Dolphins Trade for Draft Picks, Eyeing Makai Lemon

In return, they got the 30th overall pick, a third rounder and a fourth rounder, while sending their own fourth round pick back. This leaves their wide receiver group, short on star power, heading into the 2026 NFL draft. Earlier this month, on March 12th, the Dolphins hosted Southern California wide receiver Mackay Limon for a top 30 visit at USC's Pro Day. At the time, it seemed like a long shot since Miami picks 11th overall, but after the trade, grabbing Limon there now looks very possible. Limon had a standout college career over three seasons with the Trojans from 2023 to 2025. He racked up 137 catches for 2008 yards and 14 touchdowns. He's lined up top 30 visits with contenders like the Washington commanders at pick 7, Cleveland Browns at 6, and Tennessee Titans at 4.
