secrets that they can develop into something to use for shoulders. You know, right. That was kind of one of the first things that I thought of whenever I got involved in all this and how deciding I was like, well, shoot if I can have a sighting, there ain't no way that the government don't know. These things are out there. You know, in Oklahoma there, whenever I go to Oklahoma, I'm going to go up and ride the K trail. You know, we'll ride the K trail for a ways and camp and listen all night, you know, whatever mess around the next day and get up and go some more, you know, and there's an area there they call Area X, which is see what do they call that highway 425 or whatever, you know, and then

21:07part of it's still national forest and part of it is like a wildlife management area in there. So it's all pretty, you know, pretty much public land, but there's not a lot of people goes in there and they call that Area X, you know, and we sit there and we're sitting around a fire and we're telling stories and talking and somebody's mentioning, yeah, there's a compound up here, you know, that the government's got and they won't let nobody get near it. We don't know what they do, you know, I would have better try to find that before and I can't find that, but he could just probably just talking some, talking some crap, you know, they don't put out all their information. So whenever they've got something that seems kind of suspicious, people start filling in their own stories for it. And more than likely, he didn't, he didn't see it either, he probably heard it from somebody else, just like you're saying, they put out, they put their own little part to it and he goes, but these other parts do it. Yeah, now I have definitely seen

22:08some areas where the Corps of Engineers or somebody like that had fenced off what just looks like woods to me. And I mean, I don't know why they would do that, but they gated off and, you know, they've got signs posted all over the gate, you know, don't trespass, federal property and all this, you'll be shot and fined and jailed and your dog will get kicked and anything else we can do to you. And I've been up to a couple of those vegetables before off the cake trail, I just, there would be like a little road or something going in there, you know, and I said, well, we're good on this road for a little ways, you know, and I go and there's a big fence in there. So no trespassing and all this, you know, government property and violators are going to be arrested and whatever you have. I didn't turn around. I don't know why this is here. Yeah. Now there's a lot of sightings around military bases just in general. Do you think that's by design as in those military bases or in those locations for a reason?

23:12I don't know. I thought about that or maybe they actually have some big puts and they turn them loose. I don't know. I mean, I don't, I interviewed that out, but there's somebody on YouTube and he tells all the stories about all the military bases that he's been to and there's always some story on some military bases about some creature, you know. Yeah. How do you hear reports of things besides Bigfoot? Not really. I mean, I heard of people. There were some strange happening. I see this and I see that. One guy said, oh, no, it looked like a big monkey man. I don't know what it was. The big monkey man. He jumped on top of the building and on and we all rode. You know, so any dog man reports from the area? Yeah, there is some dog man reports. But a lot of this stuff that people has been talking about, I think sometimes they're just, and they may say it's Bigfoot or something that they've seen and they heard of it to be a dog man.

24:14And then, you know, nearby there will be a cemetery or there's a big cemetery there. They was in and they don't lock them there, you know. Yeah. Do you think dog man is a thing like Bigfoot or do you think it's something maybe paranormal? It's probably more paranormal because I know I've been some of our research before and we have got on that subject before dog man and you know, it's like you hardly ever, like I think one time, yeah, one time we seen some tracks and it's feet didn't, it didn't look like, it didn't look like any kind of like a Bigfoot look, you know, like human foot. It looked more like like a big, huge alligator foot, you know. Yeah. It was just like three toes, you know. I had somebody else on the show that saw those same type tracks up in Pennsylvania, purely by accident found them and I saw pictures of the tracks and they

25:16were out on a sand bar on a creek and yeah, I don't know what's leaving those tracks around. And like in the places where they're at, I know there ain't no gator living there, you know. Yeah, well this was up in Pennsylvania. Yeah. Are the reports you're hearing that you encounter the most? Are they like road crossings or just chance encounters? Do you ever hear any intentional things? Yeah, road crosses and change encounters and they get to tell them a story, some kind of of an encounter, you know, and you know, they're telling, you know, I mean, all the mackle that chain is, you know, they're raven mistaken, you know, they're mistaken of the water quality. I just said it's a big foot, you know, and I they keep telling their story, you know, and I'm missing it. That's probably a dog man, you know, or well, let's start saying, you know, he's got a, he's got a, you know, like a human face or like a monkey or anything. His face looked more like a dog, you know, you had a longer nose and all, you know, and that, you know, so, you know, they start

