Miko Yotsuya's gift to see the undead if more of a curse, as she has the ability to see the gruesome depictions of the departed. The horrifying monsters just want someone to talk to, or maybe just cut up a little bit, but Miko isn't about to be their punching bag. She puts on her best poker face to help keep the supernatural at bay, but it seems her powers are growing by the day, and eventually some sinister specter is going to be unable to not notice her.
