Diggs a Bad Fit for Commanders

There's said to be one of the most active teams, but one big name just hitting the market stands out as a bad fit. Stefan Diggs got released by the New England Patriots this week, making the 31-year-old free agent available. He grew up near Washington, played high school ball locally, and starred at the University of Maryland, so he's always been a fan favorite there. Commander supporters have dreamed of him joining the team for years, especially back when trade talks swirled around him in Minnesota. But at this stage, his off-field issues and attitude make him risky, and he's shown signs of slowing down after 11 NFL seasons. Diggs did hit 1,000 receiving yards last year for the seventh time in his career, a solid bounce back. Still, he'd likely play second fiddle to Terry McCorn here, and that might not sit well.
