Develop: The Hazy Place and Fear

Greetings, lovely listeners.

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend,

whether it was Easter or Passover, 2026.

We are rocking and rolling, moving on,

moving on into April.

And summertime coming up, this means I start promoting

my programs that will be running in July.

Y'all I have almost, I have two,

maybe a third signing up for the organic medium.

This is my advanced program.

I had someone email and they were interested in the program.

I had to ask them, what is your experience?

And I want to talk about this because there is

a little hazy space that we enter.

When we are ready to step into the public eye

and we, when we think we're ready.

And we do this like doubting back and forth,

a little hazy space thing.

And I have to ask people who are interested

in organic mediumship, pretty much if they're past

that hazy phase.

Because if they're not, they need to just do mediumship

101 with me.

The hazy phase is what I want to talk about today.

It's that phase where you're starting to let go

of seeing yourself as a student.

You're starting to step in to the public.

You may have given some practice sessions.

And what's happening listeners is you

are discovering who you are as the professional medium,

not the student.

And it's a whole new discovery.

It's a whole new space.

It's a whole new feeling that you're

having towards yourself.

It's a very vulnerable space.

You are putting it out there to people

who you have no connection to with class or classmates

or practice sessions.

They're finding you on Google.

They're finding you at fairs.

And you're pretty much starting your internship, right?

You're starting to grow and become the professional medium

you are.

Kind of, honestly, listeners is kind of like you're just

starting school again, except you're getting paid this time.

And that's not all it's cracked up to be, is it?

Because sometimes there's pressure with that.

I have seen more mediums in the past three months

that I have in the past three years step away from the classroom

and start working with the public and new people

that they did not know, that they were paid for their sessions

they gave.

And they have tanked the medium drowns.

The medium gets scared.

The medium steps back because, oh crap, this is real.

And you know what?

I can make money doing this.

Everything I've worked so hard to be.

Everything that I've accomplished as a student,

I feel comfortable with.

I'm now not that anymore.

And I am, well, hell, I don't know who I am

as the professional medium.

And something about this hazy space takes us

to a reality of, OK, I'm a professional now.

And I don't know how I feel about this

because it gets real.

And this is where you start being the proactive business

person that you need to be to keep your sessions going.

There's no more, oh, I'm comfy in class.

Oh, I can go and practice.

Oh, I don't have to worry about booking sites or square

setups or taking payments or anything.

It gets real.

And guess what?

It starts to shift into a work mentality.

And if you don't need the money and you don't need to work,

guess what happens to these mediums

who are in this hazy space?

They give up.

And they usually step back.

They step back from program.

They step back from mediumship.

They go find another space that's not as demanding

where they can just stay in that comfy student space.

And you know what?

That's why I asked the questions.

When you reach out about my organic program,

if you tell me you're in that hazy space,

I'm going to be like, go to mediumship 101

because all that's going to happen

is they're going to be placed with mediums

that are not in that hazy space that

are out there kicking ass, demi, giving sessions,

doing their own lives on Zoom, wanting to publish,

doing podcasts, I've seen it all, I've seen it all.

And they're going to have to get real.

They're going to have to put their big, big girl pants on,

big boy pants on.

And it is more harmful to put a hazy medium

in that organic mediumship program,

amidst all those mediums who are already

the professionals out there holding up their businesses, right?

Doing the work.

It's more detrimental to them.

They drop out than it would be just having them

in that mediumship 101 space.

So that's why I asked these questions like,

where are you in your career?

How much training have you had?

Are you still practicing?

Are you charging?

So if you reach out to me,

I want to know about the organic program.

I'm just going to say, tell me about yourself.

And if you're like, you know what?

Let's just zoom up for a bit, Jen.

I'll be like, OK, cool.

Let's do it.

I can tell you everything about my program.

But there is a space.

And I've realized I didn't even know it existed, y'all.

I've realized, though, getting these advanced mediums

in my program that they don't want 12 months.

They want fast.

They're ready.

They're out there doing the work.

They want an organic way.

They want to feel happy.

They don't want to be stressed.

They want to be uplifted.

They want to be with go-getters.

They want to be, you know, in that space, right?

I've realized, though, that there's

little hazy space that happens, that we have to kind of walk through.

We walk through the mist.

We walk through the fog.

We walk through uncertainty to get there.

And we come to a tipping point where we step into,

I'm ready to do this work as a professional,

and let go of the medium, or let go of the student view on myself.

Or, you know what?

I'm still a student, and I'm OK with it.

I just want to have fun here, right?

And so I don't want mediums to fail who sign up for my program.

Sign up for any program.

I want everyone to be a medium by embracing their intuitive senses

and communication, that language that we all can speak.

Don't want anyone to fail.

So you, you know, my organic program is for the heavy hitters.

And I will be tough on you.

You are the class where I will be serious about.

And I will say, you know, what are you

doing to promote your dem, or house the dems going,

or, you know, yada, yada, yada, you know, later down the road.

First six months, we're developing a relationship.

I'm teaching you my system.

But this is a space for those who can handle,

I'm changing your mediumship.

I'd like to redirect you.

I'd like you to try this, this something different.

And I want you to be able to roll with it.

And that's easier said than done,

because not everyone is willing to let go of a system

that they are holding onto in mediumship,

which I don't believe in.

I don't think we should ever have any preset system method demands

that are expected to be fulfilled with spirit every time.

I want you to be open to working in new ways

to stretching your wings, to growing, to expanding.

And I don't want you to be afraid when you do it.