26:20kind of described things like that, you know, that automatically I start thinking dog man, you know, they start telling them about some differences, but there's an old newspaper article that was done in the local newspaper here, and I don't know, I think it was in the early 80s when it was, but there was somebody driving down, I don't know, Highway 36 or 63 or whatever it was, one of the highways anyway, and they hit something and killed it. Well, they couldn't figure out what it was, and they even called the police and said, look, I've tore up my car and I just hit something, I don't know what it is, and the police come out, you know, and done a report, fix your car and get it towed, and they came figure out what it was, and there's some pictures of it. And so the police actually sent some of the DNA off to LSU Medical Center, and then, you know, they didn't even know what it was. In fact, they did DNA, so that was the dog man of deretter, I think, is what it is in

There's been a few instances over the years like that where people will actually get their hands on some stuff that they can send off for testing, and then you just never really hear what comes of it, it just kind of vanishes. Yeah, and some of the guys that I go with sometime in Campano and they claim one veterinary they was using it, but I actually look at it and test it for them, claim that she moved out of state, said the government got after her about some stuff. And then whenever he found her again and went back to where she was still, you know, practicing medicine at and talk during. She said, I can't do that no more. I'm not allowed to do that no more. Wow. And that was always ever told about it. So

29:30shut her down. Yeah, she got shut down. She moved from she went from Louisiana like northern part of Louisiana. She went over into counting Arkansas somewhere now. Now do you hear about any aggressive reports or attacks of any kind? I don't remember hear about any attacks. You know, people getting scared, they think you're attacked, but you're scared to don't mean you're attacked. Right. It was kind of like, you know, down there where you're talking about around area X, I, you know, I always heard about, oh, the big footer way more aggressive down there and you got to be careful in all this. And that wasn't my experience. And I don't know anybody that's really experienced that. I had never had that happen either. And then the only time was we had this is kind of funny going away because I went over to Alabama one time. There's a place over

30:32there. It's like a big wildlife management area called Geneva State Park. And there's an old road in there. They call it Arnbridge Road, but the road is closed. You can only go down to the Arnbridge and that's it. The Arnbridge, somebody's built a fire or something like that one time and burned all the wood out of it. Well, the last time I was there, it may be fixed by now. But this was years ago when I went down there. And that we kept getting some porch from a lady that she's seen a monkey. She's seen a monkey, you know, so okay, you know, once that was we went over and we camped and we spent the night on that Arnbridge. And we're kind of staying awake and watching and looking and looking through night vision and all which the night vision we had back came on as good as it is now. But, you know, you think you see something you don't really know and whatever that may be something, you know, we don't quite know, you know, and some start throwing

31:35rocks at us. And we know it was throwing rocks, we were hearing rocks. It was hitting the Arn of the bridge, you know. And then the next day, the end, we got a report, we heard on the radio said that they caught it at Skate Gorilla. And then I always thought that was kind of fine because they was out looking and they actually caught a gorilla. You know, here we had the experience. We had something was doing rocks at us and there's so far apart though that I don't think it was the same animal. But they really they really had an actual gorilla on the loose. And it was actually a gorilla, yep. There was some zoo I think in Florida. They was afraid that the hurricane was going to kill them or something and somebody did open the mutton that all the animals out. Well, now that you said that, that kind of rings a bell. Yeah, it seems like I kind of remember hearing about that. There was a local newspaper that actually did a story on that, too.

32:36And they show up pictures of the gorilla that they captured. But I mean, the gorilla was all general. I mean, he wasn't even violent or anything. It didn't do anything. He's always been raised in captivity. There he was pretty general. He wasn't really wild or anything. But I mean, he can be general if I went to a gorilla out in the woods. Yeah, it's going to be a man eater in my eyes. When I and and here, I mean, you know, there's people before they'd say, oh, I see a monkey, you know, I see a gorilla or something in the woods, you know. And you know, you think about it like, you know, monkeys and gorillas. We really don't have any food for them. You know, what are they living off of? Yeah. You know, something's going to have to they're going to have to be a meat eater. You know, they're going to eat squirrels and rabbits and birds and deer and whatever. You know, they're going to not they're going to not to eat while game. And we don't have

33:36that many edible clay. We don't have coconut trees and banana trees to stuff, you know. Right. And I would imagine that I mean, it would take them a while to figure out how to hunt, you know, to catch the meat. I know that, you know, chimps, hunting groups, they they will go after animals sometimes, but, you know, they use team work to catch them. I don't think gorillas really go after meat all that much. They'd probably eat it if they had it. But usually they're just sitting around non on edible plants. What what do you think the big foot do? Oh, I know they they probably do eat meat. I mean, they're doing places before in the woods when I'm hunting or either doing some research and I come across areas where there's all kind of bones that, you know, it looks like there's some kind of it looks like a dining room. You can say, you know, where substance come and brought stuff to eat, you know, and there is more and more than one deer. Even there'd be bones around, you know, do you think they still deer from hunters? It's possible if you say you shoot a

