The tournament has begun. We're gonna make our predictions. We're over the end of the season for FSU. Baseball! World Baseball Classic Included Florida State Baseball Big Series win since we talked last, so we'll touch on it all. Touch it! Touch it! Touch it all, man. Try to touch it.

1:02I haven't asked you about the Duke game. That was a close game. You gotta touch it! I know. A lot of what is. Oh, yeah. We're gonna talk about the FSU declining a possible invitation to the NIT. So, their season ends at 17 and 14. 18, I'm counting the tournament win 18 and 14. 15 and 15. 15, we're not counting them all. That's right, 18 and 15. Count the win, not the loss. Yeah, 11 and 9 if you want to, you know, but- 11 and 8. What do you think about them not going to the NIT? I do whatever. Players didn't want to go and don't go. Yeah. Whatever's the NIT? Yeah, you know. I kind of wish Norville would have had the same foresight a few years ago in the yard. Right.

2:02Yeah, it's good. It cares. Yeah. I do get a kick out of teams like SMU and NC State losing in the play-in game. It's like, yeah. Well, there you go. I mean- Right. Do you want one of those teams deserve to be there in this? Nope. Nope. But I'm- Yeah, I'm fine with that. I don't really care. Yeah. I mean, I would have liked to see him keep playing, but if the players don't want to play, they're- Right. Just- Yeah, you don't want to go out on a note, like, losing to some, like, mid-major. Right. You know, on a bad note. You got to- You do it without players or with the players half-ass. Yeah, yeah. If you- They're not in it, then, no, I like the fact that they made- Let them vote on it and I kind of wish they voted to play. But something tells me there's no bonus or anything for it. So it's just like, let's just move on. Yeah, I- I think it is just- It- It pales in comparison to what it used to be. Right. A lot like ball-regular ball games and football.

3:03Right. It used to be at the garden, man. And the- You know, the final four was in the garden. Yeah. It was on ESPN. Right. And it was- It was like the nights that the tournament wasn't on during the tournament. Yeah. The tournament NCAA tournament snub teams that would be in the United States. Yeah, they would play it. Good basketball team. And now it's just- Yeah. With the NIL, it's just- No one's going to risk it. Right. And FSU declines. So that's the end of their season, the tournament underway. My final four. I got Houston in the South. Duke in the East. And then the- I got Arizona in Michigan. So three one-seeds are two. I'll just pick all the one-seeds, man. There you go, man. I don't- I don't even know what the bracket is, but- Well, Florida. They're going to- I already know if Florida's going to be there-

4:03Houston, Houston. Because it's what I- Yeah. I don't want it to happen. So it's guaranteed to happen. Nebraska is the four-seed in that bracket. In that bracket. I have them losing in Nebraska. Well, there you go. Miami's playing- The mayor, Fred Hoyberg. Yeah. Yeah. Miami playing Missouri. Yeah. I got Miami losing. It's going to be a good game. It's insane Lewis. Right. It's insane Lewis. I still don't know if they got anybody they can deal with for no. Yeah. You're probably right. I didn't- I think Miami is better than a seven-seed. I did too. I did too. All right. Baseball, World Baseball Classic. And did Venezuela is your champion? How about that? Yeah. I mean- Did- I mean, is that surprising? It was pretty fun event. Yeah. I think it was an upset. I think the favorite was Japan and the United States by far. Really? Then Dominican. Yeah. I would have had the Dominican or the Dominican way. Venezuela would be at that next tier.

5:04All right. Because they still have Akuna. And they got a lot of good baseball players. Who does America have? Well, it's down to, it comes down to pitching. And then if- And then you're playing like a single elimination type tournament. Yeah. I'm more surprised- It's fun, though. Japan didn't win it. Right. They got the best player in the game. Yeah. And Venezuela beat him. Yeah. They beat the United States and Japan. So you got to tip you cat to them. United States full of anti-clutch players. Right. Aaron Judgment. They're accumulators. Yeah. Yeah. In contract. In that game, you want guys that are going to make contact. And you want guys that are going to do the fundamental- You guys that are going to run like Ronald Akuna ran. Yeah. And the pitchers that are going to bring it like that closer did. Yeah. So Venezuela, it meant something to them. That crowd sounded like it was in Venezuela. It's in Miami. Yeah. Well, I mean, you know, there's- I would not be surprised if other Latin American fan bases were

6:04were pulling for Venezuela. I know some of them don't really get along with each other. But, you know, well, floor state baseball, big series win at weight with the sweep. The sweep. Yeah. Yeah. Really big win. Big win. Two really strong pitching performances from your top two stories. Right. Wes Mendez has been solid the whole year. And you knew coming in, because you got- You saw him pitch last year. So you were kind of counting on him. You got a trade beer though through on Saturday like that. I don't know if he's going to be like that the whole season. He's got it. If he can throw that change up for a strike. Yeah. Through, you know, one hitter, combine one hitter, 14 Ks and six and two third. That's the equalizer, man. If you had good change up. Yeah. I mean, from a lefty to- Right. And they were, you know, wake was throwing their guy. Chris LeVonus.

