DJ Chark Retires from NFL After 7 Seasons

Former Atlanta Falcons-wide receiver DJ Charc has retired from the NFL after seven seasons. The 29-year-old made the announcement on Instagram Friday evening. Over his career starting in 2018, he played in 76 games with 216 catches for 3,100 yards and 24 touchdowns. Charc kicked off with the Jacksonville Jaguars, posting a breakout year in 2019 when he topped 1,000 yards and earned a pro, bowl nod. He followed that with over 700 yards in 2020. Injury slowed him down after 2021, affecting his play across teams. Fans and families stuck by him through the ups and downs, much like the support he had from childhood when he first picked up the sport at age 7. The Falcons brought him in before the 2025 season, but he only saw one pre-season game and didn't crack the final roster or land elsewhere.
