Does Satan Have a Moral Code?

Think of like mobsters, like how before a mobster will go and do something, they must first go to the Godfather to ask the Godfather's permission before they go and do this. Yes, right. Yes. Or the way the great 20th century prophet Bob Dylan put it, if you want to live outside the law, you have to be honest. And so given that, here's Linda's question. Okay. Do you think that Satan has a moral code? Ha, cross me so's Nancy Young said everyone must have a code that they live by. So if

1:00you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with. How's that from moral code? Love the one you with? All right, that kind of dates me a little bit. You know what? That's funny. Like that's totally going to be the music in hell if there is a hell. Because they can't be with the one they love. So, you know, love the one you with. You know, you got to make do, you know. Okay, it's an interesting question. Say it has the epitome of evil. It does have a moral code. I guess what I'd say is yes, there's something like a moral code. But I think the moral code is basically self, self ascendancy. Isaiah 14. He's the one who says, I'm not going to put my trust in God and submit to God. I will ascend. I will ascend to the mount of God. I will ascend to the throne of God. I will ascend. And he believes in his own power, his own ingenuity and all the rest. He turns to himself rather than to God. And so his moral code is self first. And then

2:03whenever you see Satan's activity, it's always self first. What does he do with even the garden? Eve, don't submit to that deity. He's holding out on you. He forbid this tree because he's threatened by you. He's a petty, petty macavellian manipulative deity. So, but if you just reach out and grab that tree of the knowledge of good and evil, well, now you can be all you can be. You can be like God. You can ascend to the throne of God. Put yourself first. And so that much of a moral code. But I think that is the moral code. And then the whole demonic realm you know, you have other beings who are thinking the same way. So how do you hold a kingdom, a kingdom of darkness together when everyone is thinking just for themselves? Because that would result in all this fragmentation. And the answer there is, and this is I think Satan's moral code is, you use fear. And this is what you find in the demonic realm. You know, when Jesus was going to cast out Legion from this guy who was very demonized with

3:07a whole bunch of demons, they plead, don't cast this out. And there's a kind of fear in the void. First they ask you, why are you here? It's not yet our time. And then he said, don't cast this out. And that's when he sends them into the pigs and you have this whole major swine suicide going on, running into the lake. But I think the only leverage you have to hold something together when every when the whole kingdom is operating out of self first is fear and threats. And I think that's that's what holds this demonic realm together. That's the moral code of the grand, the great grandfather of evil. Yes, that's time.