34:41deer and he's wounded and he's laying their diet and they come across the thing. They would probably get it. You know, then people always lose deer all the time when they sheep deer. So yeah, you're probably right about that. They probably do. It's an opportunity, you know, for some food. So that seems to be the key to them. They're extremely opportunistic. If they if they've got a chance because I mean, you hear everything from them chasing down and killing deer and eating road kill and even doing a little dumpster diving. Yeah. Yep, that was fine. You someone that it claimed they seen him in a dumpster before, you know. She worked at Walmart and worked at night and she'd have to go take out all the trash claims. She's seen one in a dumpster behind Walmart. Yeah, behind Walmart. She's after that. So that don't take out the trash anymore. See, she might have seen some

35:42or maybe that's her excuse for she ain't got to work. I don't know. But you know, the Walmart story all around it is all woods all around it. There's a big wildlife management area there. You know, it's all big woods around it. So they ain't like a really doubtful story. That could be true. Yeah. And somewhere or another it could be true. Have you heard any reports about them swimming? Yeah, I heard a lot of people say that they've seen them before in the water. And you know, or they they'd be like in some secluded coves somewhere in the lake, you know. And they would see something there, you know. I know it seems like I'm asking a bunch of random questions. But that's because I mean, you're from a part of the country that I'm kind of familiar with. And these are some of the things that we used to always hear about, you know, people reporting that you don't really hear a lot of people talking about. Like, you don't hear a lot of reports from the Pacific Northwest of them talking about them swimming. But you hear

36:43quite a bit down in the South. Yeah. And that's, you know, back in the very part of our conversation, we tell them that someone with long hair. I think that's how they stay cooler. Their hair probably retains moisture. And they go take a swim or whatever and they're good for the day then, you know. Yeah. And their hair just retains the moisture. Do you think there's anything paranormal to them? I don't know. I don't I don't think so. Dog men, I would say yes, but but the big foot, no, he's just, I tell you, I think it's just something that's smart and knows how to stay away from people. Have you seen or encountered anything that you thought was paranormal while looking for bigfoot? No, not really. I mean, I mean, I've had feelings. It might be, you know, but I didn't put much thought into it. You know, it'd be in paranormal, but yeah. You know, it's like with a dog man,

37:43you know, I've, you know, I've had these feelings and all before in the woods. It's something's looking at you and watching you, you know, and you know, somewhere around the burial ground, you know, there's a lot of native burial grounds around here. That's where a lot of these stories originated with a dog bit. And you're around, you know, you feel there's something watching you or something, but I never, I've never seen anything. So they would say, I'd say it's a dog man, you know. Yeah. Have you had any orb sightings? No, I haven't. And somebody in the group one time had had recorded something they claimed was an orb, you know, and you know, where'd you, where'd you see that at? You know, where'd you be in that at? And then they would tell me nothing on it. So I don't know if they, I, maybe suddenly they faked. I don't know because I mean, I'm not like really a skeptic. I'm just a

38:43skeptic of what a lot of people record, you know, and they say, well, you know, this is what I saw, you know, and you know, the recording might be made up, you know, and fake, you know, but well, I mean, it happens a lot. Unfortunately, I don't know, never really understood the, the motivation behind it, I guess, just to get attention and say that you had some sort of experience, but I know that people talk about orbs a lot these days in relation to bigfoot stuff, but I mean, whenever I was out there, I never saw any orbs or anything not saying that they don't exist. I know people that have seen them that I'd completely trust. It's just not something that I've experienced. And I always had to kind of experience things for myself. 40:46seeing stars in our door, either. Yeah, I mean, I've never experienced a thing with Orbs. I know other people has cramed they have, you know, and like I said, that one even had some video. They never were telling where it was at or anything like they're trying to keep their places secret, but there really ain't no place that is a secret. But yeah, that's another thing is the keeping your locations private and everything. And if I got places to go look, I'm going to tell people, you know, I mean, people can come and go with me anytime they want to. I mean, I don't care. I'm going to keep anything as secret because I really want to see a good video and good pictures, you know, I want to see, you know, some good evidence being taken. And I'm not going to be the one to do that. I may not really want to do it, but you know, somebody else may have more luck than I have, you know. Yeah. And I happy for all the time is, you know, we're going camping, you know, you know, where can they go and listen for big foot or where can they go and maybe find

41:50some tracks and all, you know, and I always tell them, you know, I tell them the places I know about, you know, now do you just look for places that have sighting reports or are there any particular things you look for whenever you're going to an area? Some of the places that I have been, when I was some of the other guys, maybe we were camping or whatever, they're dinner reports there. So, you know, they like the one with the lady claims she hit one, you know, we we done a lot of walking around in the area where she was at, you know, there's a lot of places, a lot of times like that. Well, you know, we're going to go look the area over real good, maybe, you know, nothing else, maybe nothing but drive around for a while and in the roads and look, you know. But, you know, if I just go to my normal places where I go, I'm mainly just watching. I'm watching for a movement if I can see something. And then I kind of got like one on the ditch, you know, where I know where there's some soft ground, maybe I'll see a track, you know, and I do better that way.

