0:00All right, and welcome to Touchpoint Tuesday. Productions are top, but so this is the post. I put up this morning, you will survive every necessary season of prunings so that you can enter into your big season of holy, healthy, food bearing. The question was, why did I post that? So this is important to me that you understand that when I post these blessings, when I post our instruction, normally, unless I'm listening, and I gotta be, I gotta be, keep on 100 with you. Unless it's a political thing, nine times out of 10, if I post something, the Lord is, it says, put something in my heart, and I've rushed the social media to share it with you because I believe that what God gave me is for you. All right, and so this one is the one that the Lord has started to ask questions about, and so it prompted this question. Now, let me add to this, I've been on, you know, from time to time, I will hang out on social media, like maybe on TikTok, especially, and sometimes on Instagram, just watching, not commenting, not posting, just watching.

1:01And the reason I do this is because there's a lot of stuff happening in the world that many of us have turned a deaf ear to or with a blind eye. And so it begins to happen that the world is trending and saying certain things, and us in ministry are not aware of the things that are being forced upon believers. And one of the things that being forced upon believers is that there's a bunch of people deconstructing their faith. And they're saying weird things that they talk about our faith and the things we believe and the things we engage in, as if we're practicing some weird religion, some cultism, something that's not real or that's not true. And then to make it worse, many of the people who are quote unquote deconstructing are people who have been through horrendous things in church have degrees in biblical studies, have known the Lord, but something happened and they walked away from the Lord and they're going through a season. I want to declare that many of them are going to return to the Lord some won't, but I believe that this is a part of the fallen away.

2:03And I want to add this, just in case this gets in their hands or someone who takes issue with what I'm saying, I'm not at all minimizing any pain or hurt or trauma that people experience in church. What I am saying is we need to be careful because we see things a certain way because of our perspective at I experience, we don't turn people off on the things of God because God takes that very, very personally. Now, I want to get into this tonight because I think it's powerful. And the topic we're going to be dealing with tonight is the divine authority of spoken blessings, declaration or incantation. And incantation is a word spoken over, it's an attempt to invoke or create a conjure up spiritual activity or spiritual power. So what are we doing when we speak of blessing? And are these blessings valid? Someone asked me this way, they said,

3:04hey, they sent me a clip of me speaking over them and laying hands on them and I spoke over and they asked me, what did that mean? And I said to them, what I spoke over you, watch this now, I said what I spoke over you was something that the Lord put in my heart to say over you. I don't know what it means. You must know because I don't know. See, the way my gift is, I refuse to say what God is not saying. And if I do say something that God is not saying when I'm speaking word of wisdom or word of knowledge, I will elect you, no, this is what I perceive it is. But sometimes what happens to us is that God will speak a word over, watch this now, God will speak a word over us that we will not pay attention to, great, put that definition on the screen for me. We will actually speak a word or a hair word and not know what God is actually saying to us. So, incantation is the use of spells or verbal charms spoken as a part of a ritual of magic. And this is the thing we're going to break down tonight. It's a written or recited formula of words

4:06designed to produce a particular effect. So, the question becomes is the blessing, when I post things like, like, may the Lord bless you, may this happen in your life? Am I speaking a spell over you? And really, I'm addressing this because, as I said, on some social media platforms, they make it seem like what we're doing is akin to the occult and it's not. What we're doing, we're doing by divine authorization. Remember, we use that word to be authorized, command me, authorize me. When God authorizes us to do something and we don't do it, it's disobedience. So, I want to speak to this and I need you to stay on board with me, okay? Because we're going to move fast once we get started. So, I want to begin tonight and I don't know Greg what my, I don't know what my share is going to look like. What is this? Here it is. Okay, there we go. I want to begin here. Now, give me a minute to set this up.

5:07I think we're in. I think we're in. Let's go. All right. So, the divine authority of spoken blessings, declarational incantation. I want to begin with us a very, very important scripture that when you read it, we know it by heart. We know this blessing by heart. I'm reading this particular blessing for the New Living Translation, but I want you to get the whole gist of this. Number six and 22 says, then the Lord said to Moses, tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with a special blessing, with this special blessing. Here's what God says to Moses, tell the priests to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing. Here's the blessing. May the Lord bless you. I'm going to read it first from this translation. Then I want to say it in the King James. It said, may the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show his favor and give you his peace. That's up to verse 26. The King James actually said, may the Lord bless you and keep thee.

6:08May the Lord make his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. May the Lord lift up his cameras upon thee and give you peace. I want to point out that the term may the Lord make his face to shine upon thee in verse 25. It's translated as may the Lord smile on you. So when you hear like, gosh, a cop has a song that says smile. There's an old gospel on him that we sing, James Cleveland, God is smile on me. It's from this verse, may the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. Show you grace. May the Lord show his favor, lift up his cameras upon you and give you his peace. Now look at verse 27. This is what I want to get to. He says, whenever, whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel, my name, I myself will bless them. Whenever the priest, the people I've authorized to speak blessing, when they obey and speak the blessing, God says, I will bless the people. I want to, let me jump right out of this. I want to get right out of this real quick.

7:11And I want to go right here. I wanted to point out to you and I want you to really grasp this that when we, the things that we do in the name of the Lord, it's not a game. It's, we're not playing church. And then one of the things, and I'm, I gotta add this. There's a factor that I talk about. It's the factor, it's called inoculation. If you know what inoculation is, when you get a vaccine, the purpose of the vaccine is to inoculate you. What does that mean? They put enough of the disease in the vaccine where your body begins to build up antibodies against this disease. And it begins to, it prepares to fight against the disease if it gets into your body. So the flu vaccine and the purpose of the vaccine is to inoculate. It's to make it where the thing that you're inoculated with does not affect you if it does ever attack you. But the problem is I found where people who were raised in church and people who have been around church for a long time is that they seem to be inoculated

8:13to the presence of God, inoculated to the word of God, inoculated to the reverence of God. So they will play in church. They always mocking and joking and keeping junk going. The people who are, I know the people who are raised in church, they just don't take things as seriously as those of us who are raised in the street. Now I could be biased on this and I want to admit that. But this principle of inoculation renders a believer where you've been in church for so long, you don't believe anymore. It's familiarity. You've been in church for so long that you take the things of God lightly. A witness season where nothing can be taken lightly. I can't take the word of God lightly. I can't take the promises of God lightly. I can't take the attacks of the enemy lightly. This is warfare. We're in a situation where the world is shifting and believers have to be positioned to overcome and to help others overcome, right? So what I just read to you, I just showed you, was a specific blessing that God says, I want you to speak this blessing over the people of Israel

9:16and when you speak the blessing over them God says, whenever you speak this blessing, He said, I will bless them. In other words, I will cause it to happen. Follow this now. So I want to go down. Here's the question that's before us. And I'm going to cover these scriptures in a minute. Grab these two scriptures right quick. Because I want to come and I want to read them in detail. Check this out. Here's the question. Are blessings and cursings, or curses rather, simply a Christianized form of spails? Just different words for the same practice of using spoken power to shape reality. In other words, what are we attempting to do when we speak blessings? And our curse is real, right? So you say a person, they try to curse me. And I think we misunderstand, sometimes we misunderstand someone trying to put a spell on you with curses. They're not really the same thing. They may use the similar angle, but when you understand from the biblical worldview,

10:18from the worldview that shapes our spirituality, they're not the same thing. I think it's important as a believer's we understand it. So that when certain people want a person with authority, a parent, a pastor, a husband, when someone speaks blessing on you, even someone that speaks what I call an upward blessing, someone that you cover, the Bible says, her children shall rise up and call her blessed. When people speak the upward blessing to you, you will not take it like this. Ah, no, no, no, when your children bless you, take that seriously, because God puts a weight on that thing. It's authorizing scripture. Look at this. The Bible distinguishes sharply between magic and blessing slash curses. Now, I want to explain to you what magic is, and this is a great definition. Magic, it speaks to attempts to manipulate spiritual forces through human technique and skill and quote unquote knowledge.

