It's our good friend Richard Skinner local 12 skinny what's going on? Good man were you ever a camping guy? No in fact this is a great story. When I lived in Tulsa Oklahoma my father decided he was going to help run our wee below group the step beyond Cubscauts and one thing he had to do was go camp once my dad was a city guy from New York he wanted no part of camp and I really want to know part of camp and especially when that whole time it felt like we spent more time trying to get kicks off of one another than we did have so at that point I'm like no more for me I'm good I'm you know what give me a hotel a comfortable bed and I'm good to go. Little Lacey man skinny and we're less than a week away from the draft now and Jason I were talking about it beforehand.

4:12Pretty consistent what I've seen is downs out of Ohio State but your thoughts on where do the Bengals go at 10? Yeah I'm leaning more towards going to go to corner back around you can't go wrong to tail down so I did a mock draft last week I'll do a final one on Thursday the day of the draft morning of and put it up online at local 12.com I took downs but just the more I guess that they haven't really done it corner in this off season I mean they signed a guy named Seer Taylor just to maybe compete at nickel corner you know I've made the team for goodness sakes you know they obviously signed Brian Cook and they signed Kyle Dugger they still have days on Anthony and PJ Jules on the roster so it feels like there's enough depth to save again I would not preclude that it's down to there and he's the best player on the board at that point I by all means take him but it just feels like it's it's trending more towards corner back and you'll have prior choice of two and it's an interesting choice you're my McWay out of Tennessee who didn't play last year because of an ACL injury but did grade it as pro day ran ran like the win and everybody says his tape from 2024 was was the best in the country this position and

5:16then Mansour D'Lane from LSU D'Lane has really no red flags McWay has probably more upside and it's probably more talented if he's healthy there's some run links and some teams have actually taken him off the draft or because of the the knee concerned but you know and nobody knows if the Bengals are one of those but it feels like it's trending more in that direction in my opinion yeah I mean that I agree with you skinny it seems like that's the way they're going to go and is this looking at the bigger bigger draft are they is it just is it going to be defense first round well we know first rounds almost certainly going to be defense but then is it going to be second third round do you think they're going to continue with trying to you know shore up that defense I think they should yeah right now at that point let's let's say you go corner in the first round there's some really good second and third round safety so you could go there to still address the depth if you want to I'm not overly keen on on wiki linebacker coming in to try to match up the two guys who struggle last year got a little bit better as a year one along but it feels

6:17like it's trending in that direction whether sunny styles false that spot at 10 right Jacob Rodriguez who is just a turnover making machine at Texas Tech last year and seems to fit a perfect second round mold but at some point they've also got to probably got to address offensive tackle the swing tackle you know right now they only have five tackles on the roster last year they got by with with Orlando Brown junior playing every single snap of the season and Amari Smith starting all 17 games and playing all the 60 snaps you never really saw of Cody Ford in an extended period of time could really get the job done and I'm not sure I trust him to get the job done and the other two tackles on the roster played four combined NFL games so you could you probably need to start tapping into that and there's a bladjust did my position group today and off I've been doing a daily positional group even quarterback just to look at the draft and if the Bengals would take somebody knew they would be and there are a lot of okay third and fourth round tackles a lot of who projected swing tackles I mean you'd like them to project eventually as starters but at least as of now projected swing tackles so maybe in the third round they bypass defense to go that route they also need to get an interior offensive lineman for depth they don't really have

7:21a ton of guard depths at the moment they don't really have a center who do you have any NFL experience under his belt he'd like to get somebody with center guard experience and can play both because of versatility so yeah I do think at least in the first two rounds it would be hard not to go defense and then see where you're at at that point Richard Skinner local 12 was our guest and skinny rock and I were talking to Mike Patralia the other day and I threw it out there no one what the response was going to be and I got soundly and roundly mocked when I said is there any chance these guys trade back or up or at all I'm they don't do that that sounds like that's definitely a Browns move I've seen many scenarios where the Browns move back a few spaces out of six to get a couple extra picks but I say and that's I brought this up this is when I really got heckled I and I've seen I don't know if you guys have or not I saw the Brown or the Bengals trading up