7:04He struck out 11. Right. And it was basically, yeah, you know, they ran into a home run and then got another one across and the top having the ninth. But man, that, that, yeah. And to win the Sunday game, it was just kind of a slugfest. That was a big sweep. You know, Wake Forest coach said that the Saturday game was the most discipling loss they've had in quite some time. You just, you don't really hold Wake Forest to that. You know, you shut them out to two. I mean, you know, you run rule to do. Yeah, you run rule to Friday. Yeah, you shut them out Friday and Saturday. And nothing and then two to nothing. Two to nothing. Two to nothing. So it, it was a big one. I got another test this weekend, though, man. You got NC State coming in another top 10 team. That's going to be fun. Big match up there. What's NC State bringing to the table? Pitching. You know, they got, you still got one of Trotnikson's kids.

8:05You know, they lost the game to BC. They've lost to a couple teams that are, that are, you know, have losing records on the season. So they're kind of a, you know, when you were looking on paper, Wake looked like they were going to be a bigger, a bigger test. But, you know, NC State is always hard. Yeah. Ellie, Ellie, they've had. Yeah. There's a lot of familiarity. Yeah. If me, you're already, you know, Chris Hart, former Florida State Pitcher is their pitching coach. Yeah. They do a lot of running. They got speed. So it'll be a toughy. It'll be real toughy. It'll be a good series to get out to if you have a chance to do so. Yeah. It's going to be hot. All right. Nice and more mid 80s. Yeah. 11:08That dude is ridiculous. Yeah. At a Detroit. Seven mile neighborhood. Um. I. Miami kind of scares me. Yeah. I picked them to lose. But they, they could get, they could get the right matchups because they have. It's all going to come down to threes. They hit threes, which they haven't been overdue consistently. So. Right. What Miami team's going to show up? Right. The one that looks really good or the one that got housed by Virginia in the ACC tournament. I like Virginia. I do. I think they're going to get to the lead eight. Um. I got to go in chalk, man. Yeah. Purdue. What are they? Produce a two seed or seven. Yeah. Because they finished like seventh or eighth in the big 10. Michigan State. There are two. Yeah. Yeah. Well.

12:08I don't know. It's hard to see anybody. There's like 18. I could win it. Right. You know, the Arizona and Florida game early in the season. The first game of the season could very easily end up being. Yeah. You know, those are your four one seeds, both those games that they played were great games. Um, those are your favorites. I don't know if Florida's got the guard play to do it. I think they're going to meet match up with somebody who's got the bodies to bang down low with them. Yeah. Somebody's going to get off from three. I mean, you got it. They someone's going to have guards that they don't. Right. That's going to be because last year it was Clayton. Yeah. That's the guy. The one that the guard tournament. You got to have that. You got to have that guy. And they're, they're a front court dominated team. Now, they could do it. But I don't, I don't see them getting passed into the, they might get to the final four because

13:08they're one seed. But I, I don't think they have the guard play to do it. Arizona to me. Man, when they're firing. Yeah. That Pete kid. Yeah. Like did. Yeah. And Houston, you know, Houston's the same as Kelvin Samson's guy. They're going to be tough. They're always going to be a tough out. Yeah. They're going to make it hard for a lot of people. So. And then the tournament. Yes, which kind of want. I feel like. The whistles. They try not, you know, one of the officials inside the game. So you want to have a physical team. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Especially the further you go. Right. Into the tournament. As you advance. So Florida, they have the physicality. I just don't know if they have the guard play. Miami's a little thin. They have those, those two guys. But I got there too big. But like you said, they're not, they don't have the depth. I don't think they're not, they're not hitting threes.

14:08Yeah. I think they're under the seven seeds too low. I think they should have got five. Um. Yeah. Trying to think that there's like a 11 or a 10 11 seed. They could do make a run. It's really not. Yeah. That's what NIL has done. Yeah. Nobody's going to. There's no, no guys stay in there that, you know. I mean, you look at, you look at a team like Miami. I have one loss on the season. They're in 11 seed. Right. They, they don't have the firepower to do. Just thinking of a team. Yeah. And the team that's going to like, that's together in his experience. They're not going to be all the way down to the 10 one. So. Yeah. But that's why we played guys, man. We're going to see. Yeah. I think that you're going to get. A lot of talent that wants to get out of the metal.

16:09Yeah. Because football doesn't have anything like that. No. I think you take on Berkeley's plan. But. But this isn't about like. What I wonder is like. There used to be no spin moves in flag football. Right? Like, you can't spin. You can't guard the flags. Like. I don't know if there. I got to catch up on the rules. Right. How are these guys going to, going to adjust? You know, when you take the pads off and it's just about pulling somebody's flags like how. You know, like, yeah, he's good. Good.
