Devils Sign Melovsky to 2-Year Deal

The New Jersey Devils just signed forward, Matthias Malowski to a two-year entry-level contract that kicks off in the 2026-27 season. They picked a 21-year-old check player 171st overall in the sixth round of the 2024 NHL draft. This move locks him into the organization after a solid start in North America. Earlier this year, Malowski inked a one-year deal with the Utica comments in the American Hockey League. In 35 games this season, he's not three goals and 10 assists, showing he can hold his own against pros. Before that, he starred for three seasons with the Bayekomold Drakar and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, racking up 201 points. Total. His best year came in 2024-25 with 83 points, including 26 goals and 57 assists. From the international stage, Malowski has suited up for Czechia at the Under-18 World
