Double tap if interested

It's called the double tap and a guy in Austin, Texas has gone viral for promoting this signal that he calls the double tap. Okay. So picture yourself at the bar. You lock eyes with somebody you think is hot from across the way. Okay. You take two fingers. Okay. Your pointer and your middle. You raise them up to the corner of your head. You double tap a temple. What? That's what you're supposed to do to be like, hey, I like you. Do you like me? If the other person does the double tap back, that means they're interested. You can send a drink over their way, walk across the bar, strike up conversation. The double tap. I know we seem to hate it. I just don't know that that's true. I could see myself being so weirded out and thinking you're trying to tell me

1:00like there's something on my face, like I need to, and so I might mimic you in a way of like, what's going on? Do I have? What do you think of that? Like what is happening? What do I need to do? The ball going my temple. Right. And so I could see myself mimicking just because I'd be so weirded out. Like there's so many staring at me gross and then they're making some weird gesture. I might copy them, but it wouldn't be because I'm like, oh, flirting. Well, that's what it's supposed to mean. The creator says it's meant to reduce mixed signals and make flirting easier. No. But so far, it hasn't really caught on some people. Recognize this guy as the double tap guy while others say they've tried the gesture and have just gotten confused looks. Yeah, you don't say. Well, but this is why I'm trying to do a service right here this morning on Why Wanna One? Allison is because maybe in the Metro, this is going to take off. And all next time I'm at the bar, probably in about six hours or so, I'll be seeing people double tap and all over the place.

2:01I mean, I guess if anything, I'm glad that I now know about it. So that way if somebody does that to me, I can know to like turn my body away from them. Like, no, I'm not interested. Like whatever, I feel like it completely ignoring it and being like, I'm never going to look at you again for the rest of this evening should signal like, no, I'm not interested. You can let me know, but I'm not, it's not reciprocated. I wonder if you just have to do like a quick head shake. You know how pictures in baseball, like they don't like the pitch that the catcher calls to give them a quick shake it off? What about like a out? No, you just made the sign for safe. Nobody saw that, but that's the sign for safe. I don't know anything about baseball. I'm so sorry. And be careful not to try to make baseball signs because if you get the double tap from somebody and then you go safe, they're thinking, oh, that's a good thing. So I just got to be careful with my hands apparently. Maybe you just need a shirt that says not interested. Yeah.
