adjustment Eastern adjustment group LLP what inspired you to create this powerful group quite honestly first-hand experience with being mistreated by my insurance company back in 2007 when I when I purchased my first home I was very I had an extreme lack of knowledge about insurance claim process of the procedures and I had some extreme water damage at my home and I call the insurance company which will remain nameless for now and they basically told me that there was no coverage for my damages and I pretty much took it on the chin I didn't know any better and then years later once I got into this business once I was introduced to this line of work and once I was introduced to this practice in this craft I realized that years prior they they pretty much burnt me for about fifteen thousand dollars and that's a lot of money it is it's a lot of

money to a first-time homeowner it's a lot of money to a 20-year homeowner when you have damages that should be absolutely covered by your insurance company so once I started to learn and see how they play word play word games and semantics and and sometimes go above and beyond to to ingestly deny claims it was it was it was it was it was it was it had a steam from there yeah and I know that a lot of people go through these issues and circumstances when it comes to things that are happening in their house and to their house how does your company bring peace of mind to families during you know one of the most stressful times in their lives I pride myself for education you know like I said I was uninformed early on when I had my my my first home property damage claim experience and knowledge is power knowledge is key so what I pride myself for is educating our client base on the claims process how the policy works what

is covered what is not covered and letting them know my strategies on how to bring their claim to a successful peace status so that they can have adequate funds for their repairs so you know I guess in short to answer your question education patience a lot of handholding and just giving the knowledge and the information along the way while I'm doing the job and you know I appreciate it about that about you when you said you know holding their hand through the process because some people they don't want to hold folks hand they want to take what's in their hand and in their bank accounts and again when I take a shot to anybody we just know what a lot of people have experience and that's why when I had the opportunity to talk with you know Tim McI he was telling me about you know the company the organization and how it's built on honesty how it's built on trust and integrity you know how do you and I'm gonna ask Tim McI this question how do you walk alongside your clients emotionally as well as professionally relationships are built you know we recognize that when

people call us it's that one of the most unfortunate times during their recent you know it's during their recent time you know all of our homes and our personal property oftentimes our most prized physical possession and when they're damaged it's a major ordeal and you have to be able to make sure that you you have somebody that you're working with that you trust to manage to manage the situation so relationships to build you know I spend at least an hour with each client getting a very good understanding of who they are what's what their primary concerns are what their objectives are you know the home could be effective to the point where you have an elderly parent that you're taking care of all right so this bathroom situation is of urgency because you got an elderly parent take care of you may have a disabled child okay you may have someone who's who's reliant on a medical equipment that runs on electric on power and the electricity may be compromised in the home so everyone's

situation is unique okay everyone's situation is personal to them so I get a very good understanding of of who they are in a unique circumstances and and along with the education piece that's how I you know wrap my arm around that the client educationally as well as cater to their unique physical needs throughout the claim process and I think there's an excellent answer because people need to know the authenticity of what you guys are bringing to the table so Steve I want to ask you this question how do you restore confidence in people who feel overwhelmed or uncertain about you know what they're going through how do you how do you help them well the one of the key roles of our of our duty is to take that unease away put it on our shoulders all right you're uncomfortable you're you're uncomfortable about the process you're stressed out you don't know how to talk to the insurance company they're using a lot of language that you're not familiar with they're talking at you they're talking aggressively they're

demanding information and demanding documentation they're using language of version of verbiage that you're not accustomed to and it can become stressful and an emotional burden and people oftentimes get emotionally beat down and drain and just walk away through their hands up and their claim goes unresolved you let us let a public adjust to their Eastern Adjustment Group called demokai call myself we take the stress off your off your off your shoulders because we know what to say well we need we need to have that phone number what is the number where people can reach you where they can have that stress relief that number is called Timokai Evans okay Timokai can be reached directly on his cell phone Timokai is 609 828 5678 Timokai Evans Public Adjuster Eastern Adjustment Group I'm Steve Johnson Public Adjuster I can be reached directly at 267 290 7084 all right 7084 all right everybody 7084 7084 okay and so this is the key is because you guys have been in the game for a while you

got some skin in the game you know what it is and you know what it's not your expertise and process what you do better those are the kind of questions I'm going to ask you right now and again when I'm taking shots at anybody we just want to talk about what you guys have brought to the table and what you bring to the table at Eastern Adjustment Group so how does your team uncover damages that were you know that the untrained eye might not be able to to recognize or the untrained eye might miss we know what we're looking at we know what we're looking for okay I've developed I've developed a hawk eye all the guys in the company came up under the same under the same training regiment everybody has the hawk eye or the eagle eye we know what we're looking at we know what we're looking for we know what the insurance company see we know what the insurance company should not see we know what to show we know what not to show them okay we understand the policies we understand what the The damage looks like we understand what covered damage looks like.

