Derby Car Crash: Seven Hurt, Suspect Arrested

0:00On March 30th, seven pedestrians got hit by a car outside a pub in Derby City Center, Saturday evening, all with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries. Cops arrested a man right away on suspicion of attempted murder and dangerous driving. Two of the victims have already been discharged from hospital. Counter-terror officers jumped in to lead the probe, but police say that standard for these kinds of crashes, not a sign of terrorism. They're still digging into what drove the guy. No mode of lockdown yet. The suspects at Derby local originally from India nabbed just seven minutes later across town. This shook the whole city hard, called a horrific scene by top brass. Eyewitnesses stepped up big, helping pin him down near the train station before he could bounce further. Chief Superintendent Emma Aldred praised their quick moves. He's still in custody Monday.
