Today is day 76, the storm will not destroy you. From Isaiah chapter 43, verse 2, from the new living translation. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. So storms have a way of making everything feel uncertain. They shake your confidence, they shake your peace, and sometimes they shake your faith. But God makes something very clear in this verse. The storm may come, but it will not take you out. Look at what he says. Notice this.

He says, when you go through deep waters, not if, but when you go through deep waters, that means storms are part of the journey. Not a sign that something's gone wrong. But right in the middle of that reality, God gives a promise that changes everything. I will be with you. That means you're not fighting this alone. The same God who part of the seas. The same God who walked on water, who calmed the storms with a word, is the one standing with you right now. Now, I've had moments in my life where things felt like they were closing in. Where it looked like the pressure was too much, I just didn't know how, I didn't know how I was going to get through it. And if I'm honest, there were times I thought, this might be the thing that breaks me. But looking back, it didn't. Not because I was strong, but because God was faithful.

And that's what you need to hear today. This is not going to be the thing that destroys you. It may stretch you. It'll probably grow you and it's going to change you. But it's not going to finish you. God didn't bring you this far to let a storm take you out. Well, let's pray. Father God, thank you for being with me in deep waters when everything feels overwhelming. Lord, remind me that I'm not alone and that this storm will not destroy me. Strengthen my faith and help me stand firm in your promise. Now, here's what I want you to do today. Write down, I will not be destroyed. Put it on a piece of paper. Put it on a yellow sticky. Stick it on your home screen. Place it where you're going to see it all day long. Every time fear tries to rise up, speak it out loud and remind yourself that God is with you.

Okay? I'll see you tomorrow.

Well, that's all for today. But remember, I'm here every weekend and you should be too. Reminds with Lauren is produced by Rick Uhoss, special intro and outro music by Weston McCurry.
