RunPod

About this episode

David "Jacko" Jackson was Nottingham Rugby's most capped player and all-time top scorer, before a traumatic brain injury ended his career at 31.

Having used running and breathwork to rebuild his life, he is now attempting Mission IN-possible... running 100 marathons in 100 consecutive days between May 29 and September 5, 2026, covering thousands of miles and smashing world records!

All while looking to raise £1 million for brain injury charities Headway UK and Head for Change, and to break the world record for consecutive ultramarathons in the process.

An incredible story of resilience, acceptance and awareness. David has been joined by many runners with incredible stories along the way, continuing to enrich peoples lives.