8:22with the Browns to get the six to take sunny styles now that's a crazy scenario but I've seen more than one mock do that yeah I they just don't like giving up draft capital that I don't know if he's such if it's such an unbangle like move but I do know they love sunny style they love and if it only takes and it won't take a minimum that's the problem it's going to take you to give up something significant either in this draft um because they don't have a fifth round pick so remember they're going to bounce from the fourth round all the way to the sixth round in this draft um and and so you start giving up capital now and a little capital in the future I just I'm not going to mock you for that but I I just don't see them doing it but I do know they love sunny styles maybe a mock draft some way shape or form they they they they they can make that deal uh work I would do it it it it is something they do not do the trade backs also they just don't do that a whole lot if if at all um you know if if it does come let's just say the board falls apart and the the next tier of players that they have graded they can say

9:23hey we we can go back three spots five spots and still get one of these five guys um and add some draft capital I think I think that's in play I don't see it taking place they they like their picks they'll do that someone date day two they'll do that occasion on day three they'll move those around the board but they they just don't do it in round one and oh by the way skinny uh the defensive line is still okay like there's a lot of question marks there and uh at the end of the day how do you grade but free agency as it relates to going into this draft because everything you're mentioning here in my mind seems like there's so much reaching going on and there's so much you know they duped Tobin said all in I'm like I don't know um where are you at with yeah listen I think they'll repay for boy a mace agree the advance metrics suggest he will be better than what the the production shows his his head coach Mike McDonald the owner's meeting uh is that

10:25coaching the Seattle talk glowingly of him that hey I know he didn't have production will we like to see more sure but he said he disrupts a lot of pockets to where he doesn't get the sack that he forces the got quarterback up into the pocket and their tackles were actually pre-affected Russian the passer something bangles tackles haven't been all that affected that they had affected tackles Russian the passer so other people were finishing up plays boy moth they created okay I'll give you that I'm okay with that you know Jonathan Allen feels like a stab in the dark at 31 years old and you know you talk glowingly at the combine did did but do Tobin and I'll go over and about Chris Jenkins and the young guys well you just got somebody over Chris Jenkins I mean it's a BJ heel Jonathan Allen playing uh not alongside each other playing in tandem you know one two and then the nose tackles TJ Slayton and McKinley Jackson that's the spot I I could see them sometime third or fourth round if they're going to draft a defensive tackle it would probably be uh a nose tackle type to compete with McKinley Jackson for a spot you know behind TJ Slayton I know they they they they were going to try this last year I'll be interested to see if they do it this year on third down situations moves

11:26Shamar Stewart inside the attack and feel like that addresses your you know your speed and quickness inside a tackle he's certainly physical enough to do it um but obviously he has no production to show for it even as an end which is what he is um you know if moth they play as well and mouse might be play as well then you need to find a role for Shamar Stewart not just the backup rotation role but find a a situational role for him so have they done enough probably not I think they do come out of this trap with either a nose tackle or an edge but I I think those will be more depth pieces and they will difference makers unless Rubin Rubin veins there at 10 the best player on the board because he can be a difference maker yeah uh we were talking to Richard Skinner and uh guys switching gears here to uh our Cincinnati Reds not looking too bad right now and uh yesterday uh rock and I were laughing about it yesterday when was the last time you saw a good old-fashioned Donnie Brook on the field and these guys were the giants and Reds were mixing it up there for the couple of days in a row man that's uh that's good old-fashioned hardball I think that's some frustration from both teams obviously the giants aren't playing

12:30very well haven't played very well have hard hard time scoring runs and the Reds have had hard time scoring runs and what happens yesterday you get shut out you're like in the last it's out of the game pitcher who strikes out South Stewart tells me to go sit the blank down South tells him to shut the blank up and there we are going at it and I don't blame South for that because I'm sure he was frustrated striking out the end of the game I'm sure the giants trying to let out some frustration they were mad from the night before obviously when Spencer stereoed out of the pitcher to throw the blank and bowl um that's why he probably got hit yesterday and then it looked like they even things up when the Reds when Connor Phillips equally is Thomas I'm like okay we're tied the score settle let's just end this you guys have had your little war and then the pitch of relief pitcher at the end had escalated just a step further but like a lot of baseball fights nothing comes out of it they just hit their middle around and then everybody was hugged after a while right it just looked like a pick yeah everybody stands around that's what always what kills me too I mean it used to be man there are guys there'd be a fight over there a skirmish in the dugout there'd be bodies laying everywhere chasing someone out there all went out on the field and act like they're going to do something they just hug and laugh and say well

