The Kidcratic Morning Show is back. Back from Easter weekend. Hopefully everybody's having a wonderful Monday. Oh, I got six dollars. You got six dollars from my Easter egg hunt. Come on now, you're rich. I'm your retire. Uh-huh. Nope. He's still at 1.4, 1.6, and a lot of money. Well, away from retirement. Yeah. Daniel got 15. Because you did it. You did a Easter egg hunt. Well, we did too. There was one with little kids and we were hunting for chocolate and money and the other one was an adult Easter egg hunt. We did an Easter egg hunt for my kids because we had older kids and then the younger kids. And this is a really good idea. My wife found it online. She had prizes like four different prizes, candy gift cards, whatever it was, and whatever that price is, we put letters out in the yard for them to find. And they had to spell out the prize. And whoever got the final letter of each prize claimed it. Oh, only the final

2:04letter. Only the final letter. So we got pretty competitive between my daughter and my son. Great idea. Which was really fun. Now, Kelly Raspberry and Audrey, you guys were at a regular Easter egg hunt. Well, it wasn't regular. It was massive. It was massive. Regular as in there's eggs and kids and candy. Right. And there's potential. There was like a golden egg hidden amongst, you know, it was like waves of children. They divided them up into age groups and then group A, group B, or something like that. And inside the golden eggs, you could get a $50 gift card. Oh, wow. Yes. So those were highly sought after. Yeah, I bet. I bet. Here's the thing about that I noticed about Easter egg hunts. There's always going to be somebody left on happy. Oh, my ways. It is usually the mom's right because the event is run great. The Easter egg hunts are perfect. The Easter bunnies happy and hopping all over the place and kids taking pictures. But there's always going to be people that are upset. And nobody knew that more than Audrey this weekend. Yeah. So I was there for the first half of the event. And then Kelly came for the second, which by the way, the

3:07worst thing ever is co-hosting an event with Kelly Raspberry because people aren't coming to see me. Let's be so for real. They were not there to see me. They were there to win a egg. Do you know how many people came up to do like, where's Kelly? And Kelly was going to be like, I'm so sorry. Welcome to the kid kind of 30 years of my life. Oh, you're like, here are you. Yeah. So anyway, I'm hosting the start of the event. So there's probably six races I did. And I did the introduction on stage. I'm like, Hey, everyone, welcome, blah, blah. This is how it's going to go. Now there was also a DJ there. Like play the music and do the sound system stuff. And he brought his friend that was like helping him do that. But his friend and him also got the same email I got with the details of what I'm supposed to say throughout the race and such. They got to be informed. So there was a little bit of cross wires crossed where the buddy of the DJ thought that he was going to do my job. Like so he was confused that he didn't know. And so I did the introduction. It was a miscommunication. That happened. So I had notes on about five minutes before the first race helping everyone line

4:11up and then five and then calling them into the field and then doing a countdown and saying, start for the first race. He also got those notes. So like before I could do the five minute thing to bring everyone on the field, he went in like 10 minutes before and started it the first race. And before they were even on on the field. So how was supposed to work was we were supposed to call everyone on and then do the countdown and then everyone starts at once for the eggs. It was a whoopsie daisy there. Yeah. So he goes on that field and he's like, what's go! And then all the kids who are not even on the field yet started running to the field going for the eggs again miscommunication. And he was a miscommunication event was so well organized that this was just the one part where he didn't know. And he fixed it real quick because they went and you know, told him how was supposed to go. But after that first race, y'all, I'm so glad my career in HR didn't pan out because these mobs were so mad. And because I had the microphone,

5:13they thought it was your in charge. Yeah. Yeah. The microphone. Yeah. I was like, y'all this is not my department. I don't work here. Like I don't and I am being surrounded by moms. Like he would have taken all of the Avengers to get them off of me. Like they were ready to go at me. Where are they? It's not fair. My kidding. Yes, they were. And I quote, do you know how many times I heard this from the moms? And I quote, I paid $10 for this. I paid $10 for this. They do her rightfully upset. They do have a point. No, they were right. And that's what I was saying to them. I'm like, y'all are so right. Like I get why you're upset. I'm gonna see what I can do about this. I have no authority here. But I'm a work something out. And so we go talk about it. What we did was we ended up letting them go with the second group. Now what I was afraid of was the second group moms were going to be upset about this because there's less eggs for them. More competition. Yeah, more competition. However, I didn't hear from the second group moms, but I was also like hiding a lot between the races after that because they were all so mad at me. And I was so stressed out. I have anxiety like Anna. And so I'm doing all my strategies. I'm doing my progressive muscle

6:15relaxation. I'm doing my three three three three things I can see three things I can hear three things I can feel my yeah, I was trying to call myself. I was not the right person. You know the work. My mind was fine. I'm not. I think Kelly, but it's time Kelly got there. Everything was smooth sailing. I just talked for two hours straight. I was pulling out my best material. There you go. Your ace stuff. Like what? Easter stand up. How many of you are seven? Lures and seven euros. Where's my eight-year-olds? Where's my nine-year-old? I use that a lot. Okay. Pretty great. You're so funny. Literally because Kelly's first group she did for the egg run. They were lined up around the field before we brought them on. And there were people in that like Kelly. I didn't hear that stuff one time when I was two years old. I was getting to know you Audrey. They need to know. I knew no one would know who I was. If they did I would be really

7:16upset if nobody recognized me. I've been here a long time. That would be a huge colossal failure. Where my hundred-year-old is. No, we did have a couple of incidents with mine. It's just you know when the kids get older they get more competitive. Yeah. It's so funny though you don't have because they made it easy. They just laid the eggs out. There's a thousand eggs and kids just run over them. It's like just stop and bend over and put the egg. They just run. They don't even pay attention. But they're looking for the gold eggs which have the gift certificates and then there's strips of paper. And so as they get older they got a little a little violent. A little aggressive. That's a better word. Like somebody would open the egg and then everybody went to grab the paper and then there's like five pieces of this little strip of paper and everybody came up to me with like a little tiny piece of paper. Like where do I get the gift certificate? Loupoles. Loupoles. How do you prove who had the first strip of paper? Also. The golden egg with the younger kids. You know who's after that? The parents.

8:18The parents. So we had to make an announcement about that. Okay. They pay ten dollars. Well this is not about this is not a parents Easter egg. It's not a baby. So when our children's Easter egg had it. I did it with Daniel's family. We did it at Easter egg hunt like with the kids and the grownups. Me Daniel's uncle and his two aunts are all going after this orange egg. I was quicker than all of them but it was really fun to snap that egg and be like, ah sorry you lose. Well this is one man because the first group was for one to three year olds left is like one year old at the start. Random the golden egg and then went back for him. Well he's got to help the little guy out. Sounds very reminiscent of the famous kid credit morning show. That's one of the one and never again. Easter egg hunt of I don't know 2001 or something like that. When's the last time y'all I was an adult. Did it Easter egg hunt? I'm the egg hider. It's been a while since I did it too but because I did it I'm y'all got to do it. We got to do one for the show. An adult Easter egg hunt for you guys. I just found out that I'm the best egg hider because we found a egg that I had two years ago.

9:21Oh my god. Yeah. And the ground in it. It was it was a wrapper. The chocolate was all gone. Chocolate. Yeah. Yeah. Like somebody ate the chocolate and put the wrapper back in the egg. I think it melted and disintegrated and there was like nothing left. Cause it survived two summers. It was like two years. It's been in doing last year I don't think.