11:20So we speak of magic and spells. This is an attempt to manipulate spirituality, manipulate your spiritual realm, and then you say, well, they're working with demons. No, sometimes people try to use quote unquote magic to try to manipulate God. Now, here's the definition of blessings and curses. And the reason I have to put blessings, which I mean curses with blessings, because you can't have the one with, you can't understand the one without the other. Blessings and curses are covenantal declarations rooted in God's authority. When we read the script, you're gonna see that the blessings and the curses come together. One is the product of obedience. One is the product of intentional disobedience. Okay, now watch this. Both involve, both the, both the, what we call magic or spells and blessing and curses. They involve spoken words, but their source, their mechanism, the way they work, and their purpose are fundamentally opposed, which means they're totally contradictory to one another.

12:24The Hebrew term for sorcery, and this word is critical, because I want to take some time, Greg, I want to pull up, I want to go to Galatians chapter, but let's do the anatomy. We're going to do it around me 18 first. Have that ready. And then I'm gonna flip right over to Galatians 5, because there's some things I need to share. But the Hebrew terms for sorcery, which is Ke'chef or Lahash, and the Greek word farmer Ke'ah. What does that sound like? What does farmer Ke'ah sound like? Exactly, like pharmacy or pharmaceuticals. There's a reason for that. The Hebrew term for sorcery describe humanly initiated efforts to control the realm of the spirit. By contrast, the blessings operate within a covenant relationship that invokes or invites the sovereign God who has already spoken. So when you start dealing with this issue of blessings, I can't bless someone with a blessing

13:25that God has not spoken. In other words, whatever I say with the Lord calls you to survive or to go through a season of proof, I'm speaking from spiritual authority, from spiritual understanding and saying to you that you have to survive pruning to get the fruitfulness. Right? That blessing is a legitimate blessing. Now, Greg, if you can, pull up for me, that first scripture asked you for, I want to get right into that. Yeah. Now, here we go. I mean, I'm looking at verse 10, right? So scroll down so I can read it a little bit more. It should be Durami chapter. I don't know, is that the correct one? Is that Durami 18? It is. Okay, my poor eyes.

14:25What translation? Give me new living translation, that looks strange to me. Okay, let me start there. For example, never sacrifice your sons or your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune telling or you sorcery or interpret omens or engage in witchcraft. Now flip to maybe the King James or NESV. I want to kind of show them, this is a pretty weighty lesson. I want them to make sure that they understand. They shall not be found among you anyone that make you his son or daughter pass through the fire. Now, you know what you mean to understand is that you look at verse 9, these were the abominations of the nations that God was, that the land was vomiting out. This is what they practiced. And the land evicted them. If you say what God is, God says He's driving them out. God said the land was evicting them for these practices. So He said, they shall not be found among you anyone that causes the son or daughter

15:28to pass through the fire or uses the evination, observer of times, that the word time says speak, that this is what we call astrology or an enchantre or a witch or a charmer. And this charming can be charming animals like snakes or it can be charming people or consult with familiar spirits or a wizard or necromancy, someone who speaks to the dead. He says, for all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord. And I'm going to define the word abomination in minute. And because of these abominations, the Lord that got the driver drive them out from before thee, the land was, the little one, he said the land was actually vomiting them out because of these behaviors, right? Now, I want to go back, I'll give me, I'm going to come back to this promise I'm going to explain some of this because I want to point out that it mentions nine different types of offenses that's in here. Now go to Galatians chapter five, verse 19 to 21. In Galatians chapter five, verse 19 to 21,

16:29we see what's the Bible calls the works of the flesh. In that particular passage of scripture, you have the works of the flesh and you have the fruit of the spirit defined or outlined. I want to point this out. It says, now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these. And it points to my adultery, which craft, I'm sorry, adultery fornication on cleanness, lasciviousness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, and these murders, drunkenness, reveling against and such to like and it goes on. Now flip to me, Greg, I'm trying to rush through as quickly as I can. Give me either ESV or NLT because I want to point out what these are and I want to re-emphasize to everyone that what he's giving us are categories of sin. Okay, look at verse 19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, sexual immorality, impurity, sexuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, physical anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness,

17:31orgies, and things like these. Now, I want to point out to you that there are four categories of sin mentioned here. The first category are sexual sins. The second category are spiritual sins. I'm going to point them out. The third category are what we call social sins and the fourth category are what we call sins of insubriety. That means I have to be drunk or high to do them. What do you mean by that? I mean that Satan, these sins are normally the product of me being out of my natural mind and being under the influence of pharmacia. But look at this now, go back up. So the sexual sins are sexual immorality, impurity, and sensuality. Those are the sexual sins. The only two spiritual sins mentioned, which are idolatry and sorcery. Sorcery here is the word pharmacia. The enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,

18:31envies, these are called social sins. These sins destroy the fabric of community and culture. They destroy a home. They can destroy families and churches, businesses. These are destructive. They destroy nations, okay? That's what's happening in America now. Last category of sin, we see here is the sins of, where did they move? Okay, there you go. Drunkenness and orgies. These are two sins of insubriety where normally there is some type of inebriation that is happening while these things are going on. I wanted to show you this. Now flip me. Now I'm gonna go back to the outline because I wanted to point these out to you as we look deeper into this lesson. Check this out. So let's look at blessings and cursions versus spells because this is critical.

19:31There's a biblical condemnation of magic and we looked at the key scriptures. But when you look down at this list that I have here, Revelation 21 verse eight says that is when in the list of people who will be excluded from the New Jerusalem or from heaven, sorcerers are excluded. That is people who seek to use illegitimate forms of words and practices to access the spiritual realm or to create portals. Now these things are real, but the Bible says that God calls them at a barma nation. So I told you I would revisit or do it around the 18 and I want to show you this. Here is the catalog of what's called forbidden practices, okay? They include number one divination and I have the Hebrew terms, Kassim in parentheses. So it's divination, there's suits saying, which is a non, sorcery, okay? Incantations, that's the spell using spells.

20:34The mediumship where you're lending your body to evil spirits to communicate in this realm. Necromancy where now you're talking to the dead. Now watch as each of these terms describe a human attempt to access or control supernatural power outside of covenant relationship with the our way. And this is important. These practices are called in the Hebrew forever which is a barma nation and the term abomination is reserved for violations of Israel's covenant identity and I wanted to get to this part. So the reason that God told them, don't involve yourself with this is because you have a covenant with God. And God says when we start to straight outside of our faith in God and begin to practice these evil thing, God said what you're doing is he says you're violating the terms of the covenant.

21:34In the covenant God made promises. In the covenant, there's commandments. In the covenant, there's instruction. In the covenant, there's identity. And in the covenant identity, watch as now regardless of what you think or what people think about you or how life is treating you right now, you have a covenant identity. God already said who you are and whether you feel like it or not or whether it seemed like life is working that way you think it should work. It doesn't change that you have this identity with God. And God takes that identity very serious. Check this out. Leviticus 19 and 31 says, do not turn to mediums or necromancers do not seek them out. That means I don't get tarot card rings. I'm not getting to the shock goes and crystals. I'm not reading astrology. I'm not, what sign are you? What is, my sign is the cross. What do you mean what sign what sign are you? Hey, Virgo, no, I'm don't call me Virgo. I'm not Virgo.

22:34I don't, I don't identify. That's not my part of my covenant identity. And you may say pastor, we're making a big deal of it. It's not religious. It is not religious. It's covenantal. You cannot invoke the covenant when you get ready and then play little games you or with dabbling and dabbling in these practices and think it does not offend the covenant of God with you. Now, you have to understand something. God is not trying to keep something wonderful away from you. He's trying to keep you away from harm because God understands that if you operate in these things, I'm going to, I'm going to show you later on where there's a price to pay. You're dealing with the unseen realm and you're dealing with malevolent spirits. That's my level and spirit. There's benevolence and there's malevolence. Benevolence speaks of a benefit or good being given to you that complete opposite is true for malevolent spirits. He says, do not seek them out and watch this

23:35and so make yourselves unclean by them. So messing with this stuff makes you unclean. Now, whenever you see the term in scripture, the Bible, you notice in the Bible it talks about evil spirits and it talks about unclean spirits. They are the same, but when the Bible speaks of an unclean spirit, an evil spirit will cause you to harm yourself or others, right? But there's a brand of evil spirit called unclean spirit and when you look at this term on clean in the biblical text, what it speaks of is something that hinders your ability to come into the presence of God, something that blocks your connection with God, something that that throws you off to the point where you can't be among the people of God. You got it? So this unclean spirit is his desire, is to break. He wants you to feel disconnected from God. That's what this whole thing is about. Be careful and some of us,

