The blaze destroyed the tent completely with damages estimated at $100,000 plus another $50,000 in merchandise. Inside, the store's exterior took some damage too, but the fire never reached the main building and no one was hurt. Owners who live right behind the store got a wake-up call from their family dog barking at the flames. They spotted the fire and dialed 911 right away, allowing crews to arrive fast and knock it down. Surveillance video captured the exact moment sparks flew from where an extension cord plugged into the tent, confirming the electrical cause. Investigators pointed out that extension cords aren't meant for long-term or heavy-duty commercial setups like this one.
