Eagles Face Trade Talks for Jalen Carter

0:00With the NFL today, March 8th, the Philadelphia Eagles recently signed defensive tackle Jordan Davis to a long-term extension and now other teams are calling about his teammate, Jalen Carter. Reports say five squads have reached out with trade interest, the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Las Vegas Raiders. Carter, a first-round pick from Georgia, qualifies for a new contract this year. But he has two years remaining on his rookie deal, counting the fifth-year option. Team leaders must decide if they want to invest heavily in both interior linemen, which might spark more trade chatter down the line. With strong Super Bowl goals, though, Philly seems unlikely to deal Carter unless an irresistible offer comes along.