We understand what not covered damage looks like. So it's really all about, you know, training, education and experience coming up on 15 years. And I've certainly got the more than 10,000 hours required to be some sort of subject matter expert. Oh, absolutely not some sort of you are the expert. That's one of the reasons why we are connected and we're talking today because we want everybody to know about what you guys are capable of doing. And because of the honesty that I received from Tim McIe, he made it very clear to me. Again, we saw all about integrity, brother markets, and that's what we do. So how do you help, you know, prevent those costly mistakes that might occur? You know, when people are trying to get their adjustments and going through their insurance companies, how do you help, you know, prevent those, you know, costly mistakes that people might have to deal with? Education, education, anytime I can get in front of a group of big people, Tim McIe, myself, I'm going to numerous engagements where we can touch dozens of

people at a time and speak and give the information. There are certain things that simply just should not be said. There's a buzzwords. Number one, and I'm going to take this opportunity to teach. All right, absolutely. Insurance claims, homeowners insurance claims cover one time, sudden, accidental, spontaneous event. They do not cover anything that has been occurring over a period of time, nothing long going, nothing, nothing ongoing, nothing long term. So when people call the insurance company and say the wrong things, the claim is immediately denied. Well, every time it rains, the roof leaks in the rear bedroom. Denied. Wow. Well, every time it rains, we get water in the basement denied. Well, I've got mold in my bathroom. That's denied too, because mold is a clear indication that there's been some sort of ongoing moisture occurrence over a period of time. Wow. This is what I want y'all to do right now. Give everybody the website really quickly because they need to know when

they're having issues that they need to be careful of buzzwords and the way that they can contact you is through what website? The website is eastclaims.com. Eastclaims.com gives some information about the company. It shows who we are and what we do. There's a couple, there's a couple customer, customer testimonies on there, but the majority of them can simply be found with a Google search. And that's what we're talking about, America and all around the globe, that these two, I call y'all the dynamic duo because y'all, y'all not playing. I don't know who's back me in. I don't know who's back me in. I don't know who's robbing, but I know that y'all are the dynamic duo, rocking out over God, them city, which is America. Now, Tim, I want to ask you, yes sir, how do you ensure your clients receive a full fair and timely settlement? How do you do that? Well, my approach is to thoroughly explain the process and also the declarations

page of your insurance policy. Everyone should take a thorough look, sit down and read your first page, which is called your text page or declaration sheet. It declares everything that you are currently paying for. And you're going to see a list of letters, A, B, C, D, E, sometimes F and G. And all of them have a specified wording and a numerical value attached to them. They tell you what you're paying for and how much. That is one of the key points when we are sitting down with a homeowner to explain to them how their policy works with the damage inside the property. And that's one of the key factors that really brings home a warm feeling, so to speak, when we are talking to the homeowner to thoroughly explain how it works with the damage that's inside the home. And when we carry that over, you really come out with a great outcome.

And one of my best, best moments is when I get a chance to deliver the check to the homeowner. It's a beautiful field. So Timekai, let me ask you two questions. Why is it crucial for homeowners and business owners to have representation? Why is that so important? Well, not to sound like we're hating, so to speak, but it's too improletically important because the representation automatically demands that we are now standing in front of the line of fire for the homeowner. We are representing you on your claim. And when the insurance company sees the insurer providers sees a letter of representation, they automatically understand, okay, Mrs. Green, Mrs. Jones, she's not playing, she has representation. And that in itself speaks volumes to the insurance companies who understand the effectiveness

of what public contrastors actually do. And to the homeowner, it takes the heavy lifting off of their shoulders. Timekai, I'm sorry, yeah. No, no, go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, it kind of just, we do the heavy lifting, so to speak. We take care of all of the nuances, the ins and outs, the verbiage. And we ensure that the homeowner is thoroughly relaxed and understood about the process. And that's how we achieve that goal. Yeah, now, what does it mean to speak the same language as the insurance companies? Because one of the things that you guys said, you know, language is a big thing. Sometimes people will, you know, they'll flip the script, so to speak. But how is it? Why is that so important to speak the same language as the insurance companies? Because oftentimes homeowners will pick up the phone and call their insurance provider and say, hey, you know, my hot water heater has bursted and it's water all over the place