18:50everybody who's still pining for the hugs days and there's still there are still people out there who are pining for them absolutely and I was you know I didn't directly say that at my column the day but that was really the impetus to it is that I talked to Corey Blunt um he came in to the office uh the inquired newsroom the other day and did uh that's a Cincinnati podcast with uh burrow love and I was uh honor to uh guest uh host with him on that um and then I caught Corey off to the side after that and I just asked him like we're gonna see more of hugs and he basically said you know there's an effort afoot by him and there's a handful of those guys from that final four team that regularly talked to hugs and have almost become kind of like uh you know unofficial advisors to him they're they're always in his year they're always trying to guide him about you know hey you should you know do this or don't do this and I'm talking more along the lines of you know the basketball stuff and uh Corey Blunt Terry Nelson um you know there's a couple of those guys that constantly stay in touch with him and I think they're really encouraging

19:51uh the bridging of the of the gap or the I don't know the generations so to speak maybe uh between Huggins and UC basketball now that to his former assistant Jared Calhoun is the head coach there so I don't think there's not I did call someone at the university and it was told that there won't be there is no plans for anything official to bring him back in the fold like in terms of maybe a coaching consultant or like an official like fundraiser type of thing but uh certainly the administration's uh is is has warmed up to him and having him around and you know making an appearance here and there or you know um you know he showed up at Jared Calhoun's press conference and uh everyone was excited to see him and so I think those types of things you're going to see you know not not like once a month or but maybe you know four or five times a year how good is going to pop up more so I think more publicly around here do you know where he lives now uh you they still lives up in uh Morgan town west Virginia okay I was wondering if I did I ask

20:51Corey blonde if he was considering maybe moving back and then right and blunt blunt said he actually has asked him that and he's uh and Huggins said you should talk to his wife June uh because you know they love their house there they yet they have family there and so uh Corey said you know he indicated that that's probably not going to happen but uh that we'll see uh we'll see Hugg's more around town uh uh more more often than we have certainly in the you know the past 20 years or so so I'd like to know is he as beloved in his connection with what was uh West Virginia big time big time and that's you know he's uh that's where he went he went to West Virginia and uh so he grew up in eastern Ohio not far from the West Virginia border I believe his dad grew up in Morgan town or in West Virginia somewhere so there's a lot of West Virginia roots there and he became this um you know this this figure that was beloved statewide because he just is you know in a lot of ways like he's just such a complex and I covered him for three or four

27:08yeah really official official opening yet they just had a preview uh yesterday of their new ride and I tell you it's gonna be popular it's going to be popular you know I'm a fan of theme parks and so anytime there's something new at least I'm only talking about it uh there's new riders phantom theater I'm familiar right it's it's a ride from the 90s it's actually used to be there and then they got rid of it and it turned into booblasters over the past eight or so and that was the one where you set those little cars with the flashlight and yeah and you had to you have to shoot it and there are a million screening little kids great air I used to take the time so we could be in here and get this name yep yep so it's where you went when it's when it's raining in King's Island yeah so what they've done is they've completely redone the ride and they brought back phantom theater which was what it originally was and they brought back phantom theater and now it's been converted from the whole booblasters thing to this this opera house

28:13and it's haunted and they've got and they've got an organ and they've got a maestro and they've got a singing opera lady and then you go through and uh it's kind of cool it's it's not that much different than booblasters but it's refreshed it's new all new characters and features and you know what's gonna have a really long line John is it still you're still gonna be going through on I believe I know you did blue or boob that booblasters on a little boat yeah is it still gonna be that way for this yeah it's it's it's it's an actually like a it's a car thing but it goes on a track and uh yeah same basic thing it's a it's a revamping it's not a completely new ride but it freshened it up only seeming and so that's the new thing at King's Island this year I wish that a new roller coaster I wish they had another you know son of beast going up they don't that's what we get for this year but uh the good news is it's still affordable still affordable I don't know I think you guys might have the ads on I've heard them for you can still get a silver

