Eight Arrested in London Arson Probe

This brings fresh heat to a series of fires that have rattled the city with seven of the arrests tied to an alleged plot for another blaze aimed at the Jewish community though, cops ain't spilling the target yet. It kicked off Sunday when counterterrorism policing grabbed three guys, aged 24, 25, and 26 up in Harbondon. They got released on bail after questioning. Then Monday rolled in with a 25-year-old man pinched in Stevenage plus a 26-year-old dude and two women, 50 and 59, pulled over in a car in Birmingham. These attacks have folks on edge, especially in the Jewish community that's been in the crosshairs. No one's hurt so far, but the pattern screams targeted intimidation, stirring up real fear and calls for tighter security around synagogues and neighborhoods. Tuesday added another layer, a 39-year-old man got lifted in e-ling under the Terrorism Act.
