00She's the general manager. Of course, you can check out the entire selection, certified pre-owned and brand new vehicles right there on their website. Check it out, BMWFairfax.com. All right, we talked about it earlier. Obviously the Oscars, the Academy Awards, big deal, used to be a bigger deal for me. I have to be honest, I can't pretend, but a prestigious award in that business. I thought it started way earlier than I can remember, maybe seven, seven, thirty, whatever it was. It was definitely three eight o'clock. It was definitely pre eight o'clock, and I don't remember that. It was seven, I believe, because I was a little surprised when I was going through my menu. It already said the Academy Awards. I expected Academy Awards pre-show or rent carpet. It already started, I think I've turned on right as Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actors. It could be in criticism. That was the first award. It could be in response to criticism, remember that it would just last so long. I'm following it up so late. I'm following it up being that early. I think this will last so long. Yeah, but maybe at least if you start earlier,
02then you're not up until midnight or whatever. You're doing the UFC bit. UFC pay-per-views start at 10 now, nine. You know, whatever, they get, big deal, you win an Oscar, it's a pretty good trophy to have on the hood of your car. It's actually the best. Aside from winning the Stanley Cup. Best Supporting Actors. Would you rather have an Oscar? A Grammy. Nobel Peace Prize. Oscar. Okay, easy to say ever. I mean, I think there's some biggies out there that you're selling. Somebody backs into your house. And they see the Oscar machine. They don't have to ask what it is. They see the Oscar. They don't have to ask what that is. They see the Nobel Peace Prize. They're gonna have to go, I don't know what a Nobel Peace Prize looks like. Do you? I don't look at it. I'm pretty good flex. I'd have to go up and look at it and read it. Nobel Peace Prize. Is it like a medal? I said, you don't wear it around your neck. Because I don't know. I think you're right. Yeah. It's a good one. Highsman's a great one. They got might take the highsman over Oscar. Highsman great. You're Mount Trophy Moore. Highsman Stanley Cup Oscar.
04Green Jack. You a Grammy. Green Jack. Green Jack is not a trophy. What's a Grammy? Oh, it's a trophy. What exactly is the Grammy? What's the Grammy look like? The Grammy's a piano. It's like a grand piano. It's a pretty good one. It's a little thing. Yeah. Like a gramophone. It's like a speaker almost like. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The horn. What would be the four trophies? The Grammy's very rock. The Grammy I would take over Oscar. Really? I think it's more sick to be a sick musician than it is. But I feel like it's a little diluted and that some people have like 30 Grams. Definitely. Nobody's got 30 Oscars. They're all PR garbage in reality. They're all just PR garbage. Well, then why does it mean anything? It means less than ever. I'll be honest. But the fact that one battle after another, one best picture, to me, the values, the Oscar a little bit, did no mad land win with Frances McDormand like during one of the COVID years. That's a terrible movie. That one best picture. Well, that's like when it became a title during the devalues, the award. A Nora last year. I thought a Nora. I liked a Nora.
04I was not. You know what? Movies aren't movies. I haven't seen any more. It was a. I haven't seen any of those. It was an entertaining movie. But you're watching it. You're going. This is this is the best picture. There was no real gravitas to the movie. That Hollywood has to offer. Like it's entertaining. But when you hear best picture, there's usually a aura with that movie. So best picture was one battle after another. Best supporting actors, Amy Madigan, Weapons. Best animated feature, K-Pop, Demon Hunters. Best supporting actor, Sean Penn. Best original screen price, sinners. Best director, Thomas Anderson. I only know him because he did the movie with the guy with the big dong already. Boogie nights. Boogie nights. If you do, there will be blood. I'm sure he's done a million. I don't know if you think he's super famous. He's super accomplished. And all I remember is dirt digular. All right. So look, I'm just going back to best picture, list of best pictures. Okay. Didn't see one battle after another.
05Yeah. Didn't see a Nora. Didn't see everything everywhere all at once. Nope. Didn't see Coda. Coda is pretty good. Didn't see no mad land. Terrible. Didn't see parasite. Really good. Didn't see green book. Green books. Very good. You've seen all these shape of water, no clue. Haven't seen it. Moonlight, no clue. Nope. I saw Moonlight. That's the first one I've seen. That was good. Hold on. There were spotlight and then Moonlight one. That's the mix up here, wasn't it? That's crazy. Camel read the wrong winner. Okay. That's embarrassing. Birdman. Haven't seen it. It's all that one. Terrible. That was 10 years ago. Yeah, about 10. Guy floating around. 12 years of Chris Anderson. Haven't seen it. No wonder about him. Argo. Argo is the last one I've seen. It's the last best that was in 2012. All right. 15 years. Your endless movies. When was the one I saw? 2014. That was 14. Yeah. Birdman.