24:36and I don't know why the Lord have me to teach us, but I think I'm teaching this because some of you are getting your theology from YouTube and TikTok in different places and it's confusing your soul. It has you basically out of your mind. And then now you're coming interrogating the people of God and interrogating the Lord, I'm trying to force God to prove himself. God does not owe you proof. Unless I want to be clear about this. Matter of fact, Jesus said to the saint and was saying tempted him to cast himself down from the temple, the other of the Lord said, that I shall not tempt the Lord thy God. It is an offence to God to try to prove, prove God says no, I don't have to prove anything to you. I prove you. Now I will give you the, at this one time in scripture where God says, bring the title into the soul and prove me now here with God said, you could put me to the test in this, but I never have to prove that I'm God. My Godness,

25:39the Bible says God has put eternity in our hearts and my Godness bears witness in your heart already. The only reason that you have a problem with this is because you're rebellion towards it. Now watch this. So, blessings are rooted in covenant, not in some technique or some skill or some special knowledge. So let's revisit the priestly blessings of number six. Well, let me find you that, let me check on you. Are you all good? Cause I'm doing the most, I'm doing a lot. Are you all good? You're checking real quick. Just tell me you're good. Give me a thumbs up. I want to check on you real quick. Let me take a minute. It's a little pause for cause. You're good. Come on, check in, say, I need you to know that I didn't kill y'all in the first part of this because we got a lot to go. It's a lot. It's a lot. My heart tonight is to, because listen,

26:40we're exposed to so much on social media and sometimes as leaders, we overlook the fact that you are being inundated with false doctrine or skewed information, questionable stuff. And the heart, we're trying to make sure, we're trying to make sure is that you're getting what you need to get. Okay, what's going on production? Okay. You good red? My screen just went blank. Okay, somebody says deep. I promise, listen, we're going to get to some swimming water. We're going to get some shallow water. Thank you Jasmine for your honesty. It's deep, but I want to make sure it's deep, but it's clear. I want us to be clear and listen. And this is what I want you to be aware of. Whenever God sends a word to you, it's always because you're going to need it or it's answering something that you've already been exposed to.

27:42Okay, if you're ready, let's jump in, we're going for some more. Okay, and if you know anyone is struggling with spirituality or wanting to deconstruct, send this to them because I may not answer all the questions, but I want to get to enough of the questions where they understand that the Lord or has a protocol for how we handle spiritual things or how we understand spiritual things. See if you're ready, let's go. Let's jump right back in. So let's go back and look at the priestly blessing in number six. First of all, when Israel got into the Promised Land, God says to Joshua, he said, I want you to take the law that Moses wrote and took the blessing. Now, if you read Deuteronomy chapter 27 and chapter 28, you know, Deuteronomy 28 is called the blessing of Abraham. But if you read this, you see that there's, there's I think 14 to 15 blessings versus a blessing

28:45and the rest, 50 something versus a curse, okay? But what God had, what God did He separate them? He said, I want you to take the blessing and carry them up to Mount Gerasim and take the curses and have someone go up to Mount Ebo and someone will read the blessing for Mount Gerasim and someone else will read the curses for Mount Ebo. Incidentally, when Jesus met the woman at the wedding, she was talking about that their people worship on this mountain, the mountain she was talking about was Mount Gerasim where the blessings were. So the Samaritans back then doing Jesus's day, they lived on Mount Gerasim where the blessings were. They were not aware basically of the curses, but they existed for disobedience. That's just something I wanted to throw in there. Now watch this. So when you go back to this appreciably blessing, may the Lord bless you and protect you,

29:46may the Lord smile upon you and be gracious to you, may the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace. This last verse again, whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, God says, I myself will bless them. What's interesting is that the scripture says that we are a chosen generation and we are a royal priesthood. So that means we have not just a responsibility, an obligation, but we have an authorization to bless. We can speak, that's why he says, bless those who crush you. We can look at all this. That's why the Lord tells us how we handle people, makes a difference in how their lives turn out. Watch this now. So there are a couple things you need to know about the blessing. Number one, the blessing is judicial, not mystical. It's not magical. It's a judgment. The blessings and curses of Deuteronomy 27-20 are not magical incantations.

30:47They follow the structure of ancient New Eastern suzerinity treaties. Now, I want to explain this because even it's kind of deep. So what's a suzerain treaty? It's a legal covenant between a sovereign king and his vassal. Let me explain. So back in the day, when there was a war and one nation conquered another, the options were to kill the combatants and destroy all the people of the lands and move their people in or keep the people who were caught as prisoners of war and the people who occupied those cities as was called vassals or it's slavery, but it's not shadow slavery. It was all, they became like indentured workers. They occupied a subservient position in exchange for their loyalty to the new king, okay? So when you look at the terms that God is writing

31:49and I wish I had time to go deeply into this, when Moses was dying, Deuteronomy is Moses rewriting the law right before he died. He was about to die and he's rewriting the law but God is downgrading the covenant that he made with them because at first they were in what's called, they were in what's called a grant covenant where God took all the responsibilities himself, the covenant dependent on God's faith on us, on God's goodness, on God's kindness, not them. But when God brought them to Mount Sinai to give them the law, they said they didn't want God to speak to them because he terrified them when he spoke the first time, follow me. And so they said to Moses, we don't want God to talk to us directly. You let him talk to you. You tell us what he said and we're going to do it. And what they asked for, they asked God to downgrade the covenant from the top, the top grade covenant was a grant covenant, okay? Down to what's called a kinship covenant where it dependent on both of them. Like a marriage is a kinship covenant.

32:51It depends on both the man and the wife to make it work, right? But in a grant covenant, it's like normally children in a relationship with their parents when they're little or in a grant covenant. Your support depends on your parents, your education depends on your parents. That's a grant kind of covenant. A marriage is more like a kinship covenant where it's even, you know, it's even like 50-50. So God was down, God downgraded the covenant because Moses was his covenant man. And Israel didn't want that. So God downgraded all the way down to the lowest form which was a vassal covenant where he was their conquering king and they were basically the people under him. That meant that they did right. They got blessed, they did wrong, they got cursed. That's the whole system behind it. So blessings are the stipulated rewards for covenant faithfulness under this arrangement. And curses are the stipulated consequences for breaking the covenant. The mechanism is judicial.

33:54It's not magical or mystical. It was a judgment that God made. So here how it worked back then under the old covenant, obedience activated the blessing and disobedience activated the curse. Mind you, this is the old covenant. And this covenant God did not like and God did not like this covenant because it depended on us. Thank God for Jesus. What Jesus made a difference that Jesus came, he fulfilled this covenant. He did everything perfectly. And then he took his perfection and gave it to us as a gift. The new covenant now is a grand covenant. It depends solely on the Lord. Now you say a pastor, let me, we could do it, what we want to do. We would be foolish to look and give off the cause of the mark. This blessing is something we should take advantage of. This covenant depended on us to be obedient. Now under the new covenant, it depends on the finished work of Jesus Christ and we depend on the power of the Holy Spirit to be obedient to do what God wants us to do.

34:56Sin has presence in our life, but not power. It's always there. We could choose to backslide on God, but it doesn't, it can't overwhelm us like it used to do back then. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, let me go forward. So, so, um, this, this covenant or of the, I'm talking about covenant, Lord. So, so the priestly blessing is invocation, not manipulation. It's invocation, not manipulation. What does that mean? God says social, so, so, so they put my name upon the people of Israel and I will bless them. God is saying that whenever, whenever you speak the blessing over them, I will show up. So, God attaches His presence and His name to the spoken word of the priest. Now, remember, the old covenant has been, it's been according to Hebrews chapter 8, it has been made obsolete, but the principles of the covenant still remain. So, the blessing is an invocation, not a manipulation.

35:57The power flows from God, not from the formula. So, I, what does it mean, pastor? It means that I can speak a word over you and say, me, the Lord bless you and cause all that you do to prosper. And if you take that in and you say, man, the, I receive the blessing of God. Not, not I claim it. In other words, I claim it. No, you can claim it, but I receive the blessing of God. I amend the blessing of God and I go about and expect that. I, in the presence of the Lord comes upon my life and listen, and he may take some tweaking, he may have to show me some things, he may have to grow me up in some areas, but it will come to pass if my faith is in line, not what was, so much was spoken, but the God who authorizes it to be spoken. I pray I'm making sense to you, okay? I look at this. The preachy blessing is also according to this was a conditional covenant. And I want to show you this because, and I put this in here because, I want you to understand something. There are people who go about saying, well, you know what? The Lord says, that's a search. And then they live like the devil on purpose.

