I know this song is it ever. If you weren't listening to this on the middle school bus, I don't know what to tell you. Well, there were 14 seed matched up against Pearl Jam. It just went live at Jones and Keith. I'm not throwing the vote. No, don't start playing that game, Keith. This is how craft gets left out of the Hall of Fame. This is how Bill gets left out of the Hall of Fame. No playing that game. Pearl Jam bounced because everyone's throwing days in the new abode. Like that song in a minute. The Jones and Keith 1990 slash early 2000s. Heavy metal, new metal, grunge alternative, pop punk, butt rock, rock, bands, bracket.

All right, I've already personally advanced STP through. It's such a bloodbath already. STP. Yeah, first round is not exactly competitive in the grunge region. The other regions, I feel like there's some good first round battles. Yeah. This one's a little bit more top heavy. STP and SM3 is the match up there. Don't sleep on them. If you're just taking like one song versus one song. You're doing best on best days of the new might have a shot. Yeah, they will. That's a, that's a banger right there. So anyway, go vote at Jones and Keith. Follow Keith at Keith 21. Give me a follow at Jones W E E I at high noon. We'll get to legal tampering in the NFL. So far, the Patriots have released Jalani Tavai and tender Jack West over. That's kind of in their day. Hot start. We'll see if they can go out anymore at noon. We'll see if anything gives with AJ Brown. Or will they pivot to tight ends? But you heard Ken there, Keith. Yeah, that was his home run call. Mickey Gasmer. Love it. He gave a few home run calls on the Greg Hill show. Remember when they found out he was doing the game? Yes. And then he got to one live in the flesh.

Got a home run call. And I got to tell you crushed it. So I texted you guys this yesterday with a, a Bradford tweeted out right at the start of the game. He's like, oh, it's me and Ken. I'm like, I forgot. I was ready to watch the Celtics. I put the Celtics on mute. I pulled up the Odyssey app. A U D A C Y. I took it wherever I went. Yeah. And I listened. I streamed it right there on my couch. Celtics on mute. Watching Tatum go off. Classic Greg, bro. And I'm multitaskery. I'm sitting here going to two things at once. I'm like, oh my gosh. What, how bad is Ken going to butcher this? And I was wildly disappointed. Ken was pretty good. Yeah, yeah, he just kind of fits in. Yeah, I was like, if you didn't know any better, you'd be like, this guy's a play by play guy, which I was very just, that's a compliment, by the way. Yes, yeah, yeah. Is it a compliment? That's a compliment. Yeah, we played that game a lot and this time it is a compliment. Yeah, he also, not the easiest game to do when it is scrub city. It is like not a pro ball player. It's all ready, a spring training game that apparently no other big league broadcaster even wants to do. No, including none of the players wanted to go to. And with all the players gone for the, and I mean all the players gone for the WBC.

Like, forget about Nate Eaton. He's stocking dingers for Team Gray Britain. Congrats. So like no one's there. No, Connor Wong. And Ken, well, yeah, Mickey Gasper. Connor Wong and Mickey Gasper. And so Ken is kind of fluffa. Colin the game. Yeah, fluffa was like, KF was in that lineup. No, he came in. Yeah, you know, he was the third baseman yesterday. He was. He was the third baseman yesterday. All the pitchers they used. I don't think it was a revenge game for him. It was against the Pirates. That's probably why he made the trip. Good point. Yeah. Pirates didn't have a whole lot going on, but they at least, they at least had major leagueers in their lineup. So yeah, nice job all around. We, I heard the same caller. You heard this morning to Greg show saying that Ken gave us a grab bag shout out. Yeah, we got to get it. We got to get it. When was that? Like somebody let us know when that was. We'll go stamp that bad. We'll go find it. Who was doing the game yesterday? I mean, it was producing. I don't know. Well, not Braverman. It was not. I asked Braverman's already here because they got another game. Like, you know, I'm training never sleeps. I don't know. Maybe pull that highlight for Jones and Keith next time, but we'll find it. We'll get it. Yeah. And we'll make sure we have it by the end of the day. We'll turn it around at some point today. But that was Ken.

