New GM John Erick Sullivan kicked things off by trading star-wide receiver Jalen Waddle to the Denver Broncos for a first-round pick and additional sets. Teams around the league have taken notice of the fire sale and started inquiring about other Dolphins players. Pro Bowl running back Devon Ashan has drawn strong interest as a speed threat other offens is one. However, the Dolphins have drawn a firm line with the Chane. Officials are telling teams the 24-year-old starter is not available for trade, signaling he's a cornerstone for the new regime. Akinay joined the team as the 84th overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. Despite starting just four gains as a rookie, he exploded with 807 and 1,350 rushing yards.