37:00But here was a part of what God was saying today and do on me 11. See, I'm setting before you today a blessing in a curse. The blessing, if you obey, the curse, if you do not. Now, that was under the old covenant. But you say, pastor, but this is still work for us. Here's what I want you to understand. The Bible says that Christ had redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. For it is written, curse is everyone who hands upon the tree that the blessing of Abraham may come upon the Gentiles that we may receive the Holy Spirit. Now, so the curse has been removed, but I want to show you something. Satan is an outlaw. He only uses the, he needs the law to try to bring upon you the things that you deliver from. So he will tempt you to misbehave and then he will try to manipulate you spiritually,

38:00emotionally, mentally and physically, financially, in different ways. He tried to manipulate you and make you think that he has the right. And there's some traditions that still teach that he has the right to abuse you because you broke the law. That's a deep teaching, it's not for tonight, but I want to say to you, do not listen. Repent of known sin in your life. Don't give your submission to put yourself in harm's way because there's a illegal spirit out there that's seeking to bring harm to you because you intentionally breaking the law of God, okay? Okay, now, let me make sure the saints, let me check on God's people. I'm checking you all again. Okay, the comments look good, everybody looks safe, everybody alive.

39:01Okay, here we go. I'm not gonna even have you check it. I just want to check on you. Okay, now let's go back to this real quickly. So here's what I need you to know about the difference between magic or spells and blessings. And again, this is a question that Lord acts me and it's based upon some things I've been observing. There are people who say they enter that name it, claim it, blab it, grab it. They're speaking things like these are nothing to spells, they're not. So let's look at what's happening here. There are two stories in the Bible that I want you to take your time and read. I'm not going to do tonight. One is Elijah and the prophets of Bale and the prophets of the grove on Mount Carmel. The other is in Acts chapter eight where Simon the sorcerer gets saved, quote, unquote, with the rest of the city of Samaria. And in those two stories, you see where there is, there is an attempt, when you look at, or in fact, the prophets of Bale on Mount Carmel,

40:02they use ritual, they use self-muralization, mutilation rather, they use incantation to manipulate their God. They were screaming, they were running around, cutting themselves, tearing the clothes, all this, trying to get their God's attention. Because watch this now, because the entirety of their religion, the entirety of their belief system was upon what they do. It was not about their God, it was about them. The understanding was, and that's why they, a matter of fact, people didn't know this about passing the children to the fire. Normally, what they would do is, in exchange to stop a storm, or in exchange for, to get some type of natural disasters to put a stop to it, or to invite rain for their crops, or whatever, they will give their children, they will sacrifice their children to more like, and these other gods, in exchange for protection and for blessing.

41:02And demons were manipulated in their practice. They made it, looked at when they gave them the children, they would do it, they would do these things. So they will sacrifice their future to demons. Now, I wanna show you this. In this particular scenario, Elijah simply prayed to Yahweh, invoking the covenant relationship. That's all he did, because it was never about, the blessing was never about him, but his ability to manipulate Yahweh. His, the blessing was about him, or understanding his relationship to Yahweh. And I think that's what we are. Sometimes we allow people to take us through the ringer. People are losing their minds, because it didn't happen. I prayed to, and it didn't happen. Could it be that, that, that, if I go to God, and I say, Father, this situation is happening. I don't know what's going on, but I'm asking you for, for this and such. And God doesn't, what Moses would get an answer. How do you know he didn't answer?

42:06Here's my mentality. God has many ways to answer me. My faith is not in the circumstances shifting. My faith is not in people who are, who are pursuing me to leave me alone. My faith is not in the fact that I'll never be betrayed. My faith is in the fact that no matter what people do to me, I have a God that I'm in relationship with. And he takes covenant very seriously. I will trust him. I will, I will be the Joseph. I will be, I will be the David. I will go, I'm willing to go through these things. I don't invite them, but if that's the path I have to go, then I know that when I come out of this, I will have the desired or the promised blessing. Look at this. In Acts chapter eight, Simon the Sorcerer, when he saw that by the land on the hands, the Holy Spirit was given, the Bible says that he offered money to Peter. He said, I want to buy that gift you have. So if you know the background, Philip went to Samaritan,

43:07he preached the gospel, the whole city got saved, right? Simon the Sorcerer was one of the people who saw the power of God working. He saw the miracles that Philip was working. Philip sensed for Peter and John to come down and lay hands on the people to receive the Holy Spirit. And when they came, when they lay hands on them, they received the Holy Spirit against speaking in tongue. So Simon was like, I want that gift. And he thought it could be paid for because he reduced spiritual authority. Watch this now to a technique, to a skill. And so he did, he misunderstood that when it comes to the things of God in our time, in the Church of God, this is not about being platformed. This is not being titled. This is not about recognition. This is about relationship with God. This is about calling and the sinning of God. It's about you knowing the Lord and the Lord knowing you, okay? And this is the thing we have to engage with. I was watching us in prayer and Friday night. And man, we have to be with the, we have to understand when it comes to prayer, prayer is ground zero

44:10for engagement with God. In prayer, I train my soul to interact with my father in the invisible room. I understand that the things in the invisible room that can only be seen, watch this now, through the Word of God and through divine revelation. God has revealed to me and the revelation has to align with the Word of God. I have to understand that this thing that we're doing, it's not something we're making up as we go along. I don't care how many different denominations we have. It has nothing to do with what we think. It has to do with what God says. Get this. Peter rebukes Simon the sorcerer. And his rebukes shows that the power of God cannot be controlled by human means. It operates within relationship and submission. Listen to me. It operates within relationship and submission. Somebody say, I want encounters with God then you got to have a relationship with God. You got to submit to him. And you got to submit to your authority and push around you.

45:11You can't rebel against authority. That's it. Jesus said, if you receive whom I send, you receive me. You can't be rebellious to authority that God put in place. I'm not talking about rogue authority. I'm talking about authority that's godly, shepherding authority. You can't be rebellious to that and expect to get the blessing of God. It doesn't work like that. The way it works is the power of God operates within the relationship and submission piece. I have to have that in my life. Get this. So magic says, if I perform the ritual, the spiritual force must respond. But wait, that's the language of magic. But isn't this what we're doing? Isn't this what some people do? We have reduced our relationship to God, our relationship with God. We've reduced church and covenant relationship and spiritual culture. We've reduced it to, if I perform the ritual, then the spiritual force must respond.

46:12And so we pray and we're going there, we pray and we put and we run around and do all this. And then if God doesn't do something, then we wait a minute. Is this real? Oh, you're not anointed enough. That's magic. That's not how this works. The blessing says, watch this now. If I align with God's covenant, he acts according to his faithful character. That means that if I align myself with God's covenant and I trust the Lord, then I leave it up to him to respond the way he needs to respond to bring to pass the thing he promised. This makes sense to you? Now, let me take a break here. I've been going, you're all there. You're checking again real quickly. Let me agree a couple of minutes checking again and then we'll go for the last half of this. Come on, let me know what you are. Let me know if you're breathing. Let me know what's going on with you.

47:18Are you all there? Are you all there? Check in, Saints. Make sure, Lord, Lord, did I kill the people of God? You're good? All right. So I hope you have taken some questions. I noticed a lot and I know it's like drinking from a fire hydrant, but I think it's important. It is so important that I get us all to you. You will get a chance to go back and rewatch this. I just want to download it. Just want to download it. Let's take some of these covers of hilarious, some slow breathing, trying to catch my breath. OK, I got you. I got you. We're going to. All right, so let's go for the last leg of this.

48:23And I'm printed. We're getting this. So my syllogies are not breathing. OK, let's jump right back in. Let's jump right here comes the outline. OK, so let's go down a little bit further. Let's talk about why our words carry away. And I'm going to do this as quickly as possible. The creation package, a pattern rather, words that create. And all these scriptures and you can screenshot this. These scriptures tell us about the creation and how God used words to create. I'm showing you why it's important not just to speak blessing, but to receive blessing when it's spoken over you. And to understand what it is that's happening in the moment, whether it's by social media, whether if it registers in your spirit, then you take it. So we know that God creates with by his words, the Hebrew word where Yomah, and he said, that's what that's terming, followed by why he, and it was it establishes a pattern.

