00Welcome to the Daily Energized Podcast, your quick dose of clarity, quick tips, and the spark you need to shine bright. Here's your host, Spencer Jones. Hey Energizer, I hope you are ready for an amazing day, a day just filled with joy, with love, stuff that makes your cup overflow. And today's episode is hopefully going to help you do just that, to help your cup overflow and so I'm going to give you a challenge, all right, two challenges as a matter of fact. The first challenge is this, and all right, we're not wasting any time. We're just launching right into it. So the first challenge is this, right now, what are three things you are grateful for in your life. Now, don't pick the common ones that you always say, you know, try to go through those pretty quickly, and then pick three other ones. Three different things that you are grateful for today, maybe some things that happened,
04or things that happened for you, are you experienced this week, okay, what are three things you're grateful for? Okay, means time. Okay, hopefully you got three things you are grateful for this week. That's the first challenge, come up with those. Now, the second thing is, how are you going to celebrate your wins today? The wins you've had this week, so I guess first and foremost, maybe it's like a three-part challenge, right, find the gratitude, and then what are some wins you've experienced this week? Big wins, small wins, all the wins, doesn't matter the size, what wins did you have, and then how are you going to celebrate that? How are you going to celebrate that today, Friday, the end of the week, I want you to go celebrate your wins. Maybe it's by doing a little dance party, right, a solo dance party. Maybe you're going to go for a walk, and just think about the wins, and savor them, and
08feel really good. Maybe you want to treat yourself to a drink, or a special dinner, or hang out with friends, and share some of the wins, and just celebrate it. Maybe you just want to post and share about it in the energy hub, right? That'd be cool, come hop in there and share your wins with us in there. However, however you choose to celebrate them, celebrate them, find things you are grateful for, savor them, feel them in your heart, discover the wins, and uncover the wins you've had, big, small, medium, obvious, obscure, whatever. Find the wins, and if you struggle to find the wins, talk to a friend, a coworker, a trusted mentor, because sometimes having an outside perspective can help you see those wins more and more clearly, I should say. So what are the wins, and then how are you going to celebrate them? Again, it doesn't have to be this big grandiose celebration, but celebrate them.
12The vast majority of us, me included, suck at celebrating our wins. We're like, oh yeah, that's cool, yeah, that's awesome, and then on to the next thing. Like it might get 10 seconds at best, 10 seconds of us celebrating. Instead of going, hey look, we made it, we did this, yes, and let's go celebrate and savor that celebration. Now some people might say, well, it's meant to, that's just feeding your ego, doing that. Just trying to bolster up, and if I was trying to bolster my ego with it, I would be, I don't know, I don't think there's anything wrong with celebrating the good things, it's not like I'm trying to say, hey look at me, I did all these wins, I'm not trying to show it off to the world, like I'm just celebrating it for me to pump myself up, to give me confidence and support. I mean, yeah, look, I did these things, hey, I got out of bed and I worked out when I didn't want to work out. Hey, that's a win. Hey, I completed this task. Hey, I reached out to these amount of people, whatever that win is, it's still a win.
19And even sharing it in the energy hub, while that can be seen as feeding your ego, it's a way for you to celebrate, hey, I did this and we're there to celebrate with you without judgment. And it just makes a huge difference, because when you start looking for and savoring and feeling the emotions of joy and positives, you start to see more of it, you feel it more and you attract more of it to you. So my question is, and my challenge is, what are three things you're grateful for? And then what win, wins have you had this week, because you've had many, what are some wins you've had, and then how are you going to celebrate them? That's it. Go do that today, celebrate either today or some point this weekend, but celebrate them. You are worth it. Don't postpone it. Don't say, I'll do that next week or I'll do it later. No. Now, plan it, schedule it, whatever, but celebrate, because you are freaking awesome.
