Another reading through our journals now. I took a long walk through the park. The light filtering through the trees reminded me of Elf Fanning's delicate, almost strange presence. Like she belongs in soft golden hour moments. A kid on a bike nearly ran me over, often happens. I laughed it off, a channeled a bit of Dakota Johnson's dry, understated humour in my head. Well, that was something I muttered, just like she would. Later met a friend for drinks. Margot Robbie's laugh echoed in my memory from a red carpet clip I saw last week. Bright, unapologetic, I tried to match the energy tonight, it mostly worked. I had a productive morning, finished the report I've been dreading. Scarlett Johansson's confident delivery and press tours makes me want to speak with more

authority at work. Can you imagine? Zendaya's calm focus helped me push through the final edits. In the evening, cook some pasta. Don't like pasta, but there you go. I accidentally used too much garlic, don't like garlic very much either. Jenna Ortega would probably turn that into a perfectly timed, dead pan joke. Sydney Sweeney's bubbly optimism popped up when the sauce actually tasted decent, despite my mistakes. Elizabeth Olson's warmth feels like the hug I didn't know I needed after a very long day. Simple pleasures.