49:25I may not have pronounced those words exactly right, but it's not a Hebrew lesson. It establishes a pattern. And here's the pattern. Divine speech, divine speech carries creative authority. Divine speech carries creative authority. That's the pattern, OK? Now humanity, which is made in the Maguodei, in the image of God, is endowed with the capacity to speak words. You have the capacity to speak words. Listen, that shape reality. Now, this is a term. And I actually was contemplating whether or not I should take the term ex nihilo out. But I decided to leave it in because if you've never snipped before, this is a theological term that you use. If you're studying theology, then this term is used a lot. It means out of nothing, ex nihilo, right? So this whole statement is humanity made in the Maguodei is endowed with the capacity to speak words

50:26that shape reality, not out of nothing, but here's where the reality is shaped. I want you to see this. When words are spoken, how we create words is normally in the spirit, in the emotions, and in the relational realms. This is a critical piece of information. Your words have impact first spiritually, then not in any particular order, but emotionally and relationally, not just to others, but for ourselves as well. This is critical, because you see what I spoke. Someone said, well, I can't just say, I can't say this person is my wife and it happens. No, no, it doesn't, it doesn't, but watch this. But then again, you have no scripture for that. God didn't tell us that we could go around claiming human beings. So no, that is more like a magic. That is more like some kind of weird magic spell that a magic thing.

51:28That's not creating words. Proverbs 1821 says, you know this is by heart, death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit, okay? But this proverb is not hyperbole. In other words, it's not just saying something metaphorically. It's reflecting the wisdom. There's a wisdom that says, speech participates in outcomes. My words affect outcomes. Put that in the comments real quickly. Words affect outcomes and they do. If you don't believe this, ask any person that got on social media talking crazy and end up getting fired from their jobs. Words, my speech participates in my outcome. And that you still pass, they just never happen. It does happen for you. You just have to be paying attention. Your words affect your outcome. It is, I'll be honest with you. And part of the questionnaire that I put on social media today on Facebook was,

52:28what's the difference between random affirmations and spiritual declarations? There's a difference. A random affirmation I could say a lot of things, but if there's no basis, if there's no biblical basis for it, it will not work now. What does work is that our words do have influence over outcomes and we tend to open our minds, our prefrontal cortex, we tend to open our minds and our brains begin to respond to the things we say. Watch this. And James, chapter three, verses two through 12. If you read that, James made an interesting statement. He called the tongue a fire. He called it a world of unrighteousness, capable of setting the whole course of life ablaze. James says, your words can, if your life right now is dry, if your life right now needs change, you begin with words. You get the word in you and you speak the word out of you

53:31and it's gonna start to initiate change. James draws on Genesis to argue, watch this now, that blessing and curse and cursing should not come afloat from the same mouth. Read James 312, when you get a chance, our time does not permit the night. But you're gonna see, and I'm giving you scriptures to study, a screenshot is because it's critical. When you begin to put this into your belief system, begin to study this, it changes who you are. Don't let life just happen to you be involved in the outcome of it. Be involved in what happens to your future. How do I do this with my words? Well, watch this. There's a heart-speed connection. Let's do this real quickly. In Matthew chapter 12 verse 34 to 37, and Luke 645, Jesus Himself begins to speak on the topic of the heart-speech connection. He teaches that speech is not an isolated action, but the overflow of the heart. What Jesus said is from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, okay?

54:33So the Greek word, per summa, is a word for abundance, and it indicates that what fills the heart will inevitably pull out to the mouth, whatever's in your... If you wanna know, now watch this. According to Mark chapter 4, the word of God for the believer is what produces the fruit in your life. That fruit could be character, that fruit could be people into the kingdom, but that fruit could also be successful productivity for my life. I want you to see this. But it has the thing that you succeed in, the thing that you, it has to be in your heart first. You have to win in your heart first. How do I know if winning is in my heart, is winning coming out of your mouth? Because your mouth is a very, very accurate indicator of what's in your heart. Your mouth, what's coming out your mouth, is a very accurate indicator of what's in your heart.

55:34Watch this now. So to speak a curse over yourself or over others is not to cast a spell, but it's not casting a spell. No, there's someone saying, they'll say things over you. And whatever they say, that's their business. You cannot be cursed. That's the first thing. Nobody can just put a spell on you. Timber, pastor, I think I'm cursed. Are you saved? Yeah. The devil can't curse what Jesus has blessed. They can't who do, who do, no do you. They can't, they can't. No, now watch this. So to speak a curse over yourself, we're using me to speak a curse over myself. You can say, I can't. You can say it's not working. You can say that I'm always sick and I'm always, you can say these things. You say it's my reality, but you can say them what it reveals is that's what's in your heart. And what you're doing is you're reinforcing what's already inside your heart to give it greater power. Look at this statement. When I listen to, I have to listen to my speech

56:35because my speech reveals and reinforces what's already in my heart and it gives it deeper for the greater power. So what do I do? If I hear myself speaking, I said, oh, I need to check that and now I can need to go and fill my heart with the word of God, put my, I got to put myself under the counsel of the Holy Spirit in this area so I don't contain the deepness part. I need to be delivered from the way I'm killing myself by the way I talk. Now look at this. Jesus said, I tell you on the day of judgment, people will give account for every careless word. As what he said, we can speak careless words. The word here, the translate's careless is a word that means powerless. It's inactive. It's not performing, it's not performing for my benefit or for the benefit of the kingdom. He said, for by your words, you will be justified and by your words, you will be condemned. It's your words in Romans chapter 10. It actually says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, the mouth always makes confession unto something.

57:38My words are taking me somewhere and it's with a heart in the heart I believe or the mouth I confess unto. I know this is deep and I really was trying to simplify this, but it's as simple as this. Let me take it down a notch. What you're saying matters. The things that you're saying and you think it's cool, it matters. What you're saying about yourself, what you're saying about people, how you describe in your life, it matters. It matters. Now watch this. Words are ethically significant because they reflect the heart's alignment or misalignment to the word of God. Now God, I'm gonna say this, Jesus said, if you abide in me and my words abide in you, he said, ask whatever you want and I'll do it for you. So if the problem is that your heart is misaligned with the word of God and you believe in other things, you believe in other people, you believe in other religions,

58:40you believe in people who are walking away from God, you believe in people that don't serve the Lord. You'd rather believe them than believe the word of God. Then you're misaligned. You're misaligned. Revelation 12, 10 says Satan is the accuser of the brothers. He's the accuser of the brothers. So when we speak accusations against others, against ourselves and others, we align with the accuser's agenda rather than with the Holy Spirit's agenda, who is an advocate. When I speak against myself, I'm nothing but a loser. I always mess things up. When I start talking like that, I'm aligning with my accuser. I'm saying, what do you think of the thoughts of coming from? He has taken over my heart. He has me saying things about myself and about other people. I never say anything good about people. I never say anything good about myself. Who's inspiring that? Satan is inspiring that. Satan is tricking you into using your creative tongue to destroy your own life. There is a connection between the heart

59:40and the words and the mouth, the words that you speak. Now, I'm almost done. So now I want you tonight to own your prophetic agency. What do you mean by that? I need us all on this call tonight, on this life tonight. I need us to get to the place where we accept that there's a prophetic element to my spiritual life. I'm not saying you're a prophet. I'm saying that you are the chief prophet over your own life. You have a prophetic element. You have to speak the word and the will of God. And there's some scriptures here, okay? But I want to show you this. The priestly blessing that was spoken over Israel and numbers 12, God says that when he has something to say, he speaks to prophets, this is a legitimate thing. Read these scriptures you'll see. Jesus, I want to take us to this issue of Jesus' curse and the victory. And I was supposed to be reading these scriptures but I'm watching the clock, okay? We all know the story of when Jesus cursed the victory, right?