42:53Now that lady that said she hit one, what was her story? Her story was she was coming in from work late one night and she said, something jumped out in front of me and I hit it, you know, and she said, I jumped out and she said, I seen it run off and said, it looked like a big foot and her car was all torn up and everything. She actually hit some kind of animal. She had hair and blood all over her vehicle and it was messed up. She ended up, you know, the insurance ended up fixing her vehicle and I think she made a police report and all of it. But, nothing was ever found of that, you know. Did you go to the side? Yeah, we went there to where she, blame she had it at, you know. We didn't ever see any track or anything, but this was probably a couple of weeks after I mean, you know, if there was any kind of track, it may have been washed away already. Yeah, whatever it's already disappeared with time, you know. One of the guys, he got some

43:55blood samples and some hair samples and we're going to do some DNA and last I already was looking for some way to do DNA and I'm just giving the name of a couple of people I knew that was into that could help him out and I don't know whatever to come of it. So I don't know if he still has it or he said it up or what? Did you see the hairs yourself? Oh, yeah. What did they look like? It was like caught up like in like around the edge of the fender and the head like, you know, in the in the bumper area and there, you know, it was like he got caught in it and it was some wrong hair, you know, but all I can tell you is he just, it just looked like some kind of long hair, you know, until you really don't know what it looks like, do you put it on your microscope, you know? Yeah, but you didn't look at it and say, oh, well, that's just deer hair or anything. Yeah, you know it. You know what deer hair, deer deer hair is going to be short hair, you know? Yeah. And you know what deer hair and if it's hog hair, hog hair ain't going to be, it's not going to be like anything else. It's going to be

44:58kosher, but it's going to be short, you know, so let anything that I knew they would have hair that long. Nothing that we know about. You mentioned you were a truck driver. Did you hear any stories while you were doing that? When I drove trucks, you find out you're setting around a truck stop and truck drivers are always got all kind of crazy stories they're telling myself, though, I never had experience on the road. I was the time I'd be out on the interstate. That's you're driving out on the interstate. There are a lot of vehicles on the interstate. There's not a lot around, so did you ever hear any black dog stories? Man, I heard all kind of stuff. I have, I have heard all kind of stories about different stuff. And I think a lot of that, those people, they're just talking like, you know, they even made a movie one time, you know, called, I forget what it was, Patrick Swazie was in it where he was a truck driver, you know, and yeah, I think that's what it was called was black dog or something like that. I think you're right. I mean, I heard all kind of stories

46:02after that movie came out. I said, people are crazy. They didn't want some to talk about. Yeah. They get more, they ain't got anybody to talk to. And then when they do get around somebody to talk to, they can't shut up. So who's this group of guys that you go running around with? Are you like an actual Bigfoot group? Well, yeah, kind of. It's, uh, yeah, it looks like they have a Bigfoot hunters. The only ones that have a rubber, rubber, it goes out camping and looking and it's always kind of the same runs all the time. We're all old anyway. We're not going to get out there and run through the woods and chase them down. Um, in Nackadish, they usually have the, Nackadish Bigfoot festival every year. And they usually have speakers speaking there and people telling their stories and all. And I've gone to the last two. They might be going to do another one, you know, here, here soon that I think they have a problem getting a building.

47:05A place that has enough capacity, you know, because they're using the O'Vit Center there and the O'Vit Center has got like a couple of rooms where people can go in and speak, you know, and have seats. There's not a lot of seats in there and the nurse, a couple of areas in the middle, it's open and that's usually where all the vendors is at. So I mean, they do pretty good at that festival, don't they? It's been pretty big, but it seems to be grown each year. Yeah, it is. It's pretty big and they don't really have enough seats for everybody, you know. And you're the building that's packed. I know the first time they done it, there was so many people showed up. There was a line come out of the door and going down the sidewalk down the street. And people, you know, they could find any parking really. The parking lot was full and people was parking on the sides of the streets and everything else and they were standing in line for long periods trying to get in. And the line wasn't even moving fast enough, you know,

48:07to get everybody in. And then the next year after that, they figured out a way to have several lines, they'd all move faster though, but the building couldn't hold all the people. They'd wanted to come, you know, so I assume you're talking about Carl and Jeff. I've had them on the show a couple times. I like those guys. I think that'll about do it.
