Driscoll's Tough Interim Role at Kansas State

Interim coach Matthew Driscoll took over after Jerome Tang's firing and described those final weeks as absolutely miserable, saying he poured, everything into the team despite the pain. Driscoll shared how the stress hit him hard with daily ulcers, sleepless nights, and even talks with the psychologist about why he couldn't grieve. Openly, since Tang is one of his best friends. A former head coach at North Florida for 16 years, Driscoll went two wins and five losses as K-State's interim leader, joining the staff as, associate head coach before the season started. Players were told to clear out of the basketball facilities by Friday, with the school expected to name a new coach any day now, as Driscoll packs up. Knowing he gave it all for the players who fought through the adversity.
