Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast. A ranged marriage is basically a reality show.

00And you're auditioning for your soulmate. And who's judging? Only your entire family. I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition. Hoping to find love the right way. And instead, I found chaos, comedy, and a lot of cringe. Listen to Boys and Girls on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts. Or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon. And this is my friend is much more famous than I am. I wouldn't go that far. But I'm John Green, co-host of the podcast The Away End with my old friend Daniel. On our podcast The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football. All leading up to the 2026 World Cup. Together, we'll find out why of all the unimportant things. Football, soccer is the most important. Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts. Or wherever you get your podcasts. Got it, Dan Rich. Let's get some entertainment news. Calpate what you guys got. Okay, so a former mes employee in Beverly Hills, she has come out claiming that apparently the brand

01wants straight up refused to sell this rare black alligator mini Kelly Burke and bag to Kim Kardashian and Kanye for their daughter Northwest. Apparently, when this request for the $75,000 bag went up, they shut it down because they didn't want the then six-year-old Northwest to be rocking this bag walking around. Kim is already clapping back. She's saying like her team is saying that this is a completely made-up story that Kim only buys her her mes from her long-time contact in Paris. And that this person is just trying to get clout. And also if Kim won Suburken, Kim gets Suburken. Kim gets Suburken. I love this story, though, because I feel like it feels her ego a little bit. I've been catching up on keeping up with the Kardashians in the latest episode. It's when she bought the Bible. You know, the Bible that was once OJs. And she had to like use someone else during the auction to buy it, but she's like, I get what I want. So if she wanted that bag for her daughter,

01she would get that bag for her daughter. And it sounded out. So she's actually also dating Lewis Hamilton right now. And from what like the sources are saying about this relationship is that they both have found their match. Like their friends are saying they would not be surprised at all if this is endgame for both of them. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, I'm like, I mean, like that is moving a little fast. Although, I mean, we don't know exactly how long they've been seeing each other because they really only have soft launched their relationship recently. But yeah, that's what their friends are saying. It's getting pretty serious already. Hillary Duff, she obviously has a lot going on right now. She got a new album called Luck and On It. She talks about her estranged relationship with her sister. The song is called We Don't Talk. And she opened up a podcast about how tough it is. My sister and I don't speak as painful as it feels to share when I decided to make this record. I could only talk about the things that I've gone through. It's a very vulnerable song and it's a very raw part of my existence. And I hope it's not forever, but it's for right now.

04Why don't they talk? Yeah, you can listen to all that. You can listen to the song. They just lived together. Remember they used to share a house. Yeah. She also kind of opened up about the Lizzie Maguire reboot that everyone wants. But apparently we're not getting any time soon. Right now it's not in the cards. I have a world tour to go on. But when I think about Lizzie, you know, I was really excited thinking about her at 30 and going through 30 year old things. And now I can't really see her at 40. Maybe I could start to see her around like 55-60. And I think that's interesting. Harry style fans, you guys, they are freaking out. They're like, what's with his accent? It's all different now. So he just did this interview. He's talking of course about his new music and whatnot. And he, they think it's like no longer a British accent and sounds more Australian. And I wrote myself a letter the night before. That I said, like, I would open the day afterwards. I wanted to catch myself if I was like disappointed

05or if I was feeling myself a little too much. I'm paraphrasing, but it basically said something like, whatever everyone just told you, it's not true. Remember why you made it? Like, that is the reward. I'm like, give the guy a break. Like, he travels all over the world. So you probably pick some different dialect. It goes, I know. Rihanna is freaking out. Obviously we talked yesterday about the woman who was literally shooting a gun at her house. Hit her house. She was inside and police have obviously arrested the suspect. Shortly after they got her, she's being held on $10.2 million bond and was charged with attempted murder. They're saying like investigators are still trying to figure out why Rihanna was targeted. However, as they deep dive into this woman whose name is Ivana Ortiz, she actually had posted a video a month ago calling out Rihanna. She saw Rihanna. She saw her picture. She has a very big forehead and an ugly ugly nose.

06That's God's judgment on her. I keep telling her to stop harassing me. And she keeps doing it. She keeps harassing me. Yeah, so she's got mental issues. Big time. You know what you say? She shot a gun. It's like an AR-15. Yeah, I know. That's definitely happening. I know, but not like, when I first heard the story, like, she took a pistol and pay for it. Yeah, no. She took a freaking. Yeah. She does have mental issues. She did be previously been placed on psychiatric hold in Florida about a year ago. She lost custody of her child. Oh, man. Yeah. Yeah. You have to be terrified. I mean, you have to be terrified. If you're, if I'm, I'm moving immediately. You know what I mean? It's like, you just, you got to get out of there. Because now that house has bad juju and all the thing. And you've got kids. That's probably also like $70 million. It's probably like an easy sell. What if first happened? I wonder if her and ASAP Rocky were like, like if she was like, well, this is obviously your fan. And he's like, oh, no, it's your fan. Like, what are you saying? He's like, ah, it was your fan. I think they're more like, thank God you're safe.

06Chapel Roan, she did not feel safe. She, she was being followed by paparazzi in Paris. And if you guys remember when, when Kim Kardashian was there in Paris to do her trial, she had, they had films, the paparazzi there. And they are really extremely aggressive. So she didn't feel safe. So what she did is she started filming the paparazzi and calling them out. So I'm just trying to go to dinner. And I've asked these people several times to get away from me. They're hiding their face because they're insane. Because I've asked them, this is, then go away. So I will all of you. I have to kindly to please leave me alone. Can you do for us something nice? The control room? No, I'm not going to sign. No, please. What have you taken? If you're wondering how it would work. I think that would be actually very scary. And I like how she dealt with it. Kind of like, I'm telling you know, I'm setting my boundaries. That's that. Yeah, for sure. This is Chelsea, handler from Dear Chelsea. After the big game like most people, I kept thinking about the commercials. And there was one that stayed with me. It was from the Blue Square Alliance against hate. And it wasn't loud or flashy.

07It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school. And another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar. And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself. But the impact is still huge. If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about. And if you want to show support, sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that. Want to call me White Girl, Mona will be there. Keep it positive, sweetie with Chris Thurwerne. We got reality with the king with Carlos King. And yes, Drink Champs will be in the building. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Plus you know we're going to have a lot of guests. So you need to join us. And we got the Black Effect Marketplace.

08The picture podcast and everything you expect from the Black Effect podcast festival. Take us around to hell right now. Go get your other blackeffect.com slash podcast festival.