1:00:43But I think it's misunderstood. Jesus' curse and the victory was not a curse as we understand it. The victory had leaves but no fruit. And it was a symbol of Israel's religious hypocrisy. They were pretending to be who they were while actively not being who they say they were, okay? It was religious pretence without covenant faithfulness. I'm gonna tell you something. Don't waste your time pretending to be connected to God and not be. Give it your best. I'm not saying you, I'm not saying righteous man falls seven times, okay? But he gets up, right? The wicked fall one time and never gets up. So if you mess up, you get up and you keep going. But don't give yourself to pretending to be what you're not. So Jesus' act in curse and the victory is what we call a prophetic judgment.

1:01:45It wasn't sorcery. It was prophetic judgment. He demonstrates or he demonstrated faith-filled words aligned with God's will. Carries amazing and tangible authority. I wanna say it again. But Jesus demonstrated was that when I understand the will of God, the will of God is revealing the will of God. When I understand the will of God and I speak the will of God out of my mouth with faith, it carries, in other words, it begins to reshape reality. It begins to reshape reality. So Jesus now does this demonstration. The disciples asked about it and he teaches them. He extends his authority to them. He says, who ever says to this mountain to be taken up and torn to the sea and does not doubt it will be done. They said, what is this about? What do you just do? And Jesus said, let me show you what I did. And here's the principle behind it. And he says, and you have that same power. That's why on Sunday morning, that's why on Sunday morning.

1:02:45And the Lord put it in the Lord's, I don't know why all of a sudden, I've been known this confession for years. I wanna show you something. Watch this. I wanna show you this confession. Greg, I don't know what's going on here. You there? There you go. Pop you up there. You got it? There you go. So, that's why on Sunday mornings, I am so invested in us saying this is a prosperous year for us. The doors of success have been opened. The doors of failure have been closed. And we do it three times. Why? You say, why you do it three times? Because the church I was in, Christian has to pray in Kaleen, Texas. But my past at the time, that's what we did. And it worked in our lives. And listen, there's a thing called prophetic agency, right? But it's also prophetic protocol. And to me, there's also prophetic inheritance. What I'm sharing with you, when we do this confession on Sunday morning,

1:03:47it's a part of our prophetic inheritance. It was passed down to us. And I'm committed to it. And when we say, I don't just want you to say like a, like it's just something we, no, it's not a paper out of it. We are laying groundwork. We are speaking the will of God over our lives. And if we speak it, it comes to pass. I'm gonna, I don't know that I have a lot of time to keep going. But I think we've covered enough. But I want you to say something. I want you to get this last piece if you don't mind. Y'all, don't leave. You don't have to. Let's stay. I want you to get this last piece. I'm almost done. Watch this. So, I wanted to speak the Greek word legion. It's the word from the Lord. Lord logos means to say is the same verb used throughout Jesus' teaching, right? It's the same word. Jesus connects faith, speech, and the authority of God, not autonomous power, but delegated authority, exercise, and relationship, translation. Jesus is saying to us that when I speak a word,

1:04:51it has nothing to do with my personal power, has nothing to do with some skill I learn, I'm not casting a spell. I am releasing, watch this now, delegated authority that I've been given based on my relationship with God, okay? And I have the power to release these words on everything and everyone under my jurisdiction, especially my children. I want to show you this real quickly, okay? When you read the patriarchal narratives of the old covenant, blessings are treated as irrevocable and generationally shaping. What it means by that is that the fathers were expected to bless their children. And in one instance, when Isaac blessed Jacob and realized he had given it a blessing, not to eat something but to Jacob, Jesus came back trying to ask, he asked his father, can you not revoke the blessing

1:05:51and give it to me? And he said, no, so this is an irrevocable blessing. It's an irrevocable blessing. So I could speak a blessing of a person and that blessing would follow them. It was so powerful that Jacob stole the birth, right? He got the blessing and God blessed him just like he said he would. God blessed him, okay? This is not magic, where words force God's hands. Rather, it reflects the weight of authoritative declaration within the cup. In other words, it shows you how powerful, how much weight it carries when we speak words of blessing, okay? So parents, pastors, prophets, department heads, the people who run the people in charge of the group you serve with, they can speak words that carry covenantal weight, shaping identity, shaping destiny. The words can actually change if we took it seriously, okay?

1:06:55Number six is 27. So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel and I will bless them. That's what God says. This is a commitment to bless people when his name is spoken over them. The spoken word becomes the vehicle of God's presence that stays with the person. When I speak the word over you, something goes with you, someone goes with you. God shows up in Ephesians six and four. Father's, it says fathers, bring up your children in the nurtured admonition of the Lord. I think this translation said in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. And I want to show you this is going to bless you. The Greek words, Padea and Nusthia, they imply formative speech. The two words, bring your children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Padea and Nusthia, these are speech, this is words, spoken of your children, spoken into their lives that shape who they are, that shape your child's identity.

1:07:57You can literally shape people's identity by speaking the blessing of the Lord on their lives. Okay, now, there's so much more I do, and I do want to do this tonight. I'm looking at the time, let me stop here, let me stop here. So the question is pastor, does random affirmations and spiritual declaration do the same thing? No, random affirmations do not have the weight of thought you have the word of God. And did you not carry, they have no, not cause I could speak a random affirmation of my life, but there is no guarantee or promise from God to back it up. So what I do, when I speak affirmations, they're rooted in the word of God. And it's easy, you speak it over yourself. You could speak it over yourself. You go to the word, you find something in the word of God that ministers to you as you study and you begin to speak it over your life.

1:08:57You begin to, you begin to align your life with it. That's the way, that's, I'm gonna look at somebody's coming. That is the way it works, okay? Now, somebody asks, will you please post these notes on your church website? This is, okay, we're gonna seek it, we make that happen. I always make this promise and then I have to make sure I get it done, I'm gonna try to do this. There's so much more to this. And in fact, let me do this, I'm not gonna teach it, I just wanna show you, I'm gonna, I'm gonna peruse it and see if there's anything that I don't, that I wanna cover. Okay. Okay, I'm not gonna even speak only because I'm just gonna harsh. Okay. I gotta speak to this, I knew this would happen. When I say things like, I'm a child of God, okay? I'm not pretending. I'm aligning my in reality with the truth of the word of God.

1:10:00Speech, appear, look at this. Speech is a primary means of my renewal. Speaking God's promises is an act of taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. So if I'm not speaking the word of God over myself and over others, my mind is not being renewed. I mean, it's just not, okay? When the Bible says you are chosen, chosen race of Royal Priest to the Holy Nation, declaring this identity is not a spell, it's not, it's not just saying what it is a faith, it's faith claiming what God has already declared, okay? Spiritual warfare, meet, meet, speaking the word of God is a part of spiritual warfare. Satan is called the Hoka, Hoka Tagore or the accuser or the one that categorizes, okay? So it strategies to bring accusations against the believers. He does it either through internalized self-condemnation or someone else condemning you. So when we speak in agreement with those accusations,

1:11:01we are granting him a photo and we said this before. A part of my spiritual warfare is declaring who the Lord said I am. It's what some people call it. Well, I'm just speaking affirmation, no, not affirmation's declaration. I'm declaring the word of the Lord. I'm declaring what God has decreed over my life. I'm saying what He's promised. I'm speaking it, I'm holding it, holding onto it and forcing it, watch this not to change my reality. It begins spiritually, emotionally, mentally, it moves physically, financially. It can move into every realm, if I hold fast to it. Again, the sort of the spirit is the word of God, the rim of the deal, okay? It's spoken what, the clear scripture is offensive weaponry in the realm of the spirit. It's the only weapon I have to fight with is the word of God. When the enemy comes to attack my life, the only thing I can, the initial thing I do is I be, before I even try to do anything to act in faith, I speak the word. I lay the groundwork with the word. I declare what the Lord has said, okay?