06All those others, if you had told me they all came out this year, I'd believe it. I mean, I just don't see any movies anymore. Promise me this week. Within a week, you're going to watch weapons. And I want to. I promise you, I will make an attempt. I can't promise you. But I think, you know, the whole controversy about Timothy Chalamet, um, crappin' on the ballet and stuff like that, is he said, he's basically saying he doesn't want movies to become like that, but it is kind of becoming like that because of Netflix and series and, you know, all the best actors, he's cranked out movies. They're doing, Sebastian Sloan does. Is it called Mobland? Taylor Sheridan? Yeah, yeah. You know, like, I actually think it's great TV. I don't know. No, Stallone's not in Mobland. What's the, what's the name of this show? Tolstokin, Tolstokin, yeah. Tolstokin. No, Mobland is not Taylor Sheridan. Tiffany Chalamet is on to something. Every time I watch Jeopardy, and I watch it every night, whenever opera is one of the categories, I go, ugh, there's like an audible like a sigh because it's something that it's impossible for me to get into.
09Well, it's just not that popular. All he really said is, I don't want the movies to be like these great forms of art, which aren't popular. And he also said, sorry, don't offend you. Just giving him an opinion. What he said was non-controversial. It was stupid. What he said is actually accurate, yeah. It was non-controversial. They made a controversy out of nothing. I mean, what's the last time anybody in here went to an opera or ballet, raise your hand. Well, you would go to see your niece or something. I don't think I've ever been to an opera. He was still taking a shot. You guys would be bitter if some guy on Sports Center said, I don't want to be working in sports radio someday We don't want to be taking a shot to radio forever. We already have loads of these. He's taking a shot. You can't say that Alan May wasn't taking a shot. No, you're taking a shot, but it was a shot everyone would take. And it was pretty innocuous. Yeah, yes. But he still thinks he's better than those people. It were more talented. And he is. And again, I don't know if he is. I respect those art forms. I don't think he said it was controversial. You have to be super talented to do ballet or opera. It's just not that I've ever gravitated towards. He couched and say, hey, I'm not trying to take shots at you,
10which is what it is. You know what I mean? He was just being honest. Brian was right in his malignant. He said, toss jazz in the mix. Totally. Yeah, he did. I can't murder jazz. I have a little bit of a. Well, if you love aimless music that never ends, it doesn't have a problem. I have a major for jazz. Having played the saxophone in high school. And, you know, jazz is part of that history. Your brother played with one of the mercilesses. Yeah, I have a little bit of empathy for jazz, but it's not like I've listened to jazz. Winford didn't bring him yet. If you love jazz, watch, put it on your playlist. I'm not saying I love it. Well, you'd rather listen to jazz than opera. Not before it as an art form. I would rather listen to jazz and opera. That's true, but they're both last resorts. So you're telling me when you used to drive home from WJFK back in the day, and they played cool jazz after the sports junkies. I mean, no disrespect. You weren't tuning into it? Believe it was true. You don't. Sure, Lita was the job. Lita, yeah. Sure, Lita, yeah. But Jason had a thing for sure, Lita. No, I would listen. Farrell. She was cute. Yeah, she was.
11That would be great soothing music to put you to sleep, I think. Possibly. Sure. I should download jazz. You should. You should listen to all sleep quicker. Smooth jazz. Smooth jazz, right? Well, these is making a big deal. A lot of people are making a big deal about Leo. Now, when I saw the story just by the headline, I did see the picture and it actually didn't. I guess it jumped. I guess I noticed it, but I didn't think it was that big a deal. Leo, they say it did something totally different at the Oscars in 2026. Oh, yeah. He didn't bring eye candy? Well, I thought it said... It was sitting next to a hot. It makes a brand move with Oscars 2026 date. So I look at the woman and I go, oh, she looks like she's probably over 25. So I think that's the story. Well, these, as the story is, he's got a mustache. That's the... Okay. I think that is the story. Yeah. But why does it say with Oscar 2026 date? Well, that's the New York Post story, but I wanted you to look for you. It's the mustache. Oh, definitely. Yeah. And for Drabbe, who's walking around, he's so in love with Leo, he's asking me, he's asking me if he would look good with a mustache and he wants to start growing up.