Good job. I can. I hate to say it, but good job by Ken. Meanwhile, Alex Kora's back at it with Marcelo Meyer. Yeah, what is this? What is it? Yeah, what is this? He's either really trying to make the guy earn the job or he doesn't like him somewhere in between. It's like, oh, it's drama free at Red Sox camp. Well, it's not Raphael Devers ready to go AWOL from the team after ignoring them all off season because they just happened to sign another player that played his position who's better than him. But this is drama. And I think it starts with the manager. I think, although maybe they didn't like how Meyer carried himself this off season. But Alex Kora, I'm ready from Sean McAdams. Not ready to concede that Meyer has earned an opening day roster spot. Quote, I think he's doing a good job. That doesn't mean he'll break camp with us, but we've been happy with the progression. He's not going to break camp with it. So the manager says, I think he's been doing a good job. Doesn't mean he's going to break camp with us, but I'm happy with the progression. What the hell does that mean? I don't know. I don't know. What is that? The guy was one of the best prospects in baseball a year ago.

Correct. And so I don't know what they... Is his service time tickly started? Is that what it is? Well, is it a service time thing? No, I think you can manipulate his service time, but I think you'd have to leave him in Worcester for a while. It's not like toly and early where it's like a month. I think he was on the big league roster a lot last year. So I think it's not like he just came up in September and August. He was on the team. I don't get it. May or June, what was he on the team last year? It was early. Yeah. He is, what is he? Two for 10 so far? In, I mean, it is a small sample size. That's what I'm looking at, Meyer, because obviously you get the late start, so he hasn't played a ton. But the other thing is he's not just a bat or like a perceived bat. Like the guy is good in the field. And Kora's highlighted that many times. Kora's also even said last year, like he's a shortstop. He's going to be a shortstop, but he's good at these other spots and you can play the, like you can see. You can play third base, you can play second base. Stick with that for a second. What happened? A year ago, he's like, yeah, he's a big league shortstop. And now he's like, I don't even know if he's breaking camp with the team. Like what happened?

What's here? What happened? I don't know. I don't know. I don't really get this one. I can't really figure it out. Is it something where he's not going to like break it through the media that he's like, they're starting second baseman, but he hasn't said it yet. So he wants to tell the player or he's going to tell the team, I don't know how that works. Okay, but why play the game? He might not break camp with the club. Well, if he's not the starting second baseman, he really shouldn't be. Well, I guess that's fair. Yeah. You know, I don't want him to be just sitting on the bench and being like a pinch hitter or something. Like that makes no sense. You won't think I'm playing every day. But he won the job last year, but they didn't give it to him. And then this year, it seems like there's even less competition for it. And yet he may not start with the big club. It doesn't make any sense to me because even if you feel like his bat hasn't caught up to Major League pitching, he's got to figure it out at some point. And so he's going to have him hit the ball and Worcester for a while and then be like, oh, now we can do it. No, it's still minor league pitching there. Put him at second base, have him hit seventh, eighth or ninth for all we care for a while and then get him going. He's got to still be a value add in the field.

So I don't really get this and it seems like be the only player that he's like saying this about. And it's not like, and you've made this point many times. It's not like you have, you know, some stud sitting there waiting to play it. It's him or Meyer. It's him or IKF. Yeah. That those are the options. Right, who's that much better? He's just a glove. Plug and play like even a Meyer's just a glove. The alternative is just a glove. You could have them up here trying to learn to hit at the big league level. So who knows what's going on there? That's the latest on the Red Sox. We'll effort to get Ken's grab bag shout out here on Jones and Keith. We are almost two hours in the books, Keith. We've hit on the Celtic contrary to popular belief. We've hit on the Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots all in the first two hours. Wow. But get ready to lock in. Get ready to do some legal tamper. You ready to legally tamper? I am ready to do it. Legal tamper. Yeah, of course. Of course. We're going to do some legal tampering as the NFL goes live at high noon. That's next, Jones and Keith. Presented by T-Mobile, the official wireless partner of Odyssey Sports.
