The operation kicked off at 7am, last Thursday, April 2nd, and wrapped at 7am this morning. Stopped spotted some wild speeds, like one driver blasting 138 kilometers per hour in a 50-zone in temporary, and another at 1, 102 in a 60-zone in Dublin. These stops highlight the real risks out there, with three fatalities and five serious injury crashes over the weekend alone. Families are left shattered, and it's a stark reminder that one bad choice behind the wheel can end lives forever. Yesterday brought more heartbreak, a man in his 50s died in a single vehicle crash in County Cork, while a woman in her 40s suffered serious.