1:12:05So with that being said, I'm going to end there. Do we have any questions? That was a lot. Right. What if the word is spoken, but actions are different? What if the word is spoken? Okay, that's a great question, but I need you to clarify. So I can give you the right answer. I'm due to four, four, seven, nine, nine. I want to speak to that. So ask the question a great, great. Let's hold on until they circle around that question. I want to answer that, but I need to make sure I'm clear on what they're saying on what else do we have? Any other questions? That is it. Okay, I'm going to, I'm going to wait for, I want our Judith, the four nine, Judith, four, seven, nine, nine. Okay, here's a question. Let me say that one at the bottom, bring them one up. If you've spoken negatively in the past

1:13:05out of sheer ignorance of what has been taught tonight, what can you do to cancel out those words in the spirit? Okay, so we call it canceling out the words, but it's not canceling the words. Really what you want to do, you spoke those words, we speak negative words because that's what's in us. Okay, we speak those words because that's what's in us. So what we do is we begin to fill our hearts with the word of God to the point where, now of course we begin to speak it. The way part of filling my heart with the word of God is confessing the word of God. It's speaking the word of God. It's reading it out loud. It's meditating on it, right? But now what I'm doing is I'm not canceling out the word is out there. I am now reinforcing what God says about me and I'm building myself up on my whole most holy fit. I'm building myself up on the inside. Eventually, now watch this. Words can come out your mouth that you don't believe and they have no effect. What makes the word effective, remember with the heart, man believes onto right standing with God,

1:14:08into right relationship with the mouth confession is made onto salvation, they go together. The heart believes the mouth speaks. And so if you've spoken negative words in the past out of sheer ignorance that was being said tonight, the first thing you do is we go to work in our hearts. We fill our hearts with the word of God. We reprogram our minds with the word of God and let it come out of our mouth because when it starts coming out spontaneously, on Sunday, I don't know what I say and being fully persuaded that what God has promised, He's able also to perform. I mean it. I don't know if y'all can tell, but I mean it. Being full, I am persuaded that what he's, what he's promised is able to perform. I am persuaded. We all need to become persuaded. Give me the next one. Give me some questions real quick. There you go. Whatever leadership is speaking the word of God, but behind the scenes, people aren't being treated like what the word, like what the word they are saying and what you have read that it says. Okay, like I understand better.

1:15:08So if Jesus said concerned of Pharisees, He said, do what they say, but don't do what they do. So if leadership is speaking the word of God, but behind the scenes, they aren't being, I guess you're mean to say, they're not treating people right or something like that. Man, go with the word of God and I'm gonna tell you this right now. Do not allow the faith of God, your faith in God, your relationship with God to be disqualified because of other folk. I don't care what they title is, I don't care what the position is, I don't care who they think they are. You stay in line. This is what God has intense for us. And watch this, it's not magic. It's not some type of, no, this is actually the reality of who we are in Christ. And so because of the reality of who we are in Christ, this is how I'm supposed to live. This is what I'm supposed to live. When I hear something negative when pressure comes, I'm supposed to declare the word of God, not because I know, check the box, I have to speak, this is the formula, no. It's because it's in my heart, I believe it.

1:16:10So regardless of what people are saying, if they curse you, you bless them, okay? If they curse you, you bless them. You do your best, and now it's not gonna come automatic. You have to program yourself to not get caught up and release it. Matter of fact, there's one of the slides I said, it speaks, it says, do not render evil for evil or insult for insult, but rather be a blessing. In other words, it says, don't allow yourself to be put into a war of words, enter into cursing people and wishing them evil. Your job is to release blessing because he said, in blessing, you receive a blessing. When I bless you, especially if you curse me, I receive a blessing. I wish I'd time to go through this whole thing tonight, but it'll take us till 10 o'clock tonight, and I don't have time to do that. But I'm gonna try my best, Greg, I'm trying my best to get this posted to the website. I think this is a lesson we need to revisit. Give me a next question, Greg, real quick, give me a couple more. Can you speak to the principle of declaring and decreeing versus declaring the decree of the Lord? Yes, real quickly.

1:17:10So there's a scripture in the church, maybe about 20 years ago, we start doing this thing, it became a prevalent teaching that I decree declare. And what we got from was a book of Job, where Job's friend said to him, basically he's telling Job, if you were spiritual, as you said you are, not just you would decree a thing and it would be so. But when you go to Job 42, the Lord said the thing that that man spoke was not true. He said they have not spoken well about me. As a matter of fact, he made them basically apologize to Job and Job prayed for them. So because this is the only place in scripture that says if you decree a thing will be so. The scripture actually says in Psalm 2 that we declare the decree of the Lord. In other words, the decree is what the king, the king makes a decree. He says this is what it's going to be, it's the law, it's the statute of the king. It's the ordinance of the king. And whatever the king says is the rule, it's the law, it's the order, we say what the king says,

1:18:12that's declaring the decree. That's delegated authority. Our authority comes from what the king has already spoken. It's called we're declaring the decree of the Lord, we're not decreeing and declaring. Now, I want to say this. I don't want to say he snobs about this. There's some wonderful people who I respect the ministry who are so anointed and did the decree of the time. Don't judge them for it. But I'm teaching you because I know, okay? And if maybe something they haven't studied into, but I don't want you to be snobbish, I don't want you rebuking leaders. I just want you to know, okay? I want you to know. This is what the word says. I don't want you to, you know, some people say, oh God, he had to go to the decree. No, don't be that person. God reveal it is something that you have to understand. I like to teach on this wherever I go, because I think it's important that we submit to God's order. We submit to his word and that gives us authority, okay?

1:19:14Next question, Greg. When in prayer, is praying that the plans of the enemy return to send a witchcraft or speaking on the authority guy? So, no, we don't want, we don't want the enemy to work just plans on the sender. What we, what we want to happen is we want it to, we want a better prayer is that all every plot, every plan, every ploy, every assignment of the devil come to nothing, we lose demons from their assignment against us and we say it doesn't prosper. Now what we do for the people that's sending stuff to us is we declare over their lives that the will of God comes to pass. Because remember, in the earth, we are the blessers. We are the ones that are responsible to bless, okay? Now, it was interesting about, and I guess I got a note. And you know, even let me speak to that Greg,

1:20:15even the imprecatory Psalm, that's not returned to sender, that's, I think that's when we get to the place where the Lord reveals to us that the people who are misbehaving and being mischievous, trying to put curses on people and stuff like that, they are partnering with the devil. There comes a time where you would say, where you would say something like, oh, made the Lord, like, I remember Paul, Greg, you remember the book of Acts Paul says, but you be blind. He blinded the guy for being evil. And sometimes you will, it will accompany you, spirit and you say, made the Lord do so to you and more. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But that's, don't make that the standard. Make the standard, make the standard, they curse you, you bless them. And it's easy to say, it's something that we have to really baptize our hearts into. Okay, any more Greg? I'm gonna take a couple more, be done. That's it.

1:21:18It seems that negative parental cultivation, the word spoken in the early years, the word to 18 can be the hardest to shake. Can you speak to breaking those deep, those deep planted negative seas? Okay. So, I'll say this, many of us who struggle with any type of arrested development, insecurity, extended immaturity, lack of accountability, it comes from a wounded child, you know. Now, I don't, I'm not getting to the deep psychology, I lead it to a therapist. And I think therapists do their job many of better, some of better than others, many are really good at what they do. But I wanna say this, so I believe that their wounds that happen to us when we're younger, that we've never did what we just kind of bury them and put them away. I really think that we have to bring these things

1:22:20before the Lord. I don't think we shake them. I think we unearthed them. We acknowledge them and we bring them before the Lord. Lord, I'm still ashamed based on the things that were spoken of in my life. I'm speaking to me by the Holy Spirit, develop this part of me. Lord, I'm angry or I'm insecure or I'm jealous because of the way I was treated. And I think you'd be first a pinpoint that there's a problem then we bring it before the Lord. And I think in prayer, we pray these things up before the Lord and allow the Lord to farther us and to guide us into development. The job of the Holy Spirit is to lead us and to guide us into truth and the truth that we're led into dispels the lie that many times we have adopted or believed, okay? This is a great question. And I think that we should, I don't think we should try to shake it. I think we should try to take it before the Lord and let the Lord do what he's doing. And I speak over you right now. I feel in the name of Jesus, I declare over your life that the formative years,

1:23:24the hardship of your formative years do not destroy the promise of your future. I speak over you and declare that the will of God comes to pass regardless of the fact that you were deeply wounded as a child. All through scripture, people went through tremendous things. Joseph went through a tragedy of rejection by his siblings but it brought him in a false accusation. He was a sex offender but on record. But he became the prime minister of Egypt because of the plan and the will of God and the hand of the Lord upon him. The Holy Spirit in you, the Holy Spirit guiding you, the promise of your future, the destiny God has ordained for you, the love of God, the deep, a rooted love of God, is able to deliver you, is able to deliver from whatever happened to you as a child. No matter what it is, I declare over you that you will not be restricted, you will not be obstructed and you will not be in any way further rejected because of what you experienced as a child.

