But on April 19th, right as they headed to Barcelona Airport for the next leg to Istanbul, thieves smashed into their van parked outside a man. Police station no less and claimed them out. The break-in was vicious, with windows shattered and the back door battered open. They lost guitars, bass rigs, amps, a clarinet, cymbals, drum machines, a midi keyboard, a MacBook, and a ton of clothes. Some with deep sentimental value from folks they've lost. For a band that's never had it easy financially, this thing's extra raw. They called it a brutal kick in the teeth after what felt like a triumphant tour stretch. Now they're scrambling without their gear just weeks before UK dates kick off. Fans stepped up quick with a GoFundMe. They aimed for 11,000 pounds to replace essentials and hit over 14,000 already.
