End of the world

0:00Here's a weird question for you. Do you think the world will end in your lifetime? Yes. You really do. You're one of the one and three people who believe that. Is he now, well, we've been told our entire lives pretty much, like the world's gonna end. We're gonna run, the planet's gonna burn up. We're gonna burn through the ozone layer and we're all just gonna turn into dust. Well, maybe this is why you're such a pessimistic person because I was not taught that growing up. I was taught we would have hundreds of millions of years left, for sure. But now, and it used to be, by the way, fringe people, maybe just from Houston, Texas, thinking that the world was gonna end in their lifetime. But now it's 33% of people agree. Yeah, we're probably gonna see the end of the world at some point in our lifetime. And it's becoming more and more common across North America and it's significantly influencing how people interpret and respond to most pressing threats facing humanity. I mean, I would say if anything,

1:01it's probably brought out more, maybe not optimism, but happiness with me because like, I feel like I have much more of a yellow mentality with feeling like the world's gonna end in my lifetime anyways. Like, book that trip, spend the money, who cares? What would you do if they gave us like a definite date? Like, okay, you got until March of 2028. I would figure out how much money I had. And if I could get away with just blowing it all and having the time of my life and not working and not worrying about anything, just being happy. Well, I would say, take it a step further, forget about how much money you have, how much debt can you rack up? That's also a great point. Like, at that point, who cares? I mean, take credit cards out on credit cards out on credit cards. Yeah, like just to swipe that plastic, baby. If it's all gonna burn up anyways, who cares? Yeah, I don't know, I still contend that you thinking that the world is gonna end in your lifetime

If anything, I think it has positive impacts where I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna choose not to care about that because like the world's gonna end anyways, who cares? That is the second most optimistic thing you've ever said. Other than whenever you say, I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist. Hahaha.