30:20bringing little three year olds on the ride that Disney and I'm like why are you here you just paid a hundred fifty dollars to ticket per day to take a three year old when you could have gone to King's Island for forty five dollars or better yet you could have gone to Chuck E. Cheese for free because here's my little money saving secret a two or three year old doesn't know the difference between Chuck E. Cheese and Walt Disney world well that's like you're right if you say here two or three year old knows the difference really McDonald's and Burger King they don't know and they don't is there a little box for the toy in it and some french fries they're fine they yeah they don't a two year old doesn't know the difference between McDonald and Jeff Ruby so correct you need to take a three year old to Jeff Ruby John is there any other King's Island I know they for years there a couple years ago we did it's where they have like you know some meals like if you're a pass holder you can also get like a drink that you can refill throughout your whole

31:23you know time there you can bring it back maybe they still have all that stuff yeah with it yeah with a pass holder you can get a drink season pass for like thirty five dollars for the whole year and I mean that's amazing considering that a Gatorade or Coke is like seven bucks right so that's a really really good deal that is a good deal okay what we're also talking about why should I never leave a bank account untouched for a year John I'm curious oh we had a story this week with this mom local mom down in northern Kentucky and it's just unbelievable she had opened up savings account for her for her little baby you know she had a little baby boy opens up a savings account puts a few thousand in we're gonna save up for college you know took the grandparents money and everything and said we're gonna save up for college and put the kid through school perfect opens up an account so about five years later now the kids five or six she goes have her check on that account figure turning interest checks on the account it's closed it's gone the money's gone so a thousand dollars gone and we looked into it and it turns out this

39:49having me the program so Paul you heard what we were saying there and why do people do this do they trust are they starting to trust this stuff over their own doctor you know what I think it is is I they shouldn't panic I think what what they should absolutely do is kind of like it's absolutely recalibrate because what this kind of exposes I think it's something most people don't understand yet and AI is it necessarily failing at medicine I think it's being asked to do something it was never designed to do right and I think yeah yeah I think the reality is AI is like excellent at pattern recognition when the puzzle is complete but medicine you know real medicine that's about solving the puzzle when half the pieces are missing right so that's and that's kind of exactly where these models kind of fall apart you know so I think it's just like it's a great tool and I use it

40:51like at the crossroads of different things that I do all day long as a tool but like remember what it is and how to use it right right okay so I'm sorry Jessica oh no I was gonna say like what where's the breakdown is is the breakdown in the lack of information that folks who are going in there and trying to get diagnosed are giving them like if are they just basically going in there and saying hey I've had a sharp pain in the left side of my abdomen for the past 45 minutes what do I have and I think I think it's two things right I think one and we might not be able to get to the second one because of this one right I think one of them is that there's a concern that AI kind of agrees with you that's like if you think you have yeah like if you think you have something serious it might reinforce that so like for the thing of it is is that yes there's where it can get a little you know dangerous AI has like a built-in tendency toward confirmation bias right

41:54so it can be trained to be helpful to align with your question to meet you where you are so if you go in and say do these symptoms mean cancer it may lean toward validating that concern instead of like properly challenging it you know that that creates something that like we kind of call that like a digital echo chamber you know you bring fear AI reflects it back but like cleaner more articulate more convincing and now your anxiety it kind of feels like evidence right and I think that's like that's where we don't even need to go any further I think with that topic because that one is a huge big psychological thing for people when I just just think about it when I just said it you know what I mean like I didn't know what you guys are going to ask me but like when I think about that piece of it you know it's huge well yeah we're talking to Paul Fulford and and Paul it was if you were talking to your doctor and you say exactly what you just said

42:58and do I do I have cancer your doctor is going to go well we're going to have to break it down and do further testing and dah dah dah dah dah as opposed to like you said the confirmation bias of the AI is going to go well if you say so well here's the thing it's not going anywhere and it's going to be in healthcare I use it in this you know I work in healthcare I work in wellness I work in product development I work in biohacking right so I use it for different reasons and I can tell you it's not going anywhere so where I think people understand in the the such same study that you guys talked about it also showed accuracy improves I think when when people provide more information and it's because you're now playing to AI strength right and when you give it structured complete data it becomes high level pattern machine matching engine right and it's like

