It's a moody tribute marking the two-year anniversary of his dad, Almond Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts, passing away at 80. He co-wrote it with Stovon right after Dickey's death on April 18th, 2024, pulling in vibes from Pink Floyd and George, Harrison. Dwayne's been jamming in his father's great Southern band since 2005 and teams up with Greg Almond's son Devin in the Almond Betts band for their yearly revival tours. Betts calls it haunting yet universal, capturing that flood of emotions when you lose someone close, mixed with relief they're no longer suffering. He got vulnerable writing it, but music keeps his dad writing shotgun on stage, especially cherishing those sober years when Dickey saw him get his, live straight.
