What a performance it was, she got all the way to the semi-finals. It was quite incredible. She announced herself on the scene and beat Eagish Viontech in dramatic fashion. It was incredible. She wasn't able to go the full distance, but it was a

2:10damn good slog. A three set loss to Jess Pagula in the semi-finals. It was just a fairytale. Will we get the same fairytale this year? Everybody knows who she is, but she's still been getting better. She's got a tough match on her hands. Laura Seagamund, she had to go through the first round, whereas Y'all had a buy. Then Seagamund knocked out another good young player, which is Petra Masinko from Croatia. She did it in straight sets, 6464, and she shouldn't be sniffed out because Laura Seagamund, she has been to the quarterfinals of the French Open. Last year, she was in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, and she was in the third round of the Australian Open last year and the US Open last year. She's a good player. She's a powerful player. And when she gets going, she's tough to compete

3:13with, but she doesn't have the type of support that Alex Y'alla has, and I think that when she has the crowd against her, she tends to struggle a little bit, Laura Seagamund. And that's what makes this match so interesting. Obviously, the last time we saw Y'alla, that was at Indian Worlds, and she went out. It was a little bit disappointing, but we know that every time that she takes a loss, there's a learning lesson, and she'll come back even stronger. So what did she learn from her heavy defeat, I would say, against Linda Noscova? Well, Noscova very highly ranked for one. And Laura Seagamund, not as highly ranked, she did have a good match against Svitalina, though, went three sets at Indian Worlds, but this, this is a real, real close matchup. It's a really dangerous first round of second round for Seagamund, but first match for Y'alla.

4:21It's really tough to call. There's a lot of people already looking past this and looking for Y'alla's route all the way through to the final. They're saying that she'd play, and this is the big one. I mean, if she beats Laura Seagamund, she's more than likely going to play Ega Shvee on tech. Again, in Miami, I mean, who doesn't want to see that again? Last year's quarter final, the big scalp that she managed to get, and she would be relishing the chance to play her again. Ega maybe just wants to get some revenge. She's got Magdala Net to get through first, though. I'm praying for that one. And if she was to beat Ega more than likely, you get Mukova. Then you get potentially Unboko or Andreiva, Goff or Nissimova, and then Saba Lenko or a backiner in the final. I mean, that's got to be one of the craziest routes to a final I've ever seen. Because she's playing Laura Seagamund. It's going to be tough. There's no denying that. But I think it's going to be a three-set match, and I think Ega will win in three sets.
