The Philadelphia Eagles have reworked Kicker Jake Elliott's contract, ensuring he stays

with the team through at least the 2026 season.

Elliott agreed to a $1 million pay cut, dropping his cash earnings from $6 million to $5

million, with the full amount now.

This tweak saves the Eagles just over $240,000 against the salary cap, trimming his

cap hit from about $4.9 million to $4.7 million.

His overall deal still runs through 2028, with no changes there.

Elliott had a rough 2025, hitting only 74% of his field goals at 20 out of 27, and struggling

badly from 50 yards or more at 4 out of 8.

Over the last two seasons, his long-range success sits at just 33%, the worst in the league.

Despite that, the team stands by him, pointing to his career highs like over 1,000 points