and my basement is flooded and right away you're denied. Because of certain verbiage that you've used, the flood has never covered on your policy. It takes a specific type of flood coverage and that has its own set of extra-sensiometers if you will. So the understanding of verbiage is definitely important because we're able to use particular strategies to solve the homeowners concern. And also, get to the core of what the problem is inside the home concerning the estimates and exactly what we're looking to have covered and paid out for the home on it for their claim. Wow. And again, this is why it's important that we have an adjustment company that's really being open, honest, and transparent. Because again, we talked about this.

Absolutely. A lot of people are so confused, a lot of people are lost and they don't know what to do. So I'm going to ask this question to Steve. Steve, if you will, how do you help your clients, you know, discover the ultimate value of their claim? Well, how do I help the clients discover the ultimate? Oftentimes, clients have no idea what their claim is truly worth. And by the time this is very true, by the time that the claim is settled, they're pleasantly surprised at the value. So I come in, I identify what's going on, I photodocument the damage. I explained to them exactly how this set of damage is going to arrive at a certain set of physical results for repair. I never talked numbers with clients. I'd like to deliver the numbers. Ooh, that's right. I don't talk numbers with clients at the onset.

I hate to over-promise and under-deliver and I hate to under-promise and over-deliver. Either way, I can't win, okay? But what I always make sure that we do is we guarantee them that they're going to be paid for a certain set of repairs, okay? And that certain set of repairs obviously equates to dollars and sets. So as long as they have a reasonable understanding of the certain set of repairs, by the time they get the dollars and sets, associated with that set of repairs, they're usually very, very happy. And that's what we're talking about. People being happy with the services that you are providing, because again, there are a lot of people that aren't really helping the client, they're taking the client for granted. That's what it's been seeming like, because you've went through this your own self, Steve. So you know what this is all about and this is what prompted you and inspired you to create an agency which is going out there touching the masses.

Again, I like to continue to repeat this over and over again, because folks are listening and I want them to know that they can contact you via your website, which is... Website is eastclaims.com And the phone number for Timekai is... That will be 609-828-5678 And also the phone number to Steve Johnson is... Steve Johnson is 267-290-7084 All right, everybody. I want to let y'all know you definitely want to reach out to this company right here. They're helping people to get their adjustments correct and get their adjustments right. Eastern Adjustment Group is readily available for you, you and all of you. This has been certified by the element of inspirationalist Brother Marcus. As I say on the radio, don't touch that dial but in this case, don't touch that podcast. Well, blah, blah, blah, blah, but Steve, before we go, I have a couple of quick questions for you.

Well, one, how can you give us some examples on what people really need to look out for from some experiences that you've noticed? Oh, absolutely. When you're still, when your roof is leaking, after the storm, when the roof starts leaking, that's when you want to give Tim a car or myself a call. When the roof is leaking from the storm, that very well may be a covered claim. When that bathroom starts leaking, okay? The second floor bathroom is leaking down. It's destroying the living room in the first floor, ceiling and dining rooms and living room dining rooms, ceilings, walls and floors. That's what you want to give us a call about. If it's correlated overflows, you have water over place. The hot water tank leaks and you've got water over place. You want to give Tim a call. Or you want to give me a call. What the car runs into the building. If the car goes through the driveway, if the tree falls on the house, if there's a fire God forbid, any type of damage, okay? Any type of damage should be inspected by a qualified public adjuster. We can take a look at it and figure out if it's claim worthy.

And believe it or not, even things that should be as broken tiles. If you, you know, you got a lot of parts and you need a lot of cooking going on around holiday time and, you know, the fire falls off the counter and it breaks the kitchen floor tile. Believe it or not, oftentimes that could be a payable claim. So there's all types of things that are covered in people's homes and people just don't realize it. So any type of damage, anything that occurs, give Tim a call, give myself a call, we'll come out, we'll do a thorough inspection and come up with a strategy to guide the claim forward. All right, well, you heard it from the dynamic duo. And we're going to give you Tim Akai's number is 609-828-5678. And then you can also contact the owner, Steve Johnson at 267-290-7084. With that being said, everybody, as I said before, don't touch that down, don't touch that podcast, don't touch nothing. Stay close, it's the element of inspirationalist on the elements of inspiration show.