14Because someone somewhere along the line has told you, you look like the other camera. Well, not someone. Hundreds of people. It's happened to you hundreds of people. Hundreds of people. It's your hand to go. Hand to go. Right hand. Get a Bible. I mean, you believe in heaven and everything? Of course. Come on. Yeah. Yeah. You raised as a Catholic or something? Yeah. You church yesterday. Okay. You believe. I've been told. You believe you've been told over a hundred times that you look like Leo. Or so when I was younger. You lose it a little bit. Now when the hair started going a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So when you see that, now you want to see how you look. I think I could rock the mustache. I think you should do it. Yeah, yeah. I've always hated it. Well, you do it. You got hair growing everywhere now. Why don't you do it? Drabbe looks like Gilbert Grape Leo. All right. Yeah. Yeah. That doctor worked on that upper lip immediately because you could you grow a thick one. I know you've done you've done that weird thing under your chin for years. The sole patch. Yeah. But that's so weird.
14Yeah. Yeah. I could do that. You did it. Would you do it for the show? I mean, I don't like show. If Leo keeps it. I'll keep it. I'll grow it out. Well, but just grow it out for two. Like we did it because I don't want to look like Mike Mar when he has his mustache and it looks terrible. You're moving out of the caps or whenever we were in the neighborhood. I see. We did mustache. The beard is on. I remember I did a mustache. One year it was a mustache. I did a mustache. Maybe I don't know. And it's trifling. I had pictures of me with a mustache. It's a distinct look. And yeah, I mean I just, it came. King's will always have it. I will, I will never grow another one. It's gonna look weird when his lips are bigger than his mustache. He does that's a big better than JP of facial hair. That was a weird thing. He was doing a few weeks ago like that. JP can't rock the facial hair. Yeah, it's a weird thing. I don't know why. Maybe it's because his head's tiny. I don't know about this. It just doesn't come in that great. It just doesn't, it just doesn't look right. Um, cakes, the Motorhead guitarist, Phil Kampel passed away 64, pour some out for him. I can't say I have a big
20file on him. Um, I thought this was it. You see about Ace of Spades by Motorhead. That's a silly, just a couple other quickies here. They're saying JLo, uh, this is the rumor that she is eyeing a bad bunny romance JP to, uh, she's kind of targeting him to pump up her career. They say she's got to be at least 25 years younger. Yeah. JLo is 56 years old. She's our age. I think he's about 30. She looks like she's 36. She looks dynamite. Yeah. But she, they say is desperate for career boost. And she's convinced that, uh, the 32-year-old rapper, Benito Antonio Martinez, Ocasio is exactly what she needs to revive her. Benito Martinez. Benito Antonio Martinez, Ocasio. Yeah. That is bad. A lot of names. I'd seen a story that she was upset. Testing season is right around the corner. And this is when confidence really matters. She's got she's got a bunch of other artists that I don't remember but Ricky Martin was in the middle and then he had some people dancing and hosted. I mean, she performed like five years ago. Yeah. Yeah, but she still wants to be relevant. That's the whole thing. Like she wants to be relevant today. Huh? She had her shot. Yeah, I know. She did the one with Shakira. Yeah. Yeah. You know, if you do a Las Vegas residency, you shouldn't be doing it. It last but not least, cakes that
33this will just send him off. He'll do his whole should be spiel. Britney Spears, they're saying shocker financial fears after selling. We talked about this her song archive. I think she only got 200 million for it. Just 200 million. It's a lot, but I don't believe she has any rights or music anymore. So all those hits she's done. That's it. She cast out. That's it. No more. You'll get a well anymore. 200 million. And they say she's spending like a maniac. Of course they say it's basically like a teenager having money. She needs Jason Bishop for father. Stop that immediately. Rand her conservative ship, right? Until 2021, they freed her, right? And then I'm not sure they did her any favor. Now she's free to spend. And now they say when she breaks up with a boyfriend, she rents a $20,000 night villa. Thanks a bunch of friends. She hires a personal bodyguard that just walks around with her dolls. Like she is spending uncontrollably. It turns out the free movement. The free room. Yeah. They probably needed to keep her in check. I mean, you do want people to have personal freedoms. They can spend their money wherever they want to. Yeah. But
33if they've got mental issues, it might have been for the greater good to have more freedom to leave and and access some of her money. But you know what? What they did with Iverson seems to have worked. They kind of give them a trust for when he hits certain age and you give it to him a little at a time. I love it. It's kind of anti-American. Don't not sure. I love it. That's better for him. That might be the way to go in those instances.
