Spooktober comes to a close as we culminate with this final horror comic of the Halloween season. Kirie's life was completely normal, loving family, plenty of friends, and even a spooky goth bf who is definitely not a Junji Ito self-insert. However, things begin to go wrong as her boyfriend's (Shuichi) father begins to delve into a new obsession, from which all things begin to spiral out of control. A whirling force of horror sucks the town in, with those involved finding themselves unaware until its too late. This week, Matt, Sam, Jae, and Jacob read and discuss Uzumaki by Junji Ito.
