It started with spotty tree damage near Main Street, then got stronger heading east, snapping trees between one-thirteenth and one-fifteenth street. A few trees fell on cars and homes along Tracy and Virginia avenues before it fizzled out near Cookingham Drive. Meanwhile the second twister spun up just after 910 pm near 200th Street on the Clay County side of the Clinton County Line. It lasted five minutes, snapping tree tops, damaging power poles, and scattering metal debris on a home along 204th Street. No major injuries reported, just tree limbs down and some cleanup needed.