43:59boom in fact those scenarios accuracy jumps above like 90% I think the study said and the catch is patients don't like present with clean complete data they just kind of give vague symptoms missing context emotional bias you know it complete timelines and that's where clinical reasoning matters and that's still very human right so you know it's like you use it to go to your doctor like I these are what I'm dealing with I need better questions to ask my doctor when I sit down with them use it for a tool that way more practically okay well the other thing too um is it hey I can't take my blood and run a test on my blood or it can't feel that lump uh you know and the and on my back and like what's this texture of it and all that like I I just find it kind of crazy that people are you know I understand the web MD thing back in the day and you know you you had a little little little ding and you'd go on there and be like and it give you a bunch of

45:03options I can kind of get that but when you're like you did not a whole lot of serious things I would think you would really want to waste your time asking about and otherwise it's just going to cause you unnecessary stress look you know I would say in the world of scientists as a science and you know I would say you look at things if there's feedback that gives you a reason to look at things right you know I could tell you if there wasn't such a thing as a web MD some people like myself wouldn't have gone down rabbit holes that they went down to figure out something that could help move some to needle forward you know what I mean so like you know I think when you use things and leverage them for tools and recognize them for what they are then we can I think what we have to be at a place right now is coexist right like I wish we could be at a place where it's like all gasoline cars are all electric cars right now where we are is we're hybrid right and that's where we are I think with AI right and I think that's where you have to kind of like how do we

58:44lot cooking I give you that's right because you always say when are you coming home because there's a lot going on but I got a clear I got to clear everybody out of that I did not realize I did not realize that but now that makes that makes sense so we have all kinds of stuff going on I mean as you know forever our biggest need is volunteers so if people ever consider becoming a big brother big sister volunteer we would be thrilled we serve 13 counties in North Kentucky Southeast in Indiana and Cincinnati and so always a need for that but there's so many ways people can get involved if you know I think about I think about your listeners and everybody you know different businesses people work out we love the opportunity to go into a business and just talk to the employees and just say here's what it's like to be a big brother or big sister or here's other ways you can volunteer with us and and that's a great way for us to you know anytime people hear those words then they start to think about maybe I could get mentor I you know I live the life

59:45I could I have some value in them and help the kids and you know our whole goal is that they reach their full potential and bring somebody into their life that that just kind of is consistent and shows up when they show say they're going to show up whether it's in one of our school programs or picking a kid up on our Saturday afternoon and running errands and and going to the park and talking about education and things like that so it's amazing you just have to be consistent not perfect sort of thing and then but we have events like a golf outing coming up in midway so people can support by being part part of an event like that it's a 30th anniversary of it as a Kenwood country club and it's an awesome course so we we love having we love having people come and celebrate days like that with us and there's just there's so much going on in so many ways to get involved I think I heard Jason talking I'm not sure Jason is in the background I think is Mike Bupby screwed up right now I love because I feel like the one-to-one relationship for

1:00:49for you know kids are at risk and I don't even know what the right term is now I know when I worked in a nonprofit work 20 years ago that was you know the title but nonetheless just that having that relationship is so critical now with school you know coming toward the end here is this is this a time where it's a major need for mentors or is it slough off a little bit you know what what does the end of the school year mean for you know folks who are needing or already have even a big brother or big sister well sure so the end of the year we are our kids in that program they only see their big brother or big sisters during the school year but then they can communicate they can't see each other out of school but they can communicate in other ways in heaven those these days there's so many and then they can restart at the beginning of the new year and if somebody thinks that a site based program is good for them they could even apply now and then go through all of the background checks and the references and then they're ready for the new school year and another really cool program that has to do with schools is called Beyond School Walls which is

1:01:52where pretty new it's two years that we've been doing with amazing results is that kids from a couple of schools locally juniors and seniors are bussed once a month to a partner site for example kids at Euler school are go to christ hospital once a month and meet again one on one with their big brother or big sister and so they're in a workplace and they're learning what that means and they see people working and we do a lot of programming with them about financial literacy resume building you know interviewing skills and they learn so much about real world things and when the kids graduate the whole idea is that they have a plan whether it's a career plan college plan you know what is next and that's been a fantastic uh so that's another thing for businesses to consider um you know becoming part of that which the companies love it because the kids come to them and they're influenced and necessarily need the site it's been pretty really successful so what do you find that people do most but when we're talking to uh Debra Haas uh big brothers

