About this episode
Los acadianos fueron colonos franceses establecidos en lo que hoy es Nueva Escocia, Canadá, durante el siglo XVII. En 1755, en un evento conocido como Le Grand Dérangement o Gran Deportación, miles de ellos fueron expulsados por los británicos y muchos se asentaron en Luisiana, donde evolucionaron como la comunidad cajún.
