Easter Tram Closures: Plan Ahead for Greater Manchester Upgrades

These are the first major works of the year, with no trams running on the Altrinsham, Eccles, and Trafford Parklines all day from Friday, April 3, to Monday, April 6. The upgrades are part of a 150 million pound investment to make the network more reliable and safe. Passengers will replace more than one kilometer of track on the Altrinsham line, plus prep work between Trafford Bar and Dean's Gate Castlefield for later, replacements.
