Duke's ACC Title Threatened by Miami's Inside Knowledge

They just clinched the outright regular season title and earned the number one seed in the ACC tournament after strong wins over number 13. Virginia's 77-51 and North Carolina State 93-64. The team is on a seven-game winning streak, blowing out opponents by an average of 23.4 points per game. Most of those victories came by double digits, including several by more than 25 points, showing their total control over conference play. No one in the ACC matches Duke's level right now, but Miami Hurricanes stand out as a real challenge. Their 23 and 6 overall ranked number 22 nationally and hold third place in the league at 12 wins and four losses under. First year head coach, Jay Lucas. Lucas gives Miami an edge because he worked as an assistant and then associate head coach at Duke, starting in 2022, so he knows exactly how John Shire runs his program better than any other ACC coach.
