Duke Secures ACC Title, Crushes N.C. State

The number one ranked Blue Devils improved to 28 wins and two losses overall, 16-1 into ACC. This win locked up their outright regular season conference title and extended their streak to six straight victories. NC State dropped to 19-11, 10-7 in the league, marking their third loss in a row. The Wolfpack hung tough early, tying the game at 18 with about 11 minutes left in the first half. They surprised Duke with a two-three zone defense, something new for them this season. But Duke adjusted quickly, going on a 9-0 run sparked by freshman star Cameron Booser to take control. Booser led everyone with 26 points on 8-10 shooting, including 9-11 free throws. Isaiah Evans, Dame Tsar, and Patrick Engongba also scored in double figures for Duke's balanced attack.
