Mr. Bickle's back from Philly. Back from Philly. At a good time. How'd that go? You know what roller coaster overall in terms of results, but the girls had a couple big wins.

3:09Really near big win. But we lost early on Sunday. So I got back like around one o'clock, which is actually kind of nice yesterday. You didn't go see the Liberty Bell. No, I passed the independence hall. I have gone to Philly for probably 10 years now for volleyball tournaments everywhere. And I have done the obligatory Liberty Bell walk. Sure. I heard it's cracked. There is a crack. There's a crack. It's someone exciting to see it, but it fades about two seconds after you see it. I forgot why it's cracked or how it got cracked. No idea. I guess she would know that, but no idea. That's faded. I have done that. My buddy always hits me up and goes, I guess I'm not a connoisseur of it. He says, have you gone to Angelo's yet? Have you gone to Angelo's yet? He keeps pounding me. Is that a cheesesteak place? Yeah. And I'm like, no, it was a mile and a half away. I wasn't going to get my car out of the parking garage or now I wasn't going to pay Uber to drive the Angelo's. They have other places that have steak and cheeses. Of course.

4:10And they are good. And they're all good. But it's not like like a getting a cheesesteak. A good cheesesteak is hard to do. Especially it doesn't have to be in Philadelphia either. It doesn't have to be in Philly. If a cheesesteak is your culinary claim to fame for your city. But I will say this. Your city's not doing so great. In my opinion. So when you go to these events and you guys have done this with your kids for whatever sports you guys are involved in, and when there are a lot of kids, you kind of take over a city. It's hard oftentimes to find restaurants, right? And you want to do a team dinner and that's kind of a thing. You do one team dinner with you that for a weekend, whatever blah, blah, blah. But then you have to eat other times. And it's sometimes it's difficult if you have a large group of all places. And I forget the name of it. It doesn't matter. We found a sports bar that I'm telling you, it had the best food of a sports bar. I mean, it was like good food. Okay. And good prices. Yeah. And it was great about it is when you walk by on the street, it looks like just a bar, right? And you go, well, there's no room here for kids. It's just a bar

5:12very thin. But then if you really investigated, there's a back dining room empty, right? So it's the perfect spot empty dining room, front loaded bar. No one knows it exists. Dollar wings. Okay. All day, every day, 24, seven dollar wings. Pretty solid. That's a good start. How many do you put down 12 bucks? We had a variety of things. We did 12. I shared with my way. 12 wings. Um, a variety of dollar, dollar wings all the time. All the time. Wow. What is it? What is this? I mean, long as they're pretty good. That's, I mean, if they suck, they're not worth a lot. I mean, it's hard to mess up wings, right? In some places probably can. But they work. But you could, you could have tiny wings. They worked on my ginormous wings. I'm sure. I'm sure. Yeah. You know, I would say they were probably on the smaller side. I think winged purists, they don't want the big ginormous wings. Because that's right. It makes them less crispy and less tasty. They were, to me, they were like, probably, I would say mediums. Yeah, I mean,

6:13I think mediums. They were perfect for wings and dollar wings. Variety of all that actually had a little Asian flavor to it or some Asian type of dishes. Right. Um, and then we had a steak and cheese for $12. Might have been the best steak and cheese I've ever had. How's that place making any money? I have no idea. It's a hidden gem alcohol. And it, yeah, it just was like a place where the boozers go. And then the back of it, though, you could sit down and eat. And that's now my new favorite spot. Carlos was there. Carlos was not there. His kids, uh, but he's always was drafted. But that was probably my favorite meal of the, and that's always kind of the thing is where are we going to eat? And is there going to be a line? Right. It's always like a line in the morning to find coffee. Uh, you know, the last thing you want to do is be behind 27 people at the Marriott to get your coffee. Don't want to forget annoying. He that Joe in the morning. So yeah. Good time. Yeah. My buddies from Philly. And he told me the best cheese take place. I don't think he said he didn't say angelos. He didn't say angelos. Yeah, I don't know. It's their

7:15one that's famous. I assumed it was a couple of packs of the fans. Don't even have two fans. Those are the famous. I don't know. I'd have to text them, but it might have been that one. Just expanded down into Baltimore recently. Really? Yes. Open up a spot. The one I went to was just what made it good was obviously it wasn't steak them, right? Like, you know, we normally get a steak or you can't just flat frozen. It was a sheet of meat. It was some sort of thicker meat. I can't remember. I'll pop my head. All right. It was just delicious. Very simple and just delicious. Okay. Good. Personally, I think Jersey mics makes for me and cheese stick. I've never had their cheese stick. I tend to go with the Italian when I go to Jersey mics. But I told him and many people know in Philly about the redding terminal, right? That's where you go. And it just says, it's an unbelievable place to eat. I'm not that familiar with Billy. So I don't know. I think about it. Okay. So if you've been in the city and you've been there for whatever reason, you've probably been to the redding market, whatever. And did you just have a million little, they're not key hospital, you know, a pretzel place. Yeah. And a, you know,

8:16a place where they they make crepes and a place where they make burgers and a place where they make steak and cheese is a piece. Everything could think of raw meat, Rossi food. It's just an open market. But it's, you know, under this building. Yeah. Everybody. Everybody goes there and gets the pretzel with like the sausage, the sausage wrapped pretzels with cheese. Sounds so good. They are so good. I'm sure they're delicious. And I was craving it on Sunday. It was closed on Sunday. And I was catatonic. I was I mean, I was crestfallen when I went to the Amish market about a month ago. And they have a pretzel place that has pretzels pretzels wrapped around hot dogs. Yes. And I was like, I'm definitely going to grab a bag of probably a half dozen pretzels on the way out. Yeah. So good. The line was 30 people. Yeah. And I just couldn't wait in that line. A certain spot just had lines because people just like it. I walked by and I, I just smelled the aroma of the melting butter on the on the pretzels. I realized I wouldn't be eating one

9:20of the way home. Yeah. And I was, that was devastating. It made me think even though it's not particularly healthy on any level, I should open a pretzel spot. I really should. I don't think the rest of it. I've heard worse ideas from you. Yeah. I don't think it's everyone out of business. Probably not. It's just so delicious. I love a hot, delicious pretzel slatted with butter and salt. Everybody then then wrapping around a turkey dog, just a sausage, a hot cheese, dip it in cheese, barbecue sauce, honey mustard, whatever you want. Of course. It's great. Yeah. How could you go wrong? We're going to open a pretzel stand together. I don't know how to go. I don't know how you could go wrong. It was by far the most popular spot. And the ants had about a hundred year head start office. Is that the problem? Of course. But you open up your own mom and pop these don't. Okay. Yeah. That's one burger place. I mean, you know, okay. Let's let's draw this on. Is that redding terminal? That's right in downtown. Yes. Yeah. Right across the street for the convention center. I think you go there all the time. I think it's pretty close to there's a low hotel and not too far from there. I stayed there

10:21for a wedding, which isn't that far from the U bar. Surprise. You didn't check down a couple blocks to the U bar. If I had known where it was, I would have walked by it. You should at least walk by it. In fact, I could have walked by it and didn't know. Right. I'm fairly oblivious when I'm walking around the town. I should have texted. I don't pay that much attention. Yeah. Not really my thing. I go from point A to point B. I understand. Yeah. So Philly was good. It's fine. Yeah. It's fine. When's the next time you're going to Philly. Next year. Next year. Yeah. I was in your stomping grounds for a soccer tournament Richmond since you went to the University Richmond.
