0:00In Birmingham today, March 15th, Bryan Dawson from 1819 News took part in an open debate at the University of Montevallo. He made the case that Atlantic Society with Christian Principles brings order and success, while drifting away at least to widespread problems. The event was called Prove Me Wrong and came from Turning Point USA's Pick Up The Mike Series. It echoed the style of their late founder Charlie Kirk's, Change My Mind Talks, with Dawson at a table on the campus lawn, fielding questions from students. Students pushed back on issues like abortion, foreign policy, the situation with Iran, race, and views on homosexuality. Dawson held firm that moving away from traditional biblical and natural law views is pushing culture toward collapse. He pointed out that Western societies thrive for centuries by following these foundations, but have rejected them over the last 50 to 100 years. That shift, he said, explains today's chaos in politics and daily life.