1:24:24May the Lord Himself grant you freedom from the bondage of childhood malpractice, of parental malpractice rather than your childhood. I believe that the Lord is able to bring good out of what you went through, I believe it. Okay, what else do we have Greg? Is that it? Got more? Here we go. Explain binding and losing. Okay, here we go. So, if you read for, I'm, okay, so Vicki, let me give you this. One of the best ways to, I wanna help you, instead of, I'm gonna explain it, but I want to help you all of us with something. When you see something inscripted that you don't understand, right? You need to get you what's called a cross, the treasury of scripture knowledge. You're gonna put that in the company, the treasury of scripture knowledge. And I want you to practice cross referencing, okay?

1:25:27Practice cross referencing. One of the best translation that explains binding and losing is the amplified Bible. When you look at the original and the intent of scripture, I don't think I, I don't see another translation that explains it better. I want all of us to get the, either the treasury of scripture knowledge or the new treasury of scripture knowledge. It is wonderful for cross referencing. There's another one called the dictionary of biblical themes. And I think the reason you should get is because it shows you what the scripture always interprets scripture. Scripture interprets scripture and it's always cross reference to another scripture to show you more understanding, more explanation for that, okay? And there's, other people here, probably other leaders who know they use different things for cross referencing. There's naves, topical, there's all kinds of stuff. This is a Tory topical Bible and different things, but I think that will help you. Now, let me go back to binding and losing. The amplified Bible says, whatever has been bound in heaven, right?

1:26:30Should be bound on earth. And whatever is loosed in heaven is what we lose on earth. It's the same thing as declaring the decree. It's the same thing as declaring the decree, right? So what he's saying is, Greg, do you have that? Put it on a load, I want to show them something because this is a cross reference. This is the explanation of declaring the decree of the Lord. It's showing you that we don't make it up, okay? Now, when Greg gets a chance, he's gonna put up the scripture from the amplified Bible, that's what you're gonna put up. Okay, here it is. Scroll down a little bit. Okay, look at verse 19. He said, I will give you the keys or the authority of the kingdom of heaven. And whatever you bind, whatever you forbid, whatever you declare to be in proper and unlawful on earth, watch this, we'll have already been bound in heaven. And whatever you loose, permit,

1:27:32declare lawful on earth will have already been loosed in heaven. You see that? So he's saying, this is the definition of declaring the decree, is that I don't just, I don't bind and loose there. I bind it. I have to say, I bind the devil. You can't bind the devil now because he's not bound. He will be bound in the future, but he's not bound yet. So I can be so I bind you, Satan. He's still walking around and loose because we don't have the authority to do that. Now, what we could do is that we could, Jesus said, behold, I'm giving you authority over serpents and scorpions and over all the work of the enemy, I should mention by enemy's army. Now, because that is already in place, now I take authority over demonic activity, right? Now I can bind the workers, I can cast devils, I can evict devils, demons. I can evict the, I can cast out demons because it's already been done in heaven. I declare in the earth, I prevent in the earth, I do, I are, whatever it's unlawful,

1:28:34I have authority to enforce heaven's decision. That's it. I have your authority to enforce heaven's decision, okay? All right, give me two more we're done because I'm away over time. Give me two more we're done. Is it safe to believe and say that no curse, voodoo, et cetera, power over us because of what John four states. Yeah, I say it all the time. You can't who do voodoo know do me? I mean, no, I mean, Bailem explains the king, Bailek says, Bailek is like, I paid you to curse me, you blessing it and Bailem is like, I can't curse who God blessed. The blessing and the curse don't dwell in the same place, right? Curse without a cause, without a light. And so yes, I can declare this. And I think you saying John four and four, I don't know if you're referring to first John, but yeah, we could take authority over the things and that's why we stay in the scripture to see.

1:29:37We spend the word of God to know God, not to know of God, but to know him. We use the scripture to know him and it's important that we read the scripture we pray. And we spend as much or more time praying as we do read in the scriptures why because the scriptures point us to him and we wanna get to know him and we want him to know us. When we stand before me, we want him to say, I know you, we build a relationship now. Okay? Grant, give me one more and we will. Yeah. Can you speak on the enemy being an accuser? Okay, yeah. So what the enemy does and the Bible calls them the accuser, understand that the terms deablos, it means that even when what's ha satan or Satan means the accuser in the Old Testament, he's the prosecutor in the court of law. It's a prosecutorial position. It's not a name, it's a position, Satan. And his job, like a district attorney,

1:30:39is to bring charges, okay? Can't nobody really go to jail or be condemned to prison or to anything to death for that matter? If a charge is not bought against them. So Satan being the accuser, the purpose of his accusation is to bring condemnation. That is why Jesus said, a mafak Paul said in Romans chapter eight, Paul says, who will condemn us? And then again, later, I know, I was like, what is it? Yeah, in chapter eight, in the early party says, there's therefore now no condemnation to them who encouraged Jesus. We reject condemnation. Even if I get it wrong, I reject condemnation. I reject it in Jesus, I will not, I will not receive, now watch this. See, I have time to do that. Read Zechariah chapter three versus one through five. Zechariah chapter three versus one through five.

1:31:39Simone, read this, as you will see, that when the accusation is brought against Joshua the High Priest, the Lord rejected the accusation and he actually ministered mercifully to Joshua the High Priest. He changes his filthy garments. He changes turban. The filthy garments represent being cleansed from sin. The turban represents his mind. And so Satan, you're going to be accused of the mafak Greek word of this and you got it since we saw there. Watch this. As Zechariah chapter three says this, so the angels said to the others standing that take off his filthy clothes and turn to Joshua says, see, I've taken away your sins and now I'm giving you these fine clothes. But if you read verses one, two and three, it's a powerful, grab clothes and put it up but there's sins we're doing this. There's sins done, y'all, y'all, we over time to know I'm so sorry. But since we're here, watch this, give me verses one, two and three. And this is it, I'm done, no more questions, this is it.

1:32:41Watch this. Then the angels stood, I mean, showed me rather, Joshua the High Priest standing before the angel of the Lord. The accuser Satan was there at the angel's right hand making accusations against Joshua. Joshua is in a position of authority and authorization. He's the High Priest. He's the one that stands before God on the behalf of people. Look at verse two. So the accusations being made against in verse one and verse two and the Lord said to Satan, either Lord reject your accusation Satan. Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire. Look at that. And that is your testimony. Your testimony is that the Lord himself, the Lord himself rejects the accusation of your accuser Satan. Why would he do that? He does that because he wants to make sure

1:33:41that you understand that you are valuing his sight, that the price that was paid on your behalf, the propitiation, this is a big word that means that Jesus appeased God's anger towards sin and watch as far as your concern, he sees you blameless. He sees you without spot, he sees you without wrinkle. And if you live that, if you keep your heart pointed in that direction, no accuser, no devil, no demon, no person to bring accusation against you. This is important for every believer. And this lesson tonight, I pray that it was lengthy, but I pray that it did something in your spirit to settle you. May the Lord cause you to dream. You are the Lord's people. May He cause you to dream dreams and see vision. May the Lord cause you to enter into encounters with Him that you have up to this point that experience. May the Lord cause you to become serious about the things of God to the point

1:34:42where you turn your back completely on your old life to the point where you refuse to be who you used to be in Jesus' name. Amen. We're done. We're done. Greg, put the offering thing up here. Like saying, of course, this is a made-beak offer. You know what we do. It's time to so gift to the Lord for it. Thank you for those of you always send me cash. That's what I think. May the Lord bless you and reward you in 104,000 fold into your life. And I pray for those of you who are struggling. And don't know what you say, pastor, I don't have a job and I don't know what's going on. May the Lord give you favor. May the Lord put a position on your heart, a strategy on your heart, a business something on your heart and you go for it. And the Lord Himself performed it to show you that He's God and He knows where you are. He knows who you are. And He knows how He plans to bring you through. You know how, you know the giving protocol for tonight, standard QR code or text hungo church at Land of the Seven, seven, nine, seven, seven, and I want you to sow, okay?

1:35:42I pray that this word tonight helped you and it changes everything about the next 50 years of your life. Amen. Blessings and favor to you. I'm out, peace be to you.