1:02:55and what what what what is it what I'm honestly what what is what's the uh what's a good entry level situation to be in does that make sense if a big if a big if you're a big if you want to be a big what's that what's right if it's what's the best entry level way to get into it to find out if you don't decide right so if you decide as you know honey that that what I've always done is be a big at Newport schools and I so once a week during the school year lunchtime I go over and meet with my little sister there and it's about 45 minutes and then I come back and it works for my life our life really just because of how how we live our life so a lot of people but they can leave work for 45 minutes or an hour and then come back and then and I hope people understand that that is not a throwaway event because you know and I've always been amazed at what difference that makes because these kids all they care is that you show up and you are interested in what's going on in their life and so you can sit with them at lunch and you can

1:03:55spend that time and maybe you go after the playground and you're talking to them you're somebody who doesn't have to show up but you do and it means everything to them everything even though as an adult with a busy life you think wow just 45 minutes but um and then for some people it's easier to do on a weekend and so you go and pick up your little brother or little sister at home and just run the errands you were going to do anyway and spend some time with them and like said maybe you go for ice cream or go to a restaurant you know go to Panera Skyline whatever and just order a little food and some of these kids have never been to a restaurant and you're teaching them how to do that or how to order off a menu and interact with with other people and that's big too the social interactions the thought skills we talk about all good well people want to find out more where can they go I would really just suggest googling big brothers big sisters Cincinnati because you'll get to our website you'll get the stories about us and and you really can and that's a good thing too because then you can see what it's really like all right kids to see a short like

1:10:11the LAPD moved in and made the arrest yesterday and now David who again is is quite popular among his fans he has now in custody for murder accused of murder charges have not been filed yet likely to come early next week by the way his music now that many people looking at it one song that's quite popular called romantic homicide about killing a woman and the lyrics include a blood stain shirt and well the video does and standing over a bloodied woman he's got another song that he's putting himself dead into a trunk or people are putting him into it now remember her body was found dismembered in in this trunk of the car so just a lot of aspects about this case but but he's he's in jail right now wow well so where is this guy known for anything like this is he's has he been controversial in any way shape or form or is that all the so I mean no he's 21

1:11:13years old she when she was found dismembered it was 14 years old but they apparently had met on tiktok and she was a fan of his and that she ran away from home when she was either 12 or 13 and nobody knew where she was although those who followed him said no she was kind of out in the open they thought she was a lot older but she would be on his live streams and she was seen in his entourage and in his inner circle investigators believe they had a romantic relationship but yeah some of the his music and in his videos they seemed you know kind of describe what the alleged crime here is but likely that's not probably going to play a huge role in the if it does go to trial and a trial because his attorneys would say well that is art that it's not reality of what went on that that's his art but there's a lot of people looking at the music now saying whoa this is very similar to what allegedly went on this 14 year old girl her dismembered body was

1:12:14found in that Tesla like he said registered to this singer back in September you have any other deed that was that found in his driveway was it was he driving was he pulled over and driving the car yeah it had been parked in the Hollywood Hills near his home he was doing quite well was renting a nice home that was owned by his manager and it was he was on a world tour and continued that world tour for a while even as the investigation was underway but the vehicle was determined to have been abandoned because it had not moved in the neighborhood on the street for quite a while and it was impounded and towed to an impound yard and in the impound yard it had been there for two days when workers said that they smelled what would smelled like something and the LAPD came in and opened it up and clearly her body had been in there for quite some time it was not to get I mean it is graphic but chopped up in two different body bags clearly had been

