They're ranked number one in the AP poll in the NCAA net rankings. The team clinched the ACC regular season title and followed it up with the tournament championship, beating Virginia 74-70 in. Charlotte, that earned them the number one overall seed in the men's NCAA tournament for the East Region. Their run starts Thursday at Bon C. Course Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, against Siena, who finished 23 and 11. If they advance, Duke faces the winner of number eight Ohio State, or number nine TCU on Saturday, also in Greenville. The Blue Devils have dealt with some injuries lately. Big man, Ongongba, missed time with foot soreness, but should be ready for the NCAAs. Meanwhile, heart of the team player Foster had foot surgery after the regular season finale against North Carolina. Coach John Shire says he might not return until the final four, if at all.
