The Queensland coroner's court confirmed this week that a forensic pathologist determined her cause of death as drowning amid multiple injuries linked to the attack. She was found dead on a beach there back in January while on her trip through Australia. An earlier autopsy pointed to signs of drowning along with bite marks from dingoes both before and after death. No evidence shows anyone else was involved in the incident. Officials have suggested she might have gone into the water to get away from the animals. The court's investigation into her death is still going on, with no more details released yet. Meanwhile, dingo encounters with people have picked up in recent years on the World Heritage Listed Island. Last year, a woman was bitten by a pack while jogging and fled into the ocean and several dingoes have been put down after other attacks.