1:22:32leading in to cannabis or maybe it's a cannabis drink now or a gummy instead of just smoking a joint say that again you work half a day you literally work yeah 12 like half of the 24 hour day yes right when we try to hire people they they they turn away from this because they they're excited when they come in in the interview and we tell them say you know you just work a half a day and then they got a big smile I said you just take whatever 12 hours you want to work and and and that's the way it is they think they're getting out of it by noon right it's like a half of a nine to five years ago and let's run my girl right cool yeah that's right that's right you know what I'm from an old school generation like you guys you know and and if you like what you do and you're passionate about it you don't really seem like or you didn't seem like work to me right you know it really done but there's been times in my life we're man I've read it that I look at my watch a minute three o'clock when will it be five and now I say it's seven o'clock I still got work to do now when let me ask you Jared what what what does a typical J man day consist of because I know you've got this little this

1:23:37this empire going now what are you doing in a typical 12 hour day well I start that 12 hour day off at four 20s that's when my alarm goes off on my phone and usually I'm a little I'm awake before then and so you know I used to start my day partaking but as I've got no ground fixed they have 66 worlds around the sun come Monday I start I start my day on a vibration deck I get on this deck and I vibrate for about 10 15 minutes get all my energy flowing get all my muscles loosened up then I partake it's for someone who doesn't know much about weed other than what you teach me Jerry is is weed you said you used to do it right when you woke up was it does it have a caffeine effect to it or like you know they don't give you energy type of things you always always the stigma was or is or was I don't know that it you know you you feel like you know trials you want to see the sandwich and just sit on the couch try but you are too I mean look

1:24:39your energy is it oozes out of the microphone it you know I I'm one of those rarities I think for the majority of people it's a right relaxation my wife says it helps me calm down just enough where people can tolerate me because I get to talk to the past man I don't even know what I'm saying and they're like do what are you on I'm about to smoke weed and they're like you've got to be kids just you know just straight old better than being on some type of volume or or ADHD pharmaceutical you know I'm proud to say at 66 years old I do not take any prescription medication no blood pressure no cholesterol nothing to help me go to sleep nothing to help me get up you know none of those things I just that's my that's my little thing right there I don't drink very much anymore you know I got pretty well known for weed and whiskey and as I've gotten older the alcohol really it takes me we went to dinner party I have one glass of champagne a half a glass of red wine and that was a little tough for me to get up the next morning I just kind

1:25:39of when I got on that vibration deck I said now don't vibrate something out of my mouth you know or the other play that would be bad so Jerry for describe to people because I think that is you you pointed it out there the common misconception is because I gotta be honest with you I really I stopped smoking weed probably about 10 12 years ago just because I started getting real paranoid and stuff and I've been smoking weed since brought it like first year of college so I was 18 90 years old yeah well that's what I'm saying but that but what um but now there you could hey look if you want to have a little energy you want just if you want to go to bed you want to sit on the couch and watch cartoons and you know eat pie don't swim they have that but if you want to you know if you want to perk up and and go and do your business just like if you're having a beer or something you can do there's pot for that too and I I think it's great that

1:26:41they've developed all these strains that do that for you you know once once it became more acceptable nationally more and more scientific people research people started really drilling down into the cannabis plants and there's so many different strains of this plant that can affect you in different ways as you mentioned we've always associated with relaxation toning down tell it vegin out gelin you know enjoy a little music enjoy a little TV they got strains of weed now that'll make you not want to eat yeah I've heard that the THCV okay so we've all people smoke pot to get the munchies right got our cheeto dust all over their fingers well they've got strains now that can make your it works as an appetite suppressant you know that fool some people you know jack in the boxes sales went down late at night because of this weed okay along those lines at all the different variations and ways you can consume and what it you know it can does for you

1:27:41and all that here in recent recent recent weeks Jerry uh we uh the the state of Ohio said not and I just had been building you've talked about it before but the state said nope to these THC infused drinks I know some of our local breweries here were fighting against that and we're pretty frustrated by it because uh the you know the sales were good is that a nationwide thing where other states are putting the kibosh on the on the celters and and if so like why if all this other stuff's legal though I couldn't I couldn't a celtzer drink be legal and Jayman's opinion it's a money thing as much as anything we've got the same thing down here in that same thing down here in Texas what I believe we've learned is that Americans except THC or cannabis marijuana whatever you want to call it okay two years back they did a farm bill and they became hemp derives and in other words there's the marijuana and there's hemp both of these things are from the cannabis plant marijuana just has more of the the THC than hemp but they learned how to extract extract the THC
