THIS WEEK'S GUEST: PINHOTI PROJECT'S DAVE OWENS 

Enjoy this week's episode as Maggie travels to Georgia to sit down and discuss all things wild turkey and the art of the hunt with Dave Owens. Dave Owens is a respected turkey hunter best known for his accolades in turkey calling competitions and his hit series on YouTube, The Pinhoti Project. The Pinhoti Project was created to showcase a more simplistic way of hunting, more specifically the hunting of the wild turkey. A way that is available and easily obtainable for all of us, achieved through effort- not fortune and gadgetry. The Pinhoti Project puts a large emphasis on the series' focus remaining on the quarry and serves to educate hunters of all ages and skill levels while displaying the utmost respect for the game throughout the pursuit. Be sure and stop by the Pinhoti Project booth next week at the NWTF and shake Dave's hand if you get the chance because he is as high caliber of a human as he is a hunter.
